Lydia arrived in the morning whilst getting ready and it was like she was our pal just coming round for a coffee. From the moment we reached out to her, she felt like an old friend, helping us with our day. So much knowledge and wisdom, Lydia is much more than a photographer. She understands people, relationships, weddings, and photography (obviously!). Working with her was truly wonderful, and easy. We were planning a very relaxed wedding and our venue shut around 3 months before the wedding, she was there for me listening to me vent, and she was so relaxed, providing suggestions of other venues and just being real, agreeing how crappy the situation was! We had a couple of catch ups in the lead up, discussing the day, and photography plan of action, she had it all mapped out with us not having to remember anything. On the day, she was wonderful, and I'm glad to have had her by our side in the morning, and then throughout the wedding. She easily fit in with guests feeling so at ease with her, thinking she was one of our friends! The next morning, Lydia sent through our previews, hungover and tired, I cried, the photos are magic, and Lydia is gold!
