From the second we viewed Elms barn, I knew it was our venue, it was absolutely magical, the flowers were absolutely perfect, the day was amazing and I can’t put into words how beautiful it all was. - the bar staff, the accommodation it’s THE best wedding venue I have ever ever been to and to have our own special day there was just everything and more.

Then there’s Ruth, Ruth has dealt with my meltdowns, stupid questions, late night, early morning phone calls & my endless changes.
She have been not only a wedding planner, but a friend, a guide, a dress saver, suit sorter, button hole queen, but most of all she has been herself & she is more than we could’ve ever wished for.
The day wouldn’t have gone how it did if it wasn’t for Ruth, she is such a beautiful human & we honestly owe the world to her.

From the very start of our wedding journey at elms barn we had never felt so looked after!

Ruth was an absolute pleasure to work alongside she was nothing but helpful and guided us through our whole journey keeping us well in the loop all the way until the very end of our big day!! Super quick at responding to emails or calls, and had everything running super smoothly.

Now we can’t forget about the amazing attentive staff throughout our stay and day they were incredible it was refreshing to see the staff party alongside us and celebrate after all our hard work and many of our guest have complimented about how amazing the staff were!! They were quick and flawless and professional yet fun literally couldn’t have asked for a better team on our big day. They even went as far as fixing my dress in the loo and pining it up for me in the evening, and looking after my best friends baby so she could have a dance with the bride and groom!!!!

As for the food. Wow. I can still remember the taste and smell coming out of the kitchen! The chef did wonders in creating the perfect menu to cater for all & let’s not forget about the evening foods that went down a treat! We Super impressed.

The Venue was absolutely breath taking and when we laid our eyes on it travelling up the road to elms barn we just knew this was the place for us. It is romantic yet rustic and the flower gardens are amazing! Perfect photography locations all around to create the best memories of your special day.

The in house florist did wonders with our table landscapes and she really captured the right colours we were looking for, she made it so easy especially for 2 lovers that haven’t got a clue about flowers!! We felt we could fully trust Teena in creating the perfect arrangements for us and she nailed it!!!

Elms Barn is one in a million for wedding venues, its absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing. They are so attentive making sure you have the absolute best day and no ask is too small or big. Highly recommend, especially if you want to be truly looked after in the process of wedding planning!

We had our wedding at Elms Barn and truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. From start to finish, everything was handled with such professionalism and care that it allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully maintained, with picture-perfect spots everywhere you look. Our guests were blown away by the gardens and the charm of the barn itself—it made for the most gorgeous backdrop to our day.

But what really made our experience exceptional was our wedding coordinator, Ruth. She was nothing short of amazing. From our very first meeting, she was warm, organised, and completely dedicated to making our day exactly what we wanted. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, answering our every question with such patience and expertise. On the day itself, Ruth and Sarah kept everything running seamlessly without us ever having to worry. We genuinely felt like we were in the best possible hands.

The whole team at Elms Barn delivered outstanding quality and service—from the food to the setup, everything was done to the highest standard. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our day special, and they succeeded in every way.

Elms Barn is a truly beautiful venue, but it’s the team that makes it exceptional. We’ll always be so grateful for the incredible memories they helped us create.

From the moment we booked our wedding date to leaving the morning after the big day, we had the most wonderful experience getting married at Elms Barn! A huge reason for this is Ruth (the Wedding & Events Director at Elms Barn). She is so incredibly helpful, very quick to respond (day and night!) and was a delight every time - especially on the wedding day itself! Thank you Ruth!

The venue is beautiful and we made use of the perfectly manicured rose gardens to have the ceremony on site and outside and we’re so pleased we did. It was like a dream on the day and the photos look incredible!

Teena (the Florist at Elms Barn) did a wonderful job transforming an already beautiful venue into something spectacular. The bouquets, wall sconces, floor garden and the flower arch were beautiful, thank you!

We had multiple guests tell us the food was the best they’ve tasted at a wedding, and we totally agree! Shel (the head chef at Elms Barn) was lovely, accommodating to changes and multiple dietary requirements, and outdid herself with the quality of the food all day! Outstanding!

The day flowed so well, thanks to Ruth keeping us organised and being able to relax and enjoy the occasion. When the sun set after our golden hour photoshoot against the blossoming trees in the orchard, the party started in the barn and with approximately 150 guests the place was bouncing but not at all cramped! Parking for this many guests was no bother too.

We couldn’t imagine our special day being anywhere else, and the best decision we made whilst wedding planning was to choose Elms Barn.

We had our wedding at the end of march at Elms Barn. The day was absolutely perfect! The weather was on our side but the team at Elms Barn were the real heroes. Ruth and Sarah kept us on track with our planning and made sure everything went like clockwork on the day. The barn and the grounds are so well looked after - all of our guests were blown away with the venue. The catering and waiting staff were friendly and approachable. Our guests absolutely loved the wedding breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, they really made it a day we will never forget. Thank you to everyone at Elms Barn. Highly highly recommend!

I couldn't recommend Elms Barn enough! From start to finish the process has been smooth, professional, whilst still feeling personalised to us as a couple. Not only is the venue and grounds itself stunning, but everyone has been so friendly and accommodating to any request or question we have asked, which has made the experience on a whole SO enjoyable and not stressful. Ruth's communication and support is top-tier, especially on the big day - she made sure we didnt have to worry about a thing! The staff were also unbelievable on the day (we received so many lovely comments from guests!), and the food was 10/10, accommodating to all dietary requirements! Words will never be enough to summarise the most perfect experience we have had with Elms Barn.

We looked at other wedding venues before we looked at Elms Barns, we actually visited exactly a year before our chosen wedding date. It was a bright and sunny autumn day as soon as we arrived it had the wow factor and we both knew as soon as we looked around it was exactly what we had been looking for.
We booked the wedding the next day, Ruth was amazing from start to finish and helped us plan the wedding with ease. She was always responsive, easy to communicate with and always willing to give us advice if needed. There was plenty of choice to be had and decisions to be made but we had plenty of time to make them and nothing was too much trouble if I asked Ruth any further questions.
We met with Teena in January and planned the flowers, she had extensive knowledge and we
discussed what we would like and she provided a detailed quote with all the information on. The flowers on the day were beautiful and the colours were just perfect, she had followed exactly what we had asked for.
The rest of the planning was straightforward and Ruth was always on hand if needed. We requested a cheese wedding cake and she arranged this with no problem at all.
We used some of Elms Barns recommend suppliers and they were all amazing and excellent to deal with too.
We stayed in Stackyard Lodge with our families the night before the wedding and this worked really well, it was well equipped and extremely comfortable and spacious. Other family members also stayed in the other cottages available. The evening before the wedding was a relaxed affair with everyone having a drink and some food.
The day of the wedding everyone enjoyed getting ready there and made it so much easier everyone being in one place.
The day of the wedding everything was perfect and Ruth was amazing at making sure everything ran smoothly. All the staff were extremely friendly and worked extremely hard serving everyone’s food and drinks, nothing was too much trouble .
There were many comments from our guests on how lovely the food and venue was. Everyone was very impressed with the evening food too.
We had the best wedding day and highly recommend Elms Barns. The venue was just
perfect for us and certainly fitted our autumnal theme with the stunning grounds. We can’t thank
them enough for making our day one to remember not just for us but for our family and friends too.

We had our dream wedding at Elms Barn and all the staff made it so easy and was totally perfect. We also were quite a last minute wedding so it was extra stressful although Ruth made it seem far from stressful. All the in house team that sorted things out did exactly what they said theyd do. Everything was perfect and I wish I could do it all over again. On the wedding day itself Sarah made sure everything ran perfectly which it did but at the same time I didnt even notice her there which was great. All the staff were amazing and joined in my celebrations which was great fun. Couldnt fault anything at all! Beautiful location too! Thank you so much

Ruth was our wedding co-ordinator at Elms Barn and she was excellent at every turn. She got our ideas and helped us to execute them. The barn looked exceptional on the day and we were able to have the ceremony in the Rose Garden which was beautiful. Teena advised us on flowers and produced the most beautiful bouquets and bud vases on the day. Everything was very relaxed, personalised to us and ran smoothly on the day.

Where do we begin, our wedding at Elms Barn was everything we dreamed of and more. This was the 2nd venue we viewed and as soon as we walked in we knew it was the place we wanted to get married, it’s absolutely stunning. Ruth was incredible and efficient from start to finish & had a lot of patience when i kept asking questions 😂 Sarah was also incredible, instantly made us feel at ease and made sure everything was going to plan on the day and I didn’t feel much stress at all! The staff on the day were also incredible they were helpful, approachable & very friendly and they even joined us on the dance floor later on in the evening which was nice! There was one member of staff (not sure on her name) but she went above and beyond for us on the day and also spent time to cut the flowers up into bunches for us. The flowers where do I even begin! Teena the in house florist is absolutely amazing, we loved all the flowers and they looked absolutely stunning. Teena was so helpful when we had the meeting as I wasn’t 100% sure on what I wanted but we soon come up with an idea and they didn’t disappoint! Everyone also said how stunning they looked. The food was out of this world, everyone said how amazing it tasted! They were also very accommodating for dietary requirements. Beautiful venue, beautiful grounds, beautiful accommodation which also all of our guests commented on. We had the most incredible wedding at Elms Barn. Ruth has been wonderful during the lead up to the wedding so well organised and helpful even helping with our first dance song choices. The day itself was incredible Sarah was the ultimate professional running the day like a well oiled machine. So friendly and kind keeping us calm and ensuring we were well tended to all day. The day went off without a hitch and I didn't have to think about anything all day Sarah did everything and was completely amazing, George and the rest of the staff at the elms were also fantastic, they were friendly and professional from helping me with my dress to joining in on abit of dancing every single one of them were brilliant, the venue itself is beautiful the gardens are well kept and so beautiful every place on the grounds is classic and elegant. The flowers by Teena where beautiful better then I could have ever imagined it was the most amazing day. The lodge and cottages at the venue we stayed in were amazing clean and well supplied there was so much space and felt quite sound proof we had a few children staying and nobody could hear any night time tears from the tiny humans.
All I can say is what an incredible venue, an incredible team and an incredible weekend we had.

We had our wedding here on 20/07/2024 and cannot put into words what an incredible venue Elms Barn is. We had the perfect day and Elms Barn played a big part in making it this way.

Ruth was incredible from start to finish! She was so helpful to us throughout the planning process - always available to give tips, advice and guidance. Ruth is beyond approachable and friendly and never makes you feel like you are being a nuisance (even when it’s just back and forth about how much tequila rose to be stocked behind the bar). Despite all of the other weddings she had - Ruth was always quick to respond to emails. Ruth was only meant to stay until just after our wedding breakfast, as Sarah was actually our on the day coordinator; however, the reality was that she left hours after this and when asked why she was still there she just said “I’m having a really good time” - you can tell that this is not just a job for Ruth but a passion and something that she really enjoys and loves and it really does show.

Sarah, our on the day co-ordinator, was amazing. We had a meeting with her the day before and it was clear that she’d already spent time coming to grips with our wedding, as she already knew most of the details and it was just the case of nailing down on the finer details. Even on the day Sarah was trying to make us have the best day / experience possible and as we arrived back from our ceremony, she was there ready with the suggestion of instead of having the alpacas we’d hired for entertainment being there for when guests arrived - for us to walk round leading them to our guests, which was a brilliant suggestion and worked amazingly. Sarah, Ruth and the team were on hand the whole day to help with whatever was needed - we brought flowers back from the church and the team were quick to find places for them all to go. As a picky drinker Elm Barn were great at accommodating what I would actually want to drink (fizzy drink addict here) and when we arrived back in the Bentley - Sarah had not just gotten us 2 glasses of pimm’s but a glass of fizzy for me too!

Elms barn were always so accommodating and allowed us to do our wedding the way we wanted it. When we wanted to skip a starter and just have a main and trio of desserts - they allowed us to do this instead of their standard 3 course offerings! They were beyond helpful in finding alternatives for vegetarians / those with dietary restrictions. The food was incredible and we have had so many people praise it!

Elms barn is a stunning venue, which was made even more stunning by their in house florists who made the venue look absolutely beautiful - a special thanks to Teena for helping bring our ideas together. Teena and her team did an absolutely fantastic job and we have had so many people comment on how amazing and beautiful the flowers were!

Even Elms Barn’s bar staff go out of their way to make the day special. Once the bar had closed they joined us on the dance floor for the last few songs, which was a lovely touch!

Elms Barn is a gorgeous venue with picturesque grounds, which were not only used by us for photos, but our guests also explored the beautiful grounds and took pictures too.

We are so pleased we chose Elms Barn for our wedding day and couldn’t be happier with the wedding they helped create.

We got married at Elms Barn on 27th March 2024. Ruth and the team were amazing. The venue is stunning and Teena did amazing job with our flowers too. Sarah the front of house manager was very informative and the staff were all helpful if there was any hiccups we were not aware of it and we felt like the main guests thanks to the team. I would 100% recommend. All our friends and family have also commented on the venue and staff saying how amazing it was and was one of the best wedding they had attended. Also big bonus they are dog friendly and helped us make sure our little fur baby was able to be included.
