Facilities and Capacity

Connaught Gardens has historic roots dating back to 1820, when Emmanuel Losada first constructed a villa on the land that he named called Cliff Cottage. Today, some of the remaining stone walls are present throughout the gardens, seamlessly incorporated into the picturesque, rustic aesthetic. The grounds now serve as an open-air, romantic place for couples to enjoy their wedding day. Their largest event space is the Lawn and Bandstand, which is suitable for events with 100 or more guests. Also present are the vibrant Sunkens Gardens and Extended Gardens, to host gatherings of 100 and 50, respectively. For more intimate celebrations, Jacob's Ladder offers rustic stone surroundings and stunning ocean views for up to 25 guests to enjoy.

As a pet-friendly venue, Connaught Gardens allows couple to incorporate their four-legged friends into their big day. Your chosen venue will be made private for your ceremony to ensure a secluded, peaceful atmosphere. Your venue rental will includes time for setup and decorating, the ceremony itself, and a cocktail and photography hour before you head off for your reception celebration. The experienced in-house team will be ready to take care of all of the details to make your special day unforgettable. On the big day, two team members will be present to make sure everything goes according to plan. The team hosts up to six ceremonies a year, and advises couples to reach out to secure their spot.
