This 19th-century house is the perfect home away from home for you and your nearest and dearest to celebrate this beautiful union. Feel inspired by the rolling trees and vast landscapes overlooking the lake. Inside you have a grand staircase for welcoming guests, lounge and art room for ceremonies or dining and hidden nooks for some down time.

Having once housed William Wordsworth and National Trust founder Hardwicke Rawnsley, Allan Bank is rich in history. Unlike other significant places of the past, Allan Bank boasts a relaxed space where you can feel at ease. It is a cosy, welcoming spot where you feel comfortable to put your feet up and enjoy.

The grounds include a Billiard Room, a Chapel-like building built in the 1830s for Thomas Dawson. The conservatory was recently restored, and the original stained-glass windows were reinstalled.
