The best wedding venue
We had our wedding reception at Ampfield Golf & Country club and can’t recommend it enough! Paul & his team were great from booking the venue right until the end. We dropped our decor bits off in the morning of the wedding and it was set up perfectly for us when we arrived which can’t thank them enough for. Food was amazing. We had the best night and so did our guests and everyone said how delicious the food was! When we booked our wedding we wanted a no stress reception which is exactly what we got and we are so thankful for everything. Id pick this same venue again and again ✨ -

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding evening! From the very beginning, the planning process was made so easy and stress-free, with Paul and team always happy to help and support our ideas. They really helped bring my vision to life and made everything feel so seamless.
On the evening itself, the staff were fantastic, so friendly, helpful and attentive throughout. It was the perfect place to celebrate our special day with our family and friends, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a memorable evening. Highly recommend! -

We honestly cannot thank the team at Ampfield Golf Course enough for making our wedding day so incredibly special. From the very beginning right through to the end, everything was absolutely perfect.
Paul, Leah and all the girls went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always on hand to help with anything we needed. The food was absolutely incredible, and they even helped us tidy up afterwards — something we really appreciated!
The venue was beautiful, the service was amazing, and the whole team made us feel so looked after throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding.
We would highly recommend Ampfield Golf Course to anyone looking for a wedding venue, and even if you’re just looking to pop in for a drink or a bite to eat, you won’t be disappointed.
Thank you so much for everything and for helping make our wedding day so perfect. We will always remember it fondly. ❤️

Paul and his team were extremely helpful from the day we booked to the day of the ceremony. Helping us through menu choices, recommending a DJ ( Craig at Knightwood….. absolutely brilliant) and just being there for our many questions.
The menu tasting session goes down as one of the best meals we have had
Paul dealt with some late cancellations without any fuss and went out of his way to make things worry free for us when the day arrived.Paul managed everything smoothly and made sure the focus was on us and our guests.
Everyone who attended during the day and in the evening said what a great day it was.
Would I recommend Ampfield? Absolutely.
Was it value for money? 100%

Cannot recommend Paul and his team enough! They were quick to respond to any questions, incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and no enquiry was too much of an ask. They made our wedding evening run so smoothly from start to finish.
The venue was beautiful, already decorated which took the pressure off and there was enough space for both our big families to spread out in to the lovely garden area too.
We had hog roast & pizzas with a few salad bits which were delicious! We'll definitely be returning for dinner and wouldn't hesitate to use this venue again for future events. Thank you to everyone at Ampfield for making our day so special! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wedding 25th June 2026
We cannot thank Paul and his team enough for going above and beyond on our big wedding day, having a wedding in 39 degree heats was never going to be easy but Paul made sure everyone was safe and hydrated always offering water throughout the ceremony, making sure there was some sort of shade for the people who didn’t wanna stay in the sun.
The venue was absolutely perfect for a wedding day with a outside seating area for a bright summers day or even if it was wet and windy we could of had it turned around and put inside but because it was so nice we chose to keep it outside
We chose a BBQ wedding Breakfast which consisted of 3 meats 3 salads and a pudding and everyone absolutely loved it, we chose smoked beef brisket, smoked pork shoulder and Smoked pork ribs with Summer Pasta Salad, Rosemary & Garlic Roasted Potatoes & Spiced Corn on the Cob to finish us off we had Raspberry & White Chocolate Roulade omg this was amazing! and for the evening we had a finger Buffet and pizza buffet for ours and there was so much food no1 went hungry even the staff where fed( we told the staff to eat).
It was a pleasure to have our wedding at Ampfield Golf Club Everyone absolutely loved every minute of it and we cannot thank Paul enough for his hard work with the planning and making the day go exactly the way we wanted it

We chose this venue as it was on the cheaper side, but still a beautiful venue with outdoor space for our ceremony. Inside had lots of natural light, was a decent size and is beautifully decorated. Everyone said the venue was perfect for our day.
Paul and the gang were friendly, professional and accommodated our every need. We didn't need to worry about anything, it was all taken care of. I would definitely recommend this as a wedding venue.
