Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Hertfordshire

We got married here in May 2026 and had the best day of our lives. We originally chose the venue for the setting, food and location, but it was the service from Megan, Charlie and Charlie and the rest of the team that made the day as special as it was. The service they offer is exceptionally well-run and meant we had no qualms or worries on the big day. Not to discount the other aspects - the food was great and the barn looked stunning for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. Highly recommend!!!!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From the moment we started planning right through to the end of our wedding day, the entire team went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to our incredible wedding coordinator, Katie. She was by our side every step of the way, making sure every little detail was taken care of. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made the whole experience completely stress-free. We truly felt looked after from start to finish. We also have to give a special mention to Martin, who was simply amazing. He stood outside in the rain making sure our drinks were never empty and that we were always looked after. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made such a difference to our day and didn’t go unnoticed. Every single member of the team was so welcoming, professional, and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure not only we, but all of our guests, had the most incredible experience. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating unforgettable weddings. We are so grateful for everything you did to make our day so special. Thank you for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place with an exceptional team who truly go above and beyond

I fell in love with the venue and scenery straight away. The staff are all friendly and very accomodating with what we wanted for our wedding theme. Our event manager, Nimah was supportive throughout and made sure what we wanted happened. Bonus staying overnight at their accomodation and having breakfast made for us. The venue can be expensive so I would advise budgeting in advance to save up for the costs but it is worth it by far if you want a tranquil setting for your perfect day.

We had our wedding here at the end of March 2026 and it was THE BEST day (even if the weather wasn't completely on our side). We knew from our first visit this was the perfect place. We were assigned Niamh as our contact who was always on hand to answer all our many many questions. When it came to the day, it was completely stress free. Myself and Bridesmaids got ready in the spacious dressing room which was available from 9am. A few of the onsite rooms were available from 11am ready for the groom etc to prep. Niamh was checking in on us regularly which we really appreciated. In terms of the venue set up, Niamh and the team managed everything, setting up the barns perfectly and even better than we ever imagined. There was plenty of space for all our guests in and across all of the barns (we had about 90 day guests). During the day (and after) we were receiving praise for the venue! Food wise, we chose the 3 course Chicken Roast which was delicious and portions were very generous...we couldn't eat it all! Lots of compliments received. The pizza in the evening also went down well with the guests. Overall, It was truly the best day and we can't thank Niamh and the team enough for making it so special 💛 We didn't want it to end.

We got married on Thursday 11th June and from the moment we viewed Lodge Farm, we knew it was the venue for us. The grounds are absolutely incredible, a big selling point for us was that we were able to stage the wedding ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast in different areas which meant our guests didn’t have any hanging around for turn arounds. Nicki & Liz, supported us from start to finish, nothing was too much as they truly took such control of the day we didn’t have to question a thing. The B&B is incredible. The rooms were perfect and our guests were so well taken care of. I cannot recommend Lodge Farm enough to couples looking for a venue.

We couldn't be happier with The Barn and all the people involved for our big day! From the very first visit, Kay and her team were so warm and welcoming and throughout the entire process they were there to guide us through it. Any emails we sent, or 'silly' questions we would ask, Kay and the team were more than willing to assist. On the day itself, the venue was just perfect. The team ensured everything ran smoothly and always went the extra mile just to make the day a little more special. A fantastic venue with fantastic people to match!

We had our wedding at Essendon Country Club in March 2026, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, the planning process was incredibly organised, which took all the pressure off and made the lead-up to our big day completely stress-free. On the day itself, the entire Essendon Country Club staff were absolutely lovely. They were so helpful and went out of their way to assist with everything, ensuring the whole day ran perfectly smoothly. The venue is beautiful, but it’s the team’s dedication that truly made our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend Essendon to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue!

We honestly cannot recommend The Coltsfoot highly enough. From start to finish, Emma and the entire team went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Despite some unpredictable weather, everything was adapted so seamlessly that you would never have known the original plans had changed. The venue looked stunning, every detail was beautifully set up, and all of our personal touches were placed with such care. The food was incredible and received endless compliments from our guests, the bar team were fantastic, and the accommodation was beautiful and comfortable for everyone who stayed. Most importantly, Emma was amazing throughout the entire process - calm, organised, supportive, and always one step ahead, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We truly felt looked after from beginning to end and couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate such a special day with. Thank you for giving us memories that we'll treasure forever!

A stunning venue with a lot of flexibility. We got married here in June 2026. The weather was sadly not on our side so we didnt get the outdoor drinks reception we'd envisioned. But the team at Ashridge were incredible and made the indoor option an absolutely stunning alternative, to the point where I'm glad the weather went the way it did! Our venue Coordinator was a saint - super professional, friendly, and communicative, and was happy to reply to all of my little questions and meet/call whenever we needed. The catering service was also absolutely perfect and very communicative - we had a lot of guests commenting on how much they loved the food. I would highly recommend this venue. I couldnt have wished for a more perfect day.

Michelle, Bill, Jenny and the team were beyond exceptional and we cannot thank them enough for the day and the whole lead up to it. They were able to offer an extensive list of vendors to connect with including flowers, DJ's, celebrants! They also had the Bridal Suite prepared for us which was absolutely stunning with amazing space for hair and make up to use. The actual venue itself is nothing short of breathtaking beautifully decorated and every area is just gorgeous. Thank you all so so much, I wish I could do it all again
