From the very first time we met Chris and viewed the venue we knew that this was the place that we wanted to get married! The venue itself has lots of space and different areas, allowing your guests to enjoy your day in a way that suits them. Our wedding was booked with the expectation of a sunny day in July, however it rained and rained but the venue coordinator Jo, was quick to think on her feet and amend our plans to ensure that our wedding went ahead without a glitch. I was really impressed with the quick turnaround of the day and how the venue were able to ensure our guests were none the wiser about the set up. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, every room is decorated slightly differently so you have a different experience as you wonder around the house. The orangery where we had our wedding breakfast to me, is the most magical space! Our guest are still talking about how beautiful the settings were. When it comes to the wedding breakfast itself, the food was incredible - restaurant standard! The overall cost of the wedding was so reasonable that we were able to have extras at the wedding that hadn’t initially been thought of. We used the venue DJ and this was probably my only challenge of the day, we’d created a must play and must not play list & the DJ initially ignored this so I had to remind him so that he knew how important the music was. After a conversation this was rectified and he used our list. Chris and the whole team were incredibly kind, friendly & helpful. They make your day feel easy and organised.
