Emily [Ems] the owner, describes herself as a storyteller, passionate graphic designer, and proud female business owner [as well as a mum to teens and a doting dog mum!].

Established in 2021, Heart E Designs creates beautifully considered stationery for couples celebrating across Kent and the UK, with work that is designed for people who value thoughtful detail, personality & meaningful design.

The business is built around the idea that Emily "Tells life and love stories through stationery". She believes stationery is "the glue that holds everything together", helping to set the tone for a wedding and creating a consistent thread through the whole celebration. From the first invitation to the final on-the-day details, her work helps couples tell their story in a way that feels personal, stylish & memorable.

Emily is an artist as well as a graphic designer so some items are drawn from scratch entirely [armed with her late Grandmother’s very own art pencil]. The unapologetically unique and quintessentially British personalised paper-based products created by Emily at Heart E Designs are suitable for not only for Weddings but also for Hens, Engagements, Birthdays, Baby Showers, Christenings, Funerals, Parties, Events and just because...

The ranges now cover everything from Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations to Personalised Vow Booklets, Table Plans, Wedding Menus, Place cards and Guest Books. All to match your theme perfectly! Over the years, Heart E Designs has grown steadily through strong relationships within the local wedding community and through working closely with couples who care deeply about the emotional and visual detail behind their day.

Heart E Designs is a preferred supplier at a number of venues, including The Buttery & Glasshouse, The Orchard, Mount Ephraim, Solton Manor, Leas Cliff Hall, Quex Park, Ferry House Estate, Hayne House, and Lincoln Gardens. This reflects the trust earned within the industry and the confidence that venue teams and suppliers place in her work.

Heart E Designs products have also travelled beyond Kent, featuring at weddings in Italy, Cyprus, Devon, and Dundee. This shows that products are not only valued locally, but are being chosen across the UK and beyond.

Heart E Designs has gained media coverage in various publications, including Your Kent Wedding, A Kentish Ceremony and Wed In Kent Magazines locally and has also been featured in the more international titles: Looker, Fienfh, Lovely, Penida, Moevir, Ellas & Gmaro. Heart E Designs has also been recognised through awards/achievements. As well as being one of Theo Paphitis’ SBS winners, she has also been a KWIBA Runner Up in 2024, and a finalist for Start Up Business in the Canterbury Business Awards in 2024 which is in addition to a strong 5-star Google rating. The icing on the cake this year was being shortlisted for Spring Fair 2027, a really significant milestone for the business!

Products are designed in-house, then professionally manufactured and shipped free to UK addresses. Where possible, water-based inks are used in production and sustainable resources used in printing and packaging.
