We had our perfect wedding day at Larmer Tree this summer, and couldn’t be happier about the whole process in the months and years running up to it! The venue had been on my Pinterest Board for years, and fortunately when my husband and I went to go see it, we just fell in love 🥰 we’re at a stage of life where many of our friends are getting married, often hearing some horror stories about poor planners and lack of communication from their venues- but we’ve truly felt so blessed at how seamless and organised all of the coordinators and lovely team at Larmer Tree have been. Time and time again we were struck by how calm and methodical Amy, Lauren, Francesca and the whole team were, making the entire day run like magic behind the scenes! All of our guests have echoed the same, saying just how beautiful the grounds and the venue is - but also how kind and thoughtful all the people that make it run are as well. If you’re thinking of getting married, there’s no better place than Larmer 🌳

It's an absolutely stunning venue! It's a truly unique space and they really know how to make the most of it. Everything ran perfectly on the day thanks to the great team here. Lauren was great at helping us get settled when dropping off decorations the day before too.

The Larmer Tree was the only venue we viewed for our wedding - we knew it was the one. The venue is stunning, the team working here are incredibly helpful and there’s free roaming peacocks. Amy was our wedding coordinator and was such an amazing help to us throughout our planning journey and on the big day, always happy to answer our questions and was such a calm presence on an emotional day. The food provided by Forking Out was beautiful and all of our guests noted how attentive the team were with filling up glasses etc, the food tasting was a lovely day and we sat with the chef and spoke in depth about what we wanted and how to bring in our heritage/culture to the meal,
I wouldn’t change a thing and might do it all again just for fun!

Communication was so quick, no question was made to feel silly. The day was perfect - Amy was always present even when you couldn’t see her, I wouldn’t change a thing!

We knew from the moment we entered the gates that it was the venue for us, and this was only made even more obvious when we got on so well with Amy, our wedding co-ordinator aka Super Star!

The stunning grounds and buildings provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding, and is also a beautiful place that we can go back to for anniversaries etc, which is a brilliant bonus!

Amy's super friendly, approachable manner meant that even the smallest of questions never felt like a hassle. Responses were regular and very informed, with the other lovely ladies replying when Amy was out of office.

Great value for money for how much of a service you receive and the beautifully kept grounds that you have exclusive access to.

We first found Larmer Tree Gardens when we got engaged 4 years ago. Ever since we saw the venue we knew we wanted to get married there, and on 30/03/26 it finally happened. Larmer Tree is the most stunning venue in our eyes and all of our guests thought so too!

We would like to say a special thank you to the larmer tree team, especially Francesca, for making the whole process run so smoothly from start to finish. Every question and query we had was answered and solved, each meeting we had was so beneficial and helpful. Francesca took all of our stress away with her expertise in the industry! She knew exactly what to do without a shadow of a doubt.

On the day we were looked after so well, we were fed and watered and Francesca dealt with any issues that arose so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We are so grateful as this made our special day fantastic knowing the only thing we had to do was enjoy ourselves.

We will definitely be returning to the grounds for some of their many spectacular events that they hold!

We got married at Larmer Tree Gardens in May 2025, and it was absolutely the best day of our lives! We had always dreamed of getting married at Larmer Tree Gardens, so when we got engaged it was the only place we considered. Everything in the planning process was faultless - from our amazing wedding coordinator Francesca (who was always on hand to answer any questions), to the fantastic tasting day with Forking Out to choose our wedding food, from start to finish it was incredible. The day itself was truly indescribable, and we became a married couple at the Roman Temple. The gardens were beautiful, and the singing theatre was the perfect backdrop for our photos. We had our speeches at the Lower Indian Room which was so special, and the Jubilee Hall was perfect to dance the night away in. We constantly receive feedback from people saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and 8 months later people are still talking about it! We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day, and Larmer Tree Gardens was the most magical, unique venue for our special day ❤️ We wish we could re-live the day all over again!

We first met Lauren at the Larmer Tree wedding fair in January, and we instantly knew this was the venue for us. From that moment, Amy, our coordinator, and the rest of the team — Lauren, Francesca, and Hannah — made planning joyful and seamless. Amy was incredible, supporting every quirky idea, coordinating live music, and making us feel completely at ease, while the team ensured every detail was perfect.

On the day, the gardens and buildings amazed us — full of nooks, crannies, and roaming peacocks, giving guests so much space to explore. It felt like a holiday with friends and family, and we even hosted a scavenger hunt across the grounds. The food from Forkingout was unreal — 10/10 for cooking such quality for 80 people! Guests have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended.

Staying at King John’s House on the Rushmore Estate made the weekend even more special. Between the stunning venue, extraordinary team, and unforgettable food, our wedding was perfect — and we love that we can return to the gardens to relive those magical memories.

What a unique and fantastic venue. We knew as soon as we saw it, this would be the wedding venue for us. The whole process did not disappoint, from Lauren and the team helping us plan, to the big day itself. Absolutely fantastic day and we would recommend the venue to anyone.

The on-site caterers, Forking Out, were equally outstanding – the food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests.

Beautiful gardens, indoor spaces, temples, stages, even the toilets were immaculate! We feel very lucky to have found this place and experienced such a wonderful day here. Lauren was excellent as our planner, a really big help in the months before and during the day. and Forking Out's catering was really high standard - we might not have gone so high end of it wasn't for the relationship with the venue but it was totally worth it. All our guests loved the place and I'm sure will visit again in the future!

We recently had our winter wedding at Larmer Tree Gardens, and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical venue. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings, which provided the perfect backdrop for a festive and romantic celebration. The historic architecture, twinkling fairy lights, and beautifully kept gardens made for an enchanting winter wonderland—an ideal setting for a Christmas wedding.

A huge shoutout to Amy, our coordinator, who was absolutely incredible. From the early planning stages to the big day itself, she was always on hand to answer questions, offer advice, and ensure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and calm, reassuring presence meant we could truly relax and enjoy our day, knowing everything was in expert hands.

The food, provided by Forking Out, was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with guests still raving about it long after the wedding. They were also incredibly accommodating, tailoring the menu to suit our preferences and ensuring that every dietary requirement was met without any fuss.

What made the day even more special was how well the venue lent itself to a winter wedding. The cozy, festive atmosphere was enhanced by the beautiful indoor spaces, warm lighting, and the magical feel of the gardens, even in the colder months. Our guests loved exploring the venue, and it made for some breathtaking photos.

We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to celebrate with our family and friends. If you’re considering a winter or Christmas wedding, Larmer Tree Gardens is truly perfect. The combination of the stunning setting, exceptional staff, and delicious food made our day unforgettable. We wish we could do it all over again!

We always loved Larmer Tree Gardens since we started going to the music festival in the early 2010s. When it came to choosing a venue, this was always top of our list for its beautiful grounds and the resident peacocks!

What we didn't expect was the fantastic wedding planning service that the venue also provided. We had Amy and then Sinead from Larmer Tree who were both warm, helpful and responsive. Nothing was too complex to organise and they helped us think through our day, the decorations, logistics and more.

The catering was provided by Forking Out which is Larmer Tree's selected supplier. The tasting was fabulous and we were allowed to bring up to 4 guests with us.

On the day, Sinead helped organise everyone - from the bridal party to the suppliers to the guests. She also helped us with our decorations that had to be put out on the day which really helped alleviate our already full plates. We didn't have to think about logistics at all given Sinead was there throughout the day, up until late evening.

We would highly recommend Larmer Tree if you're looking for a unique wedding location.

My husband and I will forever be grateful that we booked The Larmer Tree to host our wedding, on 6th November 2024. As soon as we visited the venue for one of their supplier open days and to meet the team for the first time, we absolutely knew that this is where we would get married. Our wedding coordinator Sinead was incredible from start to finish, very passionate about her job, and very intelligent and confident in her role. As Sinead had also gotten married there, it was like she knew the place like the back of her hand. There wasn't a single moment where we felt at a loss, and she was with us every step of the way (even when I was running 20 minutes late!) It was an absolute pleasure working with and getting to know her, and we will forever be grateful to have her on our side. The rest of the team were incredibly on the ball with ensuring that everything was uptogether and it was amazing working with them.

This is truly a day that we will remember forever. We had the best day and I would recommend The Larmer Tree to anyone looking for the perfect venue to host their wedding. It is picturesque, quirky, and truly memorable.
