Firstly, I like to preface this review with the fact that although I may have slipped slightly into the 'Bridezilla' territory, Freya at Georgina Rose Events was the absolute life saver of the day and thanks to her, we had the BEST day we could have ever dreamed of.

After being a fad of the podcast and hearing Georgina speak at the Wedding Show, I was keen to get Georgina Rose Events on our team for our special day!

Our wedding day (6th Oct 2025) has sadly now passed, but we are so glad we had Freya with us on the day to make sure every little detail went as we had planned! Freya ran around like crazy all day, helping to move our floral installation, spraying our room spray over a 4-floored venue, making sure Groomsmen, Grandads and Mums all had their florals pinned properly, kept everyone on time, spent a wild 10 mins trying everything to get my veil in place perfectly JUST before I walked down the aisle after my hair stylist had left, forgetting to pop it in along with much much more that would be too boring to list (wed be here all day!).

I have no idea how she managed it, but she even found time to put together the sweetest video of little moments throughout the day showing all the people we love and shared such special moments with. This is something we can treasure forever! As we chose not to hire a videographer, this little touch has made such a huge impact on us and has meant so much to us!

Freya was so thoughtful and attentive throughout the day - a special moment that stands out to us is where she suggested our band play a backing instrumental while our MC announced the plans for the evening reception. This may seem a simple suggestion, but Freya had listened to us during our pre-wedding meetings ad truly understood us as a couple, suggesting that the instrumental of choice be Johnny Cash song. Not only are we huge country fans, we also chose a sweet message written by Johnny Cash to his wife June Carter Cash as one of our readings during the ceremony.

This attention to detail, patience and understanding really made us feel heard, understood and felt like more than just another client!

If all that waffle wasn't enough to convince you that you need Georgina Rose Events for your special day, I really don't know what will.. and if you don't...to be honest... you absolutely WILL regret it!

From a 2025 Bride to any future Bride x

We booked Freya from GRE to be our independent coordinator on the day. My husband didn’t understand why I wanted to book GRE… but his view quickly changed when Freya was on hand with a safety pin to save his trousers zip malfunction 😂 we have no idea how Freya managed to be in all the right places at the right times, we truly didn’t need to worry about anything.
This was totally echoed by our families who couldn’t be more thankful for Freya.
I had one bridesmaid who was also the mum to 2 of my 5 year old flower girls, so I knew I needed someone else on hand. Just and handful of things Freya helped with without even being asked:
- getting my dress down and ready for me to step into whilst everyone else was busy getting themselves sorted
- putting my stockings on my that I forgot to do before getting into my dress 😂
- button holes on for mums & men
- doing my dress up after my mum struggled
- fixing my hair in the wind
- making sure we eat & drink
- running up several flights of stairs to collect my wedding cardi that I totally forgot about but we’re perfect for our sunset photos (Freya’s idea to fetch!)
- handing out glow sticks & glasses after the first dance… without Freya doing that, I have no doubt they wouldn’t have been touched, but thanks to Freya, they were in use all night!
- creating the most perfect and unexpected video for us that brought on many happy tears!
Everything ran perfectly and we had the day of our dreams, couldn’t have asked for anything more.

We booked Georgie as our wedding day coordinator but she has 3 different packages to tailor each persons needs.
During the prep to the wedding she was super helpful and made sure to give us great advice on our meetings.
During the day we had the pleasure to also get to know Freya which was a sweetheart and extra help.
They made sure everthing was running smooth and timings were followed. They took a weight of our shoulders so we could enjoy the day rather than worry about anything.
Best decision!

We don't have many pictures with them as they are known for hiding in professional pictures but they helped us throughout the whole day and made sure the table dash pictures looked great.

Georgie was just absolutely incredible on not just just our wedding day but the lead up too. Nothing was too much of an issue and was always there to help with anything no matter how small or big the issue was. On the day we didn’t have to think about anything at all as Georgie was always one step ahead making sure we had what we needed and were where we needed to be. She maximised our time we spent with our guests and we ensured the day ran perfectly. We honestly couldn’t of done it with her, we have had so many people comment on how seamless the day was and it was all down to having an incredible wedding coordinator with us.
If anyone is thinking about hiring an external wedding coordinator, do it!! We didn’t see our venue coordinator pretty much all day and if we hadn’t had Georgie we wouldn’t of known what was going on half the day!

When we started wedding planning, we were excited but also overwhelmed by the time and effort it would take to bring our dream wedding to life. Having witnessed the stress of last-minute crises at other people’s weddings, we knew we wanted a wedding planner to make the process smoother and more enjoyable. I had been a long time listener of The Unfiltered Bride podcast, so reaching out to Georgie and her team felt like the natural choice—and it was the best decision we made.
From the very start, Georgie and her team were an absolute joy to work with. The groom was initially worried that wedding planning would be all about the bride, but that was never the case—it was always about us as a couple. They truly understood our vision and made sure every decision reflected both of us. Whether it was sourcing venue options, recommending suppliers, or creating beautifully curated mood boards, nothing was ever too big or too small for them.
Charlotte became our dedicated planner and on-the-day coordinator, and she was an absolute godsend. She was incredibly flexible with meetings, provided invaluable advice, and as the wedding day approached, she was just as excited and invested in it as we were. On the day itself, Charlotte was everywhere—anticipating every need, solving problems before we even knew they existed, and making sure everything ran flawlessly. She coordinated with all our suppliers seamlessly, worked effortlessly with the venue team, and ensured that every little detail was in place. She made sure that the bridal and grooms parties were happy alongside the extended family and that everything ran perfectly to time. From helping the bride with her dress to supporting the bride’s father with his tie, to making sure everyone had their buttonholes and corsages and stepping in when the groomsman forgot to hand out the confetti—she truly did it all.
She wasn’t just a wedding planner; she was like a second Maid of Honour, always one step ahead, making sure we actually got to enjoy our day. Thanks to her, we got to soak in special moments—playing mini golf, listening to the harpist, speaking to our guests, and just being present—without worrying about a thing. Charlotte managed all the group photos like a pro, hyped up our guests, and made sure everything felt effortless. She handled so many behind-the-scenes issues that we didn’t even know about until after the wedding, and we are so incredibly grateful for that.
If you’re considering hiring Georgina Rose Events, DO IT! It was, without a doubt, the best decision we made for our wedding. Charlotte gave us a stress-free, magical day that we will cherish forever. We cannot recommend Georgie and her team highly enough!

Whatever I say about Georgie will not be enough. During our wedding planning I had read multiple reviews from other couples saying that she was the best investment they ever made and I didn't understand what they meant until our day arrived.

I am a person that gets stressed very easily so I expected that on the day I would be a wreck. But how wrong was I? From the minute Georgie arrived, I knew she would handle everything and that she was my eyes and ears for the day. Even though we had not met in person until that moment, it felt like I had known her for ages and that I could trust her with anything.

I didn't need to worry about communicating with all our other suppliers as Georgie had it all in hand. Even with our dog walker who had taken a wrong turn and added an extra hour to her journey which I didn't find out until later

She helped with any task you can imagine. Some examples from our day were arranging first looks, making sure the timing to enter the ceremony was right,to help me get ready, to gather guests for our wedding photos, to make sure we didn’t miss out on our Canapés, to make sure everything was where it should be, to help coordinate our confetti and sparkler shots, to make sure everything was on time where possible and even ran around in circles with a smoke flare to make sure we got the perfect smokey photo at night! She even taught us how to dip! The list goes on and on and this is only some of the stuff I was there for. From the moment she arrived, you felt she was in multiple places at the same time

Only a couple of small things went wrong on the day and I truly believe that this was because of Georgie, as so much stuff could have gone wrong. She is an absolute superwoman and we can't thank her enough for making sure that everything was even better than we could ever imagine

We booked our entire day around Georgie’s availability and we are so glad we did as we feel the day would have been very different

I have two pieces of advice:
Book Georgie (even before your venue as believe me she will be that important to your day)
Make sure you make notes of everything you want done to your day and share it with her so that she knows exactly what you need from her on the day

Georgie, me and Dan will never be able to thank you enough! Keep doing what you do best… making our days as perfect as they should be!

I don’t have enough words to thank Beth for everything she did as coordinator for our wedding. I have a tendency to be a bit of a control freak but the entire day I didn’t have to worry or even think about a thing as Beth was already on it, making everything run perfectly and being there to help with things before I even knew it was necessary. She was calm, fun, thorough and even our guests absolutely loved her and commented on how brilliant she was. I don’t know what we would have done without her, she made our wedding the epic celebration it was and kept me sane! If you are unsure whether or not to hire a coordinator, do it! You will not regret it! Thank you for everything, Beth.

Charlotte removed so much stress and was simply amazing. I was on the fence about a day off coordinator, I have zero regrets and I can see how past weddings I’ve attended needed Charlotte/Georgina there to make it all perfect

We hired Georgie to be our day coordinator, as I was a type A bride who needed someone to take all of the plans that I had made and make sure that they go ahead without any issues or stress. From our first meeting, it was clear that she has a love of weddings with enough experience to help with any issue that may occur. During our first meeting, we discussed an issue we were having with some timings of the day where she gave solutions right off the top of her head (a solution that many guests said was a highlight of the wedding). Throughout the whole process of wedding planning, she was very easy to contact with a quick response each time and was able give give any help or advice that was needed. On our wedding day, she was fabulous when she first arrived she introduced herself to everyone who would need to know who she was and had a small briefing with our photographer and videographer to explain what the timings of the day were. For us, she was definitely the best investment we made for our wedding day and can’t thank her enough, she really did make our wedding day the best day ever.

Hiring Georgie was literally the best purchase we made for our wedding day. She saved it. Anything that went wrong she sorted out and half the time we didn’t know about it. She allowed our day to run smoothly and be as perfect as it could be. Without her our entire day would have been a different experience- filled with more stress and worry.

She allowed us to enjoy our entire day. An absolute god send. She is also just the most lovely person, it was like we had invited another friend to our wedding day! Couldn’t recommend her enough!

We booked Georgie’s wedding crasher package and I’m SO pleased we did. She made sure our day ran exactly how we wanted it to, solved any and all challenges that came up during the day, and quite simply made sure we had the best day of our lives.
