Thank you very much to my new father in law, Alan, for his kind words and good wishes.

There will be a few toasts during this speech so please have glasses full and ready!

I would like to start by obviously thanking you all for coming. Today we are joined by most of our friends and family who have been important to us throughout our lives, and my wife & I would like to thank you all for being here with us today. The length many of you have gone to in order to be here today really means a great deal to us both, and it really wouldn't be the same without you all. Thank You.

I would like to thank Jemma's Mum and Dad, Julie and Alan, for accepting and making me feel so welcome into their fantastic family right from day one. I have never had the chance to say thank you properly – so thank you. Thank you also for raising such a beautiful daughter and of course for letting me have her hand in marriage. Her happiness is so important to me and I promise to do you both proud.

Ok now I can't let today go by without thanking my Mum and Dad, for their love and support over the years, and for welcoming Jemma into our family. Over the years they have helped me more than I deserve and they have seen me through thick and thin. They have always been there for me and I hope that I have done them proud.  I really couldn't have asked for a better Mum & Dad, I thank you both for everything that you have done and I love you dearly. Thank you!!

Without both sets of our parents, today really would not have been possible and we both want to say a massive thank you.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please could raise your glasses in a toast to our Mums & Dads “To Our Mums & Dads”

I want to say thank you to Stacey for being a bridesmaid alongside Amy, and I think you'll agree they look lovely today. Stacey has been a friend of Jemma's for many years now, they've been through so much together and I know it means a lot to Jemma to have you as her bridesmaid. I'm sure Stacey would agree with me that when she very first met me in just a pair of boxers on a new year's eve with Jemma many years ago, that she would never have thought that we would be here now getting married! And of course our beautiful little daughter Amy, you look like a little princess. So please can I ask you to raise a toast, “to the bridesmaids”.

Thank you to our ushers Jeff, Nathan and of course our handsome little boy Luke, for doing a great job today, keeping any gate crashers out of the church, and generally helping to make sure today has run so smoothly. Please can you all raise a toast to the usher's.

So now it's onto the most important person here today, my beautiful wife Jemma. I want to thank you for agreeing to marry me and making me the happiest man in the world. I think you will all agree that she looks absolutely stunning today.

Jemma has worked tirelessly for the last 18 months to ensure today is the day that it is. From the firstday that we decided to get married, I have taken a back seat and just let Jemma get on with organising today, and I know it has been stressful for you. I never envisaged that it would be as perfect as it has turned out to be and I just want you to know that you have done an amazing job and I am sure everyone else will agree.

Jemma and I first met working together, and it was during an office party that included free booze all night that we had our first drunken kiss. I simply offered her a glass of Smirnoff Ice in exchange for a quick feel of her boobs, and to my surprise she said yes and here we are now getting married!

Seriously though, I love you so much and I am looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together. You are beautiful, funny, caring and an absolutely amazing mum to Luke and Amy. If I could single out one thing about why I love Jemma so much, it would be that she makes me happier than I thought I could ever be, and I intend on spending the rest of my life making sure she feels the same way about me.

Ladies and Gentlemen would you please raise a toast to my Wife -“To Jemma”

Okay, so now over to my best man, Jay. I would like start by saying a massive thank you for agreeing to be my best man, you have been a great mate for so many years now and you actually helped get me and Jemma together during that works party in the first place! I would also like to say thank you for organising a memorable stag do, being dressed up as SpongeBob and Glenn the biker from the village people around Newcastle City Centre is something I will never forget. I do hope everyone enjoys Jay's speech, and thank you again so much to everyone for coming and we hope you enjoy the rest of the day. Cheers!
