We had our wedding here on 14/08/26, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our special day so perfect.

A special mention must go to Santosh from the restaurant and his wonderful team, as well as Danielle, our wedding coordinator. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were all so attentive, helpful and genuinely caring throughout the whole day.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone for making our wedding so memorable. We are so glad we chose this venue and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate their special day. ❤️

We married at this venue on August 22nd 2026 and can honestly say that despite concerns we had the most amazing day.

Dani the wedding coordinator was faultless throughout the wedding planning. She was personal, friendly, organised and attentive, she listened to our concerns and delt with the issues we raised professionally despite management changing repeatedly throughout the 6 months of planning.
Dani went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, her dedication, kindness and patience truly helped make our wedding the best day of our lives.
We really appreciated having someone we could rely on and her attention to detail made everything come together beautifully.
Our 60 guests had a fabulous day and we have recieved so many compliments about the venue, food and service.

The menu tasting experience was excellent and we were made to feel like VIP's. The menu options were very good and the food itself delicious, we did upgrade the wines as the ones included in the package were unpleasant.
The restaurant manger on the wedding day was different from the one we met at the tastings but he was actually much nicer and seemed more genuine.
The catering team overall were friendly, efficient and made an extra effort throughout our wedding day.
The prosecco breakfast for the bridal party was perfect and we were able to add to it from the breakfast buffet downstairs, the canapes served after our vows were beautifully presented and the 3 course meal was served professionally, it arrived hot, tasted wonderful and the empty plates cleared away discreetly.

The bar was well stocked and staffed by a very friendly, cheerful team from 11am as our guests arrived through til midnight. The prices are high but what you would expect from a hotel.

We had a DJ and photobooth included with our package, both were very accommodating, easy to engage with and great fun.
We paid extra for mood lighting for the barn during the evening reception and it was definitely worth the cost.
There was also a £500 decoration voucher included to be used with 1 of 2 hire vendors, unfortunately they have a minimum £500 spend and then add installation and VAT. We were however pleased with the drapes and faux floral chandelier.

The getting ready room provided is a basic boardroom but we spruced it up with flowers and balloons. There is nowhere to hang a wedding gown, the rail provided is not tall enough, our photographer took shots of the dress hanging in the bridal suite.

The barn itself and adjoining rooms looked amazing once decorated and functioned perfectly.
The grounds are not particularly photogenic despite the location, the gardens are maintained at a very basic level, there are no cigarette bins and even the huge stone urns which could be stunning are left with dead or dying plants in them.

Our experience with the wider hotel management was mixed, there were problems with communication and organization that caused unnecessary stress during the planning process.
These were mainly maintenance and cleanliness issues which should not of been the wedding coordinators job to deal with.
The other problems were with room bookings, the rooms themselves were fine but out of the 6 booked 3 of these were shambolic.. One couple were told a week prior to the wedding that their room had been double booked, I was shown to the bridal suite then removed to a smaller room & my parents had pre-requested a sofa bed in their room for my youngest son but were informed on the day that the sofa would have to go in the bridal suite.
Fortunately Dani worked her magic and rectified the issues seamlessly.

We would encourage management to improve consistency and communication between the different teams and to invest financially in the outdoor spaces. Beautiful gardens would make a significant difference to the hotels presentation and atmosphere.

From the time we booked our wedding the venue sold out to OYO the worst hotel chain and the wedding co-ordinator left. Biggest issue was the booking of rooms. This was a very stressful and unnecessary process and i spent hours trying to rectify. Very complicated system that does not run parallel with the hotel and you cannot book accomodation directly with the hotel for block bookings for your wedding date. Not all rooms offer air con and we had one of the hottest days. The rooms that were offered with it the air con did not work. We had to switch it off in the bridal suite as it was very loud and not cool at all. The other downside i didn't know even existed is the lido that is open to the public which is only accessible via the lawn where you are hosting your wedding. The grounds are not very photogenic even though i suggested fairy lights in some parts and the grounds are not looked after at all. Do not bother with the secret garden, it is awful. No colour, no flowers - very disappointing. The food was delicious but definitely not cooked by the chef that did the trial menu even though we were promised and told the week before it would be him, so not as good as trial but good. The staff are lovely and obvioulsy up against it from management. The venue needs investment in cleaning and updating. The carpets were stained, had holes in in parts, windows smeared and the venue had not been dusted for a very long time which we pointed out on numerous occasions. The signage for the barn was hanging. This hotel could be gorgeous but lacks personality and wedding vibes. Had this been an OYO hotel at the time of booking i would not have booked my wedding there. Pros:
Daniella the events coordinator always responded to email queries very quickly in the lead up and set up our DIY centerpieces exactly like how they were in our reference photo.

We really enjoyed the menu tasting they gave us a real VIP experience and a whole form to fill in with feedback.

Canapes, 3 course lunch and buffet all well presented and delicious. Catering team all very friendly and attentive. We were so grateful for the private canapés and drink right after the ceremony!

We liked the choice of places people could spend time as if they didn't want to dance they could sit outside or in the separate bar room so it was never too noisy to chat.

Dj and photobooth included in the package were very good -everyone had an amazing evening

Our bridal suite was very spacious and was a good backdrop for photos. We were given fruit, pastries, tea and prosecco in the getting ready room. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy them really as the morning just flew by!

It isnt always the case depending on what day of the week you get married but we were able to set lots of things up the day before which removed a lot of stress on the morning

All our centerpieces and cake decorations were carefully boxed back up and nothing went missing. All of leftover cake was also kept aside safely

There is good aircon in the Tithe Barn. We couldn't remember if there was and had been panicking earlier in the week as it was during a heatwave!

Cons:
There was some poor communication between the staff internally and also between them and the decorators which led to some slip ups with the decorations. Also the timing of the bridal party entrance got botched as no one asked us what song we wanted to enter to so staff just opened the doors when they wanted and sent them in a song too early. I've been reassured they will work on this. It's a new team running the place now so I think they're still getting the hang of things a bit.

We also passed on some issues for the facilities/cleaning department as the barn loos didn't have soap or toilet roll ready for guest arrival and there were issues in a few guest rooms.

The service of the wedding breakfast was very prompt but one of our family members special requirement meals ended up being given to someone else. And the red wine came out in ice buckets which I didn't care about but the wine coneisserus were shocked haha. The bar also wasn't stocked up ready for guest arrival when we'd been told people would be able to buy drinks whilst they waited for the ceremony. I needed non alcoholic wine provided for one guest but had to pay £40 in advance for them to buy in one bottle! (Which was worth £10 max). Bit steep when already spending over 10k. The catering and beverages manager bought 2 in the end to make up for the store not having the brand we chose which was nice of him. But then they forgot to actually put it on the table and we had to chase it up. Breakfast is fine but not the most exciting looking buffet. And you have to order eggs to be cooked to order.

No one told us there was a wedding there the next day so at 1am we're suddenly told we need to clear all our stuff out when we were about to head to bed.

I've reccomended they put a hanging rail in the girls getting ready room as there was nowhere to hang dresses as its a conference room.

Not really a complaint but just to make people aware - The outdoor area can be very busy in summer as people come just to use the swimming pool. It wasnt too bad on our wedding day but the day before there were kids in swimming trunks running all over the place so I'd been a bit worried! During the wedding breakfast a guests dog got in and was running around for a bit too!

The sound system only works with iphones. We were told to go to the shops and buy an adaptor (this is the evening before the wedding). If we hadn't been there to use it to rehearse the night before we never would've known about this issue until we went to use it on the day.

We received a nice apology but not a penny back for all the issues we had. We hope they take it all on board and future weddings go smoother. We had a beautiful day still and everyone had a great time but it could definitely have been more polished for what it cost us. Definitely invest in a toastmaster to keep things on track, ours was invaluable

The staff were professional and the organiser was in constant contact with us from the beginning of meeting up til the end. Their service team made the day go so smoothly and we weren't worried about anything.
The tithe barn is a special place for any wedding and we had our reception & wedding breakfast there. We were allowed to setup decorations the day before and they were flexible when we could arrive, even up to the point of midnight!
The projection screen is not hung up but on a stand which meant it's not very visible to everyone, especially at the back, and sound system is not elaborate, with a small cupboard at the back that can plug in a usb or audio cable into your phone or computer. We had our own DJ that brought his own sound system and lights.
It's a cosy and intimate place and we managed around 130 guests quite comfortably. The guests enjoyed their stay in the hotel and had a chance to go swimming too.
I highly recommend this place if you like a barn theme. There are some photo opportunities in the garden and around the place.
The guest parking is on the opposite side so they would need to carefully cross where cars can come around the bend quickly.
The wedding package was slightly cheaper than the standard but it's similar to other places.

This is an amazing wedding venue, but we wanted to dedicate this review especially to Kiki, the wedding coordinator - without her our wedding wouldn't have been the success it was. Kiki worked so hard to make our day special and it really did show, we will be forever grateful for all of her efforts.

Working with the venue wasn't always smooth - particularly with room bookings - but Kiki, made the process extremely pleasant throughout, being responsive, showing genuine care and to investigate complex queries and issues, being pivotal to finding solutions. Leading up to and on the day, Kiki was so patient and understanding, supporting us in the set up and smooth running of the day in such a patient manner, handling all our questions and requests no matter how big of small. Kiki's kindness shined through in her work - she is an absolute rockstar and cannot thank her enough for how special she made us feel.

This is hands down a fantastic venue - the barn is a great space, especially if you want a country feel (although I do recommend dressing it up if you can) - the space is brilliant overall, particularly good if you want a venue where you have plenty of space inside in case it rains. The grounds are also beautiful. And the venue asy to get to for guests. The food is also amazing.

However, the experience is made the success it is by Kiki and the people on the ground on the day, making the magic happen. We really cannot thank these people enough!

We booked the A Thousand Years package and it was absolutely worth it. The barn was beautiful on its own, but to have the bar area as well was great.

The one thing that cannot be stressed enough is how fantastic everyone who works there is. Kiki was a brilliant coordinator. She was so professional and accommodating. Nothing was ever too big for her.

Mary, who looked after our catering needs in the morning and during the wedding breakfast was fantastic. Made sure our prosecco breakfasts were never running dry, even providing other options if prosseco wasn't wanted, and made sure our suppliers were also well fed. She made sure both me and my husband were eating and drinking during our meal and was overall fantastic.

We also want to shout out Steven on reception the Friday before, who managed to reorganise rooms last minute when there was a hiccup with a booking, the bar staff both on the day and the day before, and all the catering staff.

It was an amazing day, thank you so much.

We had a wonderful day, Kiki ensured everything was organised and timed correctly, she was there to help with every little detail. Thank you so much for making sure the day was so special.

We got ready in the lady Hamilton room, plenty of space for full hair and make up! They brought us any food and drink we wanted, we were specially grateful for Amelia bringing us sausage sandwiches!

The food was amazing, many of our guest have said it was the best they had at any wedding!

As this is at the bottom of boxhill, we managed to go to the top for couple photos which were spectacular!

We recently had our wedding at this incredible venue, and we honestly cannot thank the team enough for making our day so magical and seamless from start to finish.

From the moment we booked, our amazing wedding planner Kiki was by our side. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her—she went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The day before the wedding, she took the time to go through every detail with us, checking and double-checking everything, and making sure I was completely at ease. On the day itself, she messaged me first thing in the morning and continued to support us throughout—keeping the schedule on track, checking in with guests, and just being an absolute star. A special and thoughtful touch was when, after a very long day for her, she noticed I hadn't had a chance to eat and brought some food up to our room. It was incredibly kind and truly appreciated.

We also want to thank Amelia, the food and business manager, who was fantastic throughout our stay. She made sure we were happy with everything, especially the food, and looked after us so well on the morning of the wedding—organising breakfast, drinks, and anything else we needed. She even found a separate room for the groom and ring bearers to get ready, which was such a help.

In the evening, Shana took over and ensured the same high level of care and service continued. She handled everything so we could just relax and enjoy the evening. After the celebrations, she cleared and stored all of our belongings safely so we didn’t have to worry about a thing—we could just head to bed stress-free.

A huge thank you also to Michael, our master of ceremonies, who kept everything running like clockwork. He made sure everyone was where they needed to be and that everything flowed smoothly without a single hiccup.

The whole team was outstanding, and we genuinely cannot recommend this venue and its staff enough. Every single person played a part in making our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

We got married at the Burford Bridge Hotel on 17th April, and it was genuinely the most incredible day of our lives. From the very beginning of planning, the team at Burford Bridge were so accommodating and welcoming – we knew straight away that it was the perfect venue for us.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Our guests were blown away by the stunning Tithe Barn, and we were lucky to have wonderful weather on the day, which made the hotel's gardens the perfect setting for the afternoon, with the breathtaking Box Hill in the background.
Every single member of staff on the day was fantastic – friendly, professional, and so attentive. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue.
But the true star of the show was the hotel’s wedding coordinator, Kiki. She is absolutely incredible at what she does. From start to finish, she was always on hand to answer our (many!) questions, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Not only is she brilliant at her job, but she’s also one of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. The venue itself is stunning and the barn is a beautiful romantic setting for the wedding. Everything flowed so well on the day and the ceremony went perfectly. The getting ready room was super helpful for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in, making the whole morning way less stressful. This venue was exactly what we wanted for our wedding.
- A nice large old barn
- Enough extra space so being indoors for winter wasn't a problem
- Separate space for child care available
- Lots of hotel rooms for our guests from further away
- Nice grounds for if it wasn't raining
- Close enough to London for evening guests

We worked with Kiki at the hotel to arrange the wedding and she was professional and helped us make the day go well. The food was good, and everything provided (chairs, tables etc) was of good quality.

We got married at Burford Bridge Hotel last month (October 2024) and had the best day ever thanks to the Wedding Coordinator Kiki and the fantastic team.

Why we would recommend Burford Bridge:
- THE VENUE: Is in 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The surrounding area is stunning and the hotel has beautiful gardens overlooking Box Hill. The Tithe Barn is a gorgeous, rustic setting for the day. The Tithe Barn also has its own bar and private areas for wedding guests. There is a large getting ready room for the bridal party to use on the morning of the wedding, and the staff surprised us by bringing up breakfasts and drinks for everyone!
- THE HOTEL: We wanted a barn wedding, and having the hotel on site too was a real bonus. Our wedding was on Saturday, but we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Many of our family/friends had to travel to attend our wedding, and they also stayed at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and there's a good breakfast in the mornings. Having all of the set up/wedding ceremony and reception/hotel rooms etc all in one place took the stress out of the day.
- THE TEAM: The whole team at Burford Bridge were so accommodating. They were flexible and nothing was too much trouble. The communication was great: from booking, to the delicious menu tasting, answering my thousands of questions via email! The staff put many personal touches into our day.

- THE DAY: The day went off without a hitch, thanks to the staff taking care of everything. They ensured the day ran smoothly from start to finish, which meant we could relax and fully enjoy our day.
