Larmer Tree was the wedding venue of our dreams – and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we booked, Lauren, our coordinator, went above and beyond to make our day truly unforgettable. She was incredibly responsive, attentive to every detail, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks to her support and dedication, our day ran flawlessly and felt absolutely perfect from start to finish.

The on-site caterers, Forking Out, were equally outstanding – the food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests.

We first met Lauren at the Larmer Tree wedding fair in January, and we instantly knew this was the venue for us. From that moment, Amy, our coordinator, and the rest of the team — Lauren, Francesca, and Hannah — made planning joyful and seamless. Amy was incredible, supporting every quirky idea, coordinating live music, and making us feel completely at ease, while the team ensured every detail was perfect.

On the day, the gardens and buildings amazed us — full of nooks, crannies, and roaming peacocks, giving guests so much space to explore. It felt like a holiday with friends and family, and we even hosted a scavenger hunt across the grounds. The food from Forkingout was unreal — 10/10 for cooking such quality for 80 people! Guests have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended.

Staying at King John’s House on the Rushmore Estate made the weekend even more special. Between the stunning venue, extraordinary team, and unforgettable food, our wedding was perfect — and we love that we can return to the gardens to relive those magical memories.

What a unique and fantastic venue. We knew as soon as we saw it, this would be the wedding venue for us. The whole process did not disappoint, from Lauren and the team helping us plan, to the big day itself. Absolutely fantastic day and we would recommend the venue to anyone.

Larmer Tree is stunning. We had the loveliest day celebrating with our family and friends. Everything was perfect, from the setting, to the delicious food, and the team, who were on hand to help us throughout our planning journey and on the day making sure everything ran smoothly. They thought of everything, so we could just enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend!

Beautiful gardens, indoor spaces, temples, stages, even the toilets were immaculate! We feel very lucky to have found this place and experienced such a wonderful day here. Lauren was excellent as our planner, a really big help in the months before and during the day. and Forking Out's catering was really high standard - we might not have gone so high end of it wasn't for the relationship with the venue but it was totally worth it. All our guests loved the place and I'm sure will visit again in the future!

We recently had our winter wedding at Larmer Tree Gardens, and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical venue. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings, which provided the perfect backdrop for a festive and romantic celebration. The historic architecture, twinkling fairy lights, and beautifully kept gardens made for an enchanting winter wonderland—an ideal setting for a Christmas wedding.

A huge shoutout to Amy, our coordinator, who was absolutely incredible. From the early planning stages to the big day itself, she was always on hand to answer questions, offer advice, and ensure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and calm, reassuring presence meant we could truly relax and enjoy our day, knowing everything was in expert hands.

The food, provided by Forking Out, was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with guests still raving about it long after the wedding. They were also incredibly accommodating, tailoring the menu to suit our preferences and ensuring that every dietary requirement was met without any fuss.

What made the day even more special was how well the venue lent itself to a winter wedding. The cozy, festive atmosphere was enhanced by the beautiful indoor spaces, warm lighting, and the magical feel of the gardens, even in the colder months. Our guests loved exploring the venue, and it made for some breathtaking photos.

We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to celebrate with our family and friends. If you’re considering a winter or Christmas wedding, Larmer Tree Gardens is truly perfect. The combination of the stunning setting, exceptional staff, and delicious food made our day unforgettable. We wish we could do it all over again!

We always loved Larmer Tree Gardens since we started going to the music festival in the early 2010s. When it came to choosing a venue, this was always top of our list for its beautiful grounds and the resident peacocks!

What we didn't expect was the fantastic wedding planning service that the venue also provided. We had Amy and then Sinead from Larmer Tree who were both warm, helpful and responsive. Nothing was too complex to organise and they helped us think through our day, the decorations, logistics and more.

The catering was provided by Forking Out which is Larmer Tree's selected supplier. The tasting was fabulous and we were allowed to bring up to 4 guests with us.

On the day, Sinead helped organise everyone - from the bridal party to the suppliers to the guests. She also helped us with our decorations that had to be put out on the day which really helped alleviate our already full plates. We didn't have to think about logistics at all given Sinead was there throughout the day, up until late evening.

We would highly recommend Larmer Tree if you're looking for a unique wedding location.

My husband and I will forever be grateful that we booked The Larmer Tree to host our wedding, on 6th November 2024. As soon as we visited the venue for one of their supplier open days and to meet the team for the first time, we absolutely knew that this is where we would get married. Our wedding coordinator Sinead was incredible from start to finish, very passionate about her job, and very intelligent and confident in her role. As Sinead had also gotten married there, it was like she knew the place like the back of her hand. There wasn't a single moment where we felt at a loss, and she was with us every step of the way (even when I was running 20 minutes late!) It was an absolute pleasure working with and getting to know her, and we will forever be grateful to have her on our side. The rest of the team were incredibly on the ball with ensuring that everything was uptogether and it was amazing working with them.

This is truly a day that we will remember forever. We had the best day and I would recommend The Larmer Tree to anyone looking for the perfect venue to host their wedding. It is picturesque, quirky, and truly memorable.

We had the most perfect wedding day at the Larmer Tree Gardens. Planning the wedding from abroad, we were slightly concerned with everything working to plan and our vision coming to life given we could only visit the venue once before the wedding. Amy, our wedding coordinator, ensured everything went to plan - she was calm and reassuring, exceptionally organised and good fun to be around. The team at forking out provided perfect food, including catering for a variety of different dietary requirements and not one person got the wrong meal! Everyone said the food was delicious.

Absolutely superb day on all counts. This is a wonderfully beautiful setting with amazing staff and a brilliant wedding coordinator (Sinead) who ensured that our special day exceeded even our own expectations. Al of our guests have commented on the wonderful setting and atmosphere generated by this venue.

The luscious and verdant Larmer Tree Gardens has a magical and majestic feel. Picturesque peacocks preen, terrific temples tantalise and a wide range of garden games delight! The show-stopping stage acted as the perfect backdrop for our wedding reception and we strongly recommend the acoustic duo and band from Neon State who set the tone and the acoustic guitarist and singer Leigh Coleman who played perfectly through dinner and for golden hour outside. It goes without saying that Amy- our coordinator - was a total legend throughout the process and massively on the day, as was the entire team, always helping efficiently and effectively. They really are stellar professionals and you couldn’t be in better hands. The week run-up couldn’t have been easier thanks to them- guests kept on commenting that we were so relaxed; A M Y that three letter word was our reason!! Forking Out’s canapés were delectable and the Pavilion Feast was truly delectable and had the added benefit of encouraging interaction from guests. Our phenomenal florist down the road, Mollie and the team at Pamplemousse knew just how to dress the pavilion to perfection; phenomenal gypsophila clouds floated above our heads, divine delphiniums flanked the table ends and romantic, rustic posies festooned the tables. Paul Underhill, our photographer, captured the day exquisitely and Harry Fynn created a genius video which reflected the energy and dynamism of the day. If you’re searching for an idyllic, unique and memorable venue, look no further, we couldn’t have had a better wedding day! Huge thanks to all involved.

If you are looking for an outstanding all round wedding venue then look no further than Larmer Tree! We got married there on the 23 May 2024 and had the best day ever. We found the venue online and came for a visit where we immediately fell in love with the location and Larmer Tree Team. Amy showed us around the venue and made us feel like the only couple getting married there this year. She was very friendly and professional which made us feel at ease immediately. We then attended the very informative wedding fayre where we selected a number of our suppliers for the wedding.

When we committed to Larmer Tree we knew we had made the right choice. In the run up to the wedding Amy was attentive and understanding and made sure nothing was too much to ask for. On the day of the wedding Larmer Tree looked beautiful. All of our guests were impressed with the lovely gardens and the attentive staff. We got married in front of the lovely Roman temple and had canapés on the lawn before heading inside for a delicious wedding breakfast. Larmer Tree only allow you to use the Forkingout caterers for the wedding breakfast. Don’t be alarmed they are brilliant. They serve delicious food and all our guests were blown away by the main course and desserts. The Larmer Tree team were brilliant all day, checking in on us and making sure everything was ok for our special day.

There was a hiccup where the registrar had forgot about our wedding. Amy called Wiltshire ceremonies office asked where they were before the ceremony started. Had Amy not done this we may not have got married at all. The registrar arrived an hour later and we carried on with the day but we are so grateful to Amy for contacting them. Throughout the rest of the day the Larmer Tree team ensured everything ran smoothly and made sure we were as relaxed as possible. A brilliant thing is Larmer Tree also pack up everything so in the morning everything is boxed up and ready to go.

The Larmer Tree, what an absolute first class service we had in the lead up to our wedding and on the day. We We had The Best Day. The grounds were stunning, the set up and marquee were beautiful, the food and service from Forking Out was excellent. Every member of our wedding party loved the day, it was relaxed, joyous and seemless. I doubt words can truly express how lovely the day was. We stayed both the night before and wandered the grounds to plan our wedding photographs. Liason with others provider was again excellent. On the day the running of the event was seemless and so very relaxed. Thank you Larmer Tree we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you.

The venue itself is so unique and special, however what truly made our experience exceptional was the amazing team that work there. We were so lucky to have Francesca as our wedding coordinator. Larmer Tree was absolutely the right choice for us for our wedding. Our coordinator, Amy, went above and beyond to help us with everything leading up to the wedding. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer - even when it was 2 weeks before the wedding and I sent her a mile-long email full of last-minute questions! The venue is so beautiful and surrounded by so much greenery and nature, it doesn't matter what the weather is it will be stunning regardless. The staff were able to transform our outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony at a moments notice when the weather was not going to be in our favour - and it was just as beautiful.
