We loved our time at Happy Valley and can’t imagine a more perfect location for our wedding. All our guests couldn’t believe how beautiful and spacious the site was. Katie, Hope, Klara and the team were so friendly and helpful throughout the lead up and on the weekend itself. The site has such great options for really making the event how you want it and it was amazing to spend such a long weekend with our families and whole wedding party on site and not just on the day itself. Memories made to last a lifetime!

We had looked into other barn venues in Norfolk, but we chose The Red Barn the moment we set eyes on it! It's absolutely beautiful and was not only the perfect size, it also offered a lot of flexibility in terms of decor and caterers etc, and was better value than other venues we'd looked at. The lawn outside the front was also ideal for the children's games we had planned. The owner Richard and his family were so helpful with our wedding planning (we styled the venue ourselves but it meant lots of questions from me!) and offered lots of help and advice - nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I would choose The Red Barn again, and would recommend them to other couples in a heartbeat.

Everyone was so complimentary about the accommodation and the venue itself, a hidden gem that none of our guests had been to before! It went perfectly, thank you all at LGWB. The venue is so unique and reasonably priced compared to other venues, no hidden fees at all. Knowing all we now know about the wedding industry after years of research, myself & my wife would have chosen this venue 10x over💍

I know “Hidden gem” is a bit of a cliché but in this case it feels apt. We found the venue by accident. It’s VERY secluded – even by the standards of Norfolk barns – and surrounded on all sides by greenery, with no buildings aside from the barn in sight. If you love the countryside and nature, you will probably love this place (and you might be interested to know that the owner is investing in biodiversity projects nearby). We even saw deer and hares bouncing around on site. The red brick barn itself is also beautiful in an authentic rustic way and an excellent space for partying and music (our wedding band said it was one of the best party spaces they’ve ever played at). And no neighbours means you don’t have to worry about the noise. The people in charge of running the venue were absolutely great, they were just lovely kind normal people rather than wedding industry types, and were very laid back and flexible, essentially letting us do whatever we wanted with the site. There were no restrictions on suppliers or anything like that and the contract they sent us was incredibly short (our wedding planner was impressed!). We had lots of people camping on the site – more than 20 – and the camping facilities were excellent. The bell tents are luxurious – it was great being able to offer guests a free stay in those. Great Massingham is a five-minute drive away and is definitely one of the prettiest villages in North Norfolk (and we would know – we’ve seen a lot of them). The Dabbling Duck pub is a beautiful up-scale pub/inn/restaurant if you want a base for pre- and post-wedding activities. Overall, very happy to recommend the Little Massingham Estate barn to anyone, especially if you love the countryside and want a space you can make your own. Although our wedding is of course over we still feel quite attached to the place and we feel that the owners deserve every success. Hope you have a wonderful wedding there too!

We got married at CHB in august and it was truly the best day we could have ever asked for. From our first visit to CHB we had ‘the’ feeling and we couldn’t have made a better decision. From day 1 Eleanor was incredibly helpful, each meeting made us feel like we were being supported each step of the way and recommendations for suppliers etc were tailored to us. Eleanor and Evie were also the best hype women, making us feel so special and excited for our day and removing any nerves. Also having a book of recommended suppliers helps so much with the overwhelm of choosing who to use for different elements of the day. We also stayed at the coach house for the whole weekend and it was perfect for the night before, getting ready and celebrating the day after! We cannot recommend CHB enough - the whole experience was amazing.

On the 8th of November 2025, we tied the knot at Elms Barn. We had been planning this day for 2 years with the help of Ruth and it exceeded every single expectation. Firstly, the venue itself is stunning, the accommodation is spacious but homely. The ground themselves are vast and wonderful to wonder around as we did the day before and the morning after our wedding. The barn was so intimate for our ceremony and felt like such a special place and thanks to Ruth and the staff, during the changeover periods, the rooms took on new feelings each time we returned. The flowers from Tina and the florists were stunning and exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing, especially the bangers and mash we had for main! And all of the staff there on the day were so lovely to everyone through the whole day, never slowing down and always having fun. This was the first wedding venue we looked at when we started planning and we left knowing that we were going to book. This was for all the reasons above relating to the wonderful venue and the packages they offer but also because of Ruth who was instrumental in helping us plan and execute the day of our dreams. We really didn’t know how it was all going to come together, but thanks to her, it did, seamlessly. She is professional, but also kind and fun and she made the whole experience so wonderful and we cannot thank her enough! Thank you to Ruth and everyone at Elms Barn for being so amazing and for helping us make the day of our dreams!!

From our first viewing of Thursford for our wedding, right up until the day after the wedding, Mellissa and the fabulous team at Thursford could not do enough for us, they were friendly, welcoming and so helpful. From arranging an engagement photo shoot, to answering my questions so swiftly through email. There was nothing that was too much for them and the day was beautiful all thanks to them and all their hard work. Holly Lodge was the most beautiful location to get ready in, and the breakfast that was put on for us both mornings was so yummy, with so much to choose from. They really had thought of everything- we cannot wait to book to stay again in the very near future- and our family that stayed with us all said the same! The entire day ran as expected, knowing that Mellissa and the team had everything sorted to run as planned, and all the small details we had planned were ate up to perfection, from glow sticks and sunglasses being bought out to the dance floor, to assisting our guests with sparklers and lighters. Even the morning of wedding, replying to my last-minute panic texts- nothing was too much hassle. It was truly magical seeing all our plans come to life. We both want to thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special. We feel incredibly lucky to have got married in such a beautiful venue with the most amazing team of people. Love Elisha & James x

We had a fantastic wedding day here in March 2018. Sam and the team couldn't have been better, and we have received many compliments about the venue, the food (especially the bacon rolls) and the drink. It was a pleasure dealing with Sam in the build up to the big day, and her team did all the extra bits you don't even think of! The barn looked amazing and was a great space for the wedding breakfast and the party afterwards!! The gardens provided a lovely setting for photos, and Bressingham Hall is a unique and beautiful house to stay in for your special occasion. We would both thoroughly recommend this venue! :) Thanks to Sam and all the team.

We had originally booked Hunters Hall for Halloween 2020, when COVID hit and restricted mass gatherings. During this time, the staff at Hunters Hall could not have been more helpful in working with us and the current rules to make our special day as magical as possible. We rebooked them for a vow renewal 5 years on, with the expectation of COVID being over and they helped us with all the arrangements to allow us to have a second go round. They went above and beyond in all aspects of hosting our wedding and made sure that we felt really welcome, not once but twice holding our ceremonies in their venue. The food was excellent throughout the day, and the staff were amazing at helping with all the little loose ends on both days. The venue is incredible, a beautiful setting that needs no additional decoration to make a magical experience, the Victorian barn is absolutely gorgeous and a fantastic place for the ceremony, and the Starlit Barn was perfect for our wedding breakfast. It is clear that the staff here truly care about every aspect of your special day and put in an incredible amount of effort to deliver exactly what you are looking for in your wedding.

We cannot recommend Godwick highly enough to prospective couples, if you’re considering booking a viewing, do it! Choosing Godwick was the best decision we made during our wedding planning journey. From our first venue tour with James, Godwick’s owner, the passion and love for the place that had been his family home and played host to his own wedding was clear to see, and this friendliness and pride in their venue was reflected by every member of the team we interacted with throughout the planning process. All of the small, close-knit team were approachable, professional and entirely dedicated to ensuring we had the best day possible. Our coordinator Debbie-Lee was an absolute superstar and a true asset to the Godwick team. From our very first meeting with her she understood our vision for the day immediately and went above and beyond to ensure she helped us create a day that was completely unique to us and exceeded all our expectations. She was incredible at communicating with our vendors, walking us through the logistics and timings of the day and thinking of special touches to bring all our ideas to life. The venue itself had everything we were looking for and more. We viewed around 8 venues across Norfolk and from our first visit it was clear that Godwick just had that extra special something. Everything at Godwick is finished to an exceptionally high standard without ever feeling corporate or ‘one-size fits all’ and its beautiful buildings provide such a versatile blank canvas around which to build your day. The beautiful venue along with the family-run and close-knit team mean you get a truly personalised experience created by people who generally care about you as a couple and are dedicated to giving you the best day possible. We loved the history of the Great Barn itself and it was the perfect size to comfortably seat all of our guests with room for a live band and dance floor. The lawn area behind the barn provided the perfect space for post-ceremony drinks, garden games and canapés, whilst guests enjoyed tractor rides to the beautiful ruins of the Lost Village of Godwick. The opportunity to visit the ruin by tractor was a unique selling point of the venue and provided such a lovely quiet moment to share with each other as newlyweds as well as the perfect backdrop for photos. One of the features that truly made our wedding weekend so memorable was the amazing on-site accommodation which provided the opportunity for so many of our friends and family to stay with us and share in such a special weekend. The Hall itself provided the perfect space for both the bridal and groom’s party to stay together the night before, get ready on the wedding morning and enjoy a brilliant pool party in the sunshine the next day. The rooms were each beautifully decorated and provided the perfect environment for getting ready, as well as a real sense of comfort and luxury. One of the best aspects of the hall was the well appointed games room with its pool table and darts board that provided an ideal space for the groom’s party getting ready photos, as well as for a darts tournament on the Sunday evening that brought all generations together. We also had guests staying in the Old Stables, which was particularly helpful for elderly relatives, as well as in the beautifully cosy Shepherds Huts and Glamping tents which our friends couldn’t praise highly enough. We are so incredibly glad we chose Godwick as the venue for our special day and cannot thank the team enough for all their hard work and dedication to ensuring we had the perfect weekend. We will never forget what a brilliant time we had there and would truly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an exceptionally high quality wedding venue with a real personal touch.
