Specialising in on-the-day coordination, I'll be your right-hand woman, making sure everything happens exactly as you had planned. This will allow you to relax and fully embrace every moment of your special day, knowing that the finer details are being taken care of.

Based in Gloucestershire but can cover the whole of the UK and beyond!

Whether you're planning a marquee wedding in your parents' garden, a barn or a DIY venue - I've got you covered.

After an initial chat to discuss your wedding plans so far, we'll then arrange a catch-up meeting around 6 weeks before the wedding, where you can then 'hand over' your suppliers to me and let me do the final liaising, allowing you to enjoy those final few weeks before the big day. I will then arrive at your venue in the morning to ensure everything is set up as planned, meet your suppliers, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Here are just a few of the things I'll take care of:

  • Liaising with your suppliers during the final lead-up to the day
  • Creating a detailed timeline of the day
  • Help with setting up the finishing touches on the morning of the wedding
  • Making announcements on the day where needed
  • Helping with the turnaround of rooms - from ceremony to dinner to dancing!
  • Controlling the music for the day where needed
  • Taking extra care with friends or relatives who struggle with mobility so they don't miss anything important!
  • Attaching button holes, helping with the dress and making sure your bouquets get put into vases later on in the day
  • Assisting the photographer with gathering certain groups of guests for photos to make better use of your photographer's time
  • Lighting candles, encouraging guests to sign the guest book, replenishing the sweet bar!
  • Helping the catering team and other suppliers on the day where needed
  • Being the dedicated point of contact on the day
  • Discrete handling of any issues that may arise on the day

Mel is a wonderful human being and super professional

My husband and I recently had the absolute pleasure of Mel helping us to plan and coordinate our wedding and celebrations.

I cannot recommend Mel highly enough; we had regular check ins before hand and Mel was always happy to give supplier recommendations and advice on things like timings. In the run up to the wedding she took over all the final check ins which meant we had a lovely and super relaxed run in to the day. On the day itself she was an absolute god-send …. I’ve actually got no idea if there were any problems or issues because Mel just had everything under control … everything ran on time , super smoothly, people were in the right place at the right time and everything looked absolutely stunning - exactly how I imagined it. BUT all of that was done without feeling over managed, pressured or over the top - Mel just worked in the background to ensure the day was exactly what we hoped for.

We cannot thank Mel enough for everything she did - absolutely the best decision we made was booking her and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else.

The most important piece of our wedding puzzle

If I have one tip for any future bride, it’s to hire an external wedding co-ordinator, and if I’m being specific, the wedding co-ordinator you NEED is Mel.

We chose to have Mel’s support for the on the day co-ordination, but her support and advice started from the moment we had our first call with her (about 10 months out from our wedding). As someone who likes to be all over small details, this gave me so much comfort.

In the 2 month lead up to the wedding day, Mel went took the time to go through how we would like our wedding day to go, touching on every detail you could imagine in an easy, conversational, (not overwhelming) way, which made me an uncharacteristically chilled out bride. She rung around all of our suppliers ahead of the day to confirm the details and timings with them too. This was particularly useful as in the 2 week buildup, it gets busy, without even factoring in the need to touch base with all of the suppliers.

As someone who is a clock watcher, Mel made sure that the day ran perfectly to time, with every detail (and trust me when I say I had a whole list of details) executed perfectly along the way.

Mel is such a relaxed but super efficient person, and the whole day was here, there and everywhere with a smile the whole time.

Take this as your sign to book with Mel - she was by far the most important piece of our wedding puzzle, as she was the reason my husband and I were so relaxed and able to just have fun, knowing she had everything covered.

Made our dreams come true

Hiring Mel to help with our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made. Throughout the process she was on hand to help with all our questions and made us feel reassured when needed. She took over all communication with our suppliers and allowed us both to just ENJOY the day! No ask was too big, we didn't have to worry about a single thing which was such a luxury after months of planning. I would highly recommend Mel to anyone, she is a calm presence and a delight to work with! Thank you so much Mel.

Don't hesitate to book Mel!

We never really thought about booking a wedding coordinator in addition to the venue as I also work in events, but working with Mel was the best decision we ever made! We met Mel at our venue's open day and instantly connected with her - she is so friendly and calm - exactly the type of vibe you need on the day and in all the planning beforehand. Mel has amazing attention to detail and suggested things along the way we hadn't even thought of. On the day, Mel was outstanding and everything went absolutely perfectly particularly as we were going between two locations. Mel goes above and beyond to make sure your day is exactly how you want it - our venue made a mistake and didn't get any 0% prosecco for the top table as some of the party didn't drink, so Mel drove to a nearby shop to buy two bottles! Little things like that made all the difference, we can't thank Mel enough for her expertise, kindness and efficiency - don't hesitate to book Mel, she will make sure your day is perfect. We just wish we could do another big party to work with Mel again!
