What is The Wedit?
Hiring a wedding content creator is the latest trend for all modern brides and grooms-to-be.
Think of us as your very own personal paparazzi for the day - or like having that friend who never has their phone out of their hand, snapping all of those candid moments and always making sure to get your best angle.
Better yet, you'll be able to relive it all the very next day as you'll receive hundreds (and we mean HUNDREDS) of photos and videos from your big day within 24 hours, as well as Reels to post on Instagram, or trending transitions for TikTok.
It means your bridal party and weddings guests can relax and be present in the moment with you as you tie the knot - plus you'll get to see your guests' faces rather than a load of phones pointing back at you!
As your wedding content creator, we will act as an additional member of your wedding media team. Our role does not replace your professional photographer or videographer. Instead, it's to work alongside them to ensure you don't miss a single moment of your special day.

By hiring us as your wedding content creator, you will receive a shared album filled with all of the photos and videos captured from your wedding the very next day.
They'll be unedited, candid and raw, so you can relive the most important day of your life again but through the eyes of your guests.
And, unlike professional photographers and videographers work, all of that raw content we capture is entirely yours to edit how you please or create your own social media videos with.
Better yet, we'd be more than happy to edit together those modern and trending clips for you to post on your own socials, including Instagram and TikTok - so if there are any bandwagons you want to jump on then, let's do it!
Every package now includes a 90 sec Highlights video of your day.

a few days later we had a call about the type of content she does and what happens on the day and by the end of our phone call I was so happy that I decided to book straight away. Couple weeks later we had our first video meeting & Gemma was poorly. Although she wasn’t well she still went above and beyond in making the arrangements for the day.
On the day of our wedding, Gemma arrived. She was so lovely, friendly & so down to earth.
She knew how to make me and my husband laugh to make good content, took the most amazing raw footage and candid shots.
she did everything we discussed prior.
She worked alongside my photographer on the day and they worked really well together.
In less than 24hrs later she sent me all my raw footage to have a peek at whilst waiting for our final reel. A couple hours went by and I already had it in my inbox.
Everything from beginning to end was just perfect in every way.

Gemma’s creativity and speed blew us away. She managed to capture all the little behind-the-scenes moments, as well as stunning reels and also a TikTok and she delivered them so quickly that we were reliving our wedding almost immediately. Each video was perfectly put together — full of joy, laughter, and emotion — and truly reflected the energy of the day.

Hey! I'm Gemma, founder of The Wedit - one of the UK's first wedding content creator services. I launched the business back in the early part of 2023 after a 10-year career as a journalist at national newspapers and a producer for the BBC. I'm originally from Devon but after moving multiple times, including a stint in New York, I've finally settled in Essex where I live with my husband, our three-year-old son and a crazy toy poodle. I love comedy podcasts, true crime dramas and ending up in TikTok holes.
Hi! I joined The Wedit team as a freelance content creator back in January 2025 and since then I've captured dozens of gorgeous weddings! I've been a lifestyle content creator for over five years and have almost 10k followers on TikTok, where I share daily life, beauty and travel content. I recently bought my first home with my boyfriend of 12 years - and yes, I hope one day soon I will get my ring too! When I'm not at a wedding you'll find me at the beach, baking cakes or hanging out with my friends and family.
