A Godsend - Hire Them!
Both our venue and our caterer came with a 'coordinator', however it ultimately transpired that that didn't really mean anything, as all they would actually do would be responsible for their own team on the day and make sure it went to time, but nothing else (and was definitely not the vision sold to us). So this is where OCs stepped in, coordinating with all our suppliers both before and on the day (we had lots or small unique suppliers), had various planning sessions with us to understand how we wanted the day to be and look, and then on the day they set up all our decor and ensured it came together. This totally removed any stress we were feeling and allowed us to step back, relax and enjoy the day. It was such a relief.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. Jess and her team were all brilliant, really personable and very organised! They understood all the small details and ensured nothing was overlooked, nothing was too much trouble and in fact went above and beyond to give us a fantastic day.
In terms of value for money, I couldn't fault it. In an industry that charges over the odds for anything wedding related, I thought their prices were very, very reasonable and worth every penny.
Book them, you won't regret it.

Right from the get-go, Jess was an amazing support offering so much insight and guidance based on her years of experience in the industry during our inspiration session. There are so many things you wouldn’t think of or consider if event planning isn’t something you do often and Jess being on hand to support us and answer any questions made all the difference.
On the actual day, we were so lucky to have Vicci and Tash as our coordinators. They were INCREDIBLE, there truly aren’t enough words to summarise everything they did for us on the day. They both thought of everything, every single tiny detail was taken care of, right down to making sure we both had a drink in hand, to looking for our missing seat plan sign and most importantly kept the day perfectly on time with all suppliers knowing exactly what to do and where to be. Any asks we had were immediately taken care of and nothing felt like too much, and their attentiveness was unmatched.
Naturally there will be curve balls thrown at you on the day and having both Vicci and Tash meant they were all taken care of, and I didn’t even have to think or worry about them. One example of many, I forgot my bouquet and between Vicci and Tash they sorted everything without any delays or panic, and no one ever knew!
We truly cannot thank Jess, Vicci and Tash enough for executing our vision and allowing us to sit back, truly switch off our planning brains and genuinely really enjoy the day we had planned.

The value OQ added became apparent well in advance of the wedding day. Planning a wedding can be one of the most overwhelming and stressful things you ever undertake - and it was through our discussions with Jess G where we devised a plan, worked out what the best structure to the day was, and identified what decisions or admin were still to be done, that we finally felt in control! Jess G was also so helpful in answering all of our questions and making herself available to chat.
The on-the-day coordination was flawless. I can't imagine the number of suppliers, guests, timetables and tasks that Jess B and the team had to juggle on the day, but they executed everything perfectly! There were so many things, big and small, that the OQs just took in their stride. Whether it was running about picking up items from the hotel, managing guest arrivals and group photos, or how we needed an extra 10-15 minutes for some bride & groom photos, and so Jess and the team helped manage that with all the other suppliers on the fly - it was all handled so competently.
We can't imagine how busy a day it was for Jess and the team but that is exactly what makes their service amazing - me and my husband and all our guests could enjoy our day and have the time of our lives. It completely removed the stress from the best day of our lives!
Our guests were so full of compliments on every aspect of our day and how smoothly it all went, and it felt like absolutely everyone had a blast.
We can't thank the Occasion Queens enough for everything and helping us have the perfect day!

Couldn’t have done it without them
I can’t imagine in this day and age being able to do a wedding without a day of coordinator as you really need a point person. If you were debating hiring one, I would highly recommend it! Look no further than these ladies. They were an integral part of our day and we are so happy we chose them!

Seeing all our plans come together so beautifully was such a joy and it was evident the team were committed to their work, making us absolutely worry-free on the day and able to fully enjoy our celebration.

Not enough words
Absolutely amazing in every way!
My husband and I realised quite soon into the process that we're not exactly cut our for wedding planning - thank goodness we found Nina!! Our inspiration session with her was amazing. It lasted over five hours due to our cluelessness and Nina patiently talked us through every detail of our big day. She gave us a whole host of helpful tips as well as gently challenging some of our more outlandish ideas. I will be forever grateful that she insisted we got a professional photographer rather than relying on relatives!
Despite seeming like the world's busiest human, somehow Nina always managed to reply to our emails remarkably quickly, supporting us fully throughout the run-up. She even did a Zoom call the morning of her holiday to help me work out a seeminly impossible logisical quandry. Nina was really sensitive to our desire to keep costs as low as possible, helping us source affordable but high quality suppliers.
On the big day, Nina and Katie were absolute stars. They worked tirelessly and made sure everything went flawlessly. Every time I needed something one of them was around and having them there made me feel happy and relaxed. Everyone loved them. They were positive, helpful and caring and it felt more as though they were friends than suppliers. I really wish they could run my life for me!
I honestly couldn't recommend Nina and her team more. I'm not really sure how they do what they do so well, but they're pretty magical!

Leading up to our wedding Nina was available to answer any questions that I had and she put my mind at ease.
We had a festival wedding, which was very full on, Nina and her team worked tirelessly all day and into late evening, to ensure that our day was everything that we’d hoped that it would be, and it was even better than we could have ever imagined thanks to OQ.

On our wedding day Nina led all the preparations. It was not an easy challenge considering we had two venues at opposite ends of London but Nina handled everything seamlessly. It was such a magical day and we could not have pulled it off without her.
