We had an exceptional experience hosting our wedding at this venue. From the initial planning stages through to the day itself, everything was managed with professionalism, care, and meticulous attention to detail. The event ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the occasion with complete peace of mind. The venue was presented beautifully, and many of our guests commented on how impressive it looked, as well as on the high quality of the food. We are especially grateful to Charlie and the events team, whose calm, organised approach and willingness to assist with every detail made the entire process feel effortless. We would not change a single thing. The day exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are incredibly thankful to the team for helping us create such special and lasting memories. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding.

We would like to thank Alison who took over from Faye and helped plan our wedding from start to end. She made sure all the planning ran smoothly and helped with all questions we had over the planning period. She was extremely kind and understanding with our disability requirements for family. Nothing felt like a stupid question and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. On the day we weren't blessed with the best weather but the team at Knebworth were very flexible and helpful which made everything 10x better. Martin our events manager was amazing, always on hand, very experienced and couldn't do enough for us. Martin made me feel at ease the entire day. From helping with brollys in the rain to checking the wine on the table. He was extremely helpful with the photos and helping us get some last minute photos when the rain did eventually stop. After what I can only describe as one of the best days to remember, Martin was there till the very end of the night. As the guests left very happy and a little drunk I told the dj to pack away and Martin was there making sure everything was going smoothly. I feel he was an absolute star and a massive asset to the team. We have bragged to many people of how well we were looked after. Also 1st class event specialists were amazing. we were blown away with the amazing job she did to make the venue match our personality best! After looking through our pictures we are over the moon with how well everything turned out and how beautiful it all looked. Thankyou to the entire team!

Micklefield Hall was the first venue we saw, and we instantly fell in love. Its uniqueness, charm, and rich history completely captured us – we just knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our day. From the very beginning, the team at Micklefield were absolutely fantastic. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to every detail made the whole planning process feel seamless. We always felt supported, reassured, and genuinely excited. A special thank you to Lauren, who was outstanding. On the day itself, she kept us calm, made sure everything ran like clockwork, and handled every detail with such care. We were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment, knowing she had everything under control. The venue itself is breathtaking, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the grounds were – from the gardens to the water features, everything was picture-perfect. It made for such a stunning backdrop and gave everyone a chance to enjoy the surroundings throughout the day. Micklefield Hall is more than just a beautiful venue – it’s run by a genuinely wonderful team who care deeply about making your day unforgettable. We’re so grateful to them all for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime.

We honestly couldn’t fault our wedding venue - everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish and completely stress-free, which is exactly what you want when planning a wedding. Aimee was amazing in the lead-up to the big day. She was so organised, helpful, and reassuring, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We always felt in safe hands. On the day itself, Rachel was an absolute superstar. She kept everything running smoothly, was endlessly helpful, and managed to keep me and the groomsmen in check - which deserves a medal in itself, as well as keep everything on schedule. Calm, friendly, and totally on it, she made the whole day feel effortless. From start to finish, the team were just perfect. The food was also amazing! We couldn’t have asked for more and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an incredible, well-run, stress-free wedding day.

The moment we visited Lodge Farm on an open day we knew it was the venue for our wedding! The tipi is stunning with the wooden floor throughout, the secret garden space, optional barn space, the lawn and the beautiful house we stayed in, there is just so much to the venue. We loved how it was a blank canvas we could add our own stamp too. All of our guests commented on how it was a hidden gem they hadnt come across before and could see why we fell in love with it. Liz was a complete star especially on the day of our wedding making sure everything ran smoothly and we could enjoy our day, from ensuring we had a drink to helping arrange for our dog to feature in some photos. The accommodation was perfect, we were able to stay before and after the wedding, not to mention how delicious the breakfasts were! The venue made our day! Make sure you go to an open day to see the venue and meet the amazing team. We highly recommend the venue to all couples

We got married at The Barn at Alswick one month ago, and it was the first venue we viewed — we knew straight away it was the one! The space is stunning, from the beautiful beams and versatile layout to the gorgeous grounds that transformed so quickly into the most magical setting for our day. The outside area for reception drinks was ideal, and having relaxed, comfortable spaces for both of us to get ready made the morning so much easier. Our guests loved the option to stay overnight in the tents, and the breakfast the next morning went down an absolute treat. The package offered by the barn was wonderfully simple, and the partners they work with made planning our wedding in just nine months feel effortless. A huge thank you to everyone at the barn who made the day run so smoothly. Claire did an amazing job helping us throughout the planning, and both Claire and Ellie were brilliant helping us work things around on the day. So many people have told us how special the barn felt, and we couldn’t agree more. The Barn at Alswick gave us the most incredible backdrop to our wedding, and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly to any couple looking for a venue that truly has it all.

From the moment we walked through the door Essendon and the Team welcomed us in. The professional and personal approach started there.... we then had planning meetings, menu tastings, wine tastings and the final preparation/confirmation that Essendon and Jo's team going to deliver the best day. They absolutely fulfilled our expectations with a completely seamless day from start to finish, everything was perfect. We cant wait to come back and celebrate all our big milestones back at Essendon. Essendon and the team will always be part of our memories and we can wait to make new ones with you all.

We are due to get married in October 2026 but we are over the moon with how professional and welcoming everyone at Coltsfoot have been. Our excitement is immeasurable, and the value for money for everything is so good, not to mention it is an exclusive venue, so we will not have to worry about sharing our special day with anyone else, which will make being in the moment so much easier and no rushing around for photos will be a huge bonus.

From our very first visit, Monks Barn just felt right. We wanted a day that looked elegant yet stayed intimate and informal, so our guests could relax and still feel a little bit wowed. Laura and Sophie understood us straight away and helped shape a day that was traditional where it mattered and full of fun and personality everywhere else. We planned a day of two halves. A heartfelt ceremony first, then a full celebration of our friends, family and our 14 years together. The Monks Barn team ran the logistics so smoothly that we could add layer after layer without stress. Our drag queen host, the brilliant Cherry Bomb, looked after everyone and kept the day flowing. A surprise Kylie tribute had the whole room dancing. There were sing-alongs, inflatables and so many smiles. The photos are magic. We tried colourful smoke flares after a bit of research and a couple of tests. The team helped coordinate everything and kept outfits safe. The result is a set of images we will treasure. Personal moments made it unforgettable. Three close friends spoke during our ceremony instead of readings, and we heard their words for the first time on the day. It was the perfect mix of love and humour. Add great food and impeccable service, and you have a venue that truly delivers. Monks Barn gave us the best day of our lives.
