The decision to not miss out anymore on spending the rest of our lives together got crystallized only a month before the wedding. It is a culmination of a 39 year old love story. We never truly thought that after so many years in between, other relationships through the years, and living on two sides of the ocean ... that any chance of us coming together, much less be wed, was written in the stars. But having reconnected in November 2019 confirmed to us that there was still that very strong connection .. and it made our decision fast and firm to go for it. We knew and felt it was finally our time. I, Cami (68 yrs), has been married and widowed before, but my husband wasn't. It was going to be his first time. So I knew it had to be something really special. Well he chose the date to be on his 70th birthday, and that heightened the pressure. I knew I had to involve the Best Wedding Planner available. I scoured the internet, read lots of reviews from different providers and when I got to Carsten and Lena, both thumbs went high up! Contacting Lena was smooth, the responses came in fast and clearly, the timetable given just perfect, and the cost - dreamy! I even took Lena to confidence to help me put together a huge surprise for my Jens's birthday on our wedding day. I knew he was not thinking of a birthday celebration at all... but being that it is a round number, plus he chose our big day on same day... I had to think of something special. Lena and Carsten did everything I requested, gave superb suggestions, and kept everything on the down low. All these took place before we even met the first time. We chose a garden romantic setting and we were simply pampered--- we were picked up from the hotel, brought to the location which fit perfectly what we wanted, champagne was flowing, cameras clicking, zoom setup ready so people we have invited from four continents could witness our union, and all three of them... Carsten, Lena, and Watham, our assigned photographer... were all hands and feet for us to execute everything perfectly. Even our Registrar who also wed us helped in all ways possible, and kept our spirits up and entertained! IT WAS FABULOUS!! We can never thank Lena and Carsten enough for bending backwards to make our wedding day a 'superb senior wedding for the books', doing extra steps to make my love's birthday also unforgettable (and did not even charge extra at all, even gifted the gift, wow!), made us feel really special, and simply flowed with us as we became more playful during the whole ceremony. We are forever grateful and already plan to go back to Nordic Adventure Wedding for Renewing our Vows in the near future! Thank you Lena and Carsten for making us truly happy on our Big Day.
