John’s food was incredible, loads of our guests said it was the best canapés & food they had ever had at a wedding. The canapés really were awesome in both taste & amount. The beef rib sharing boards were out of this world and the perfect wedding meal. Pizzas in the evening were also very highly talked about! I could not recommend smoke tin kitchen more!

We can’t thank the team at GM Events — especially Lex, Eli, and Jason — enough for the incredible job they did with the catering and décor at our wedding. The setup was absolutely stunning and perfectly captured our vision. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere that our guests are still raving about! And the food — just wow. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. We received so many compliments throughout the night. From start to finish, the team was professional, creative, and wonderfully calm, making the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. We’re so grateful to have had GM Events on board for our big day. Highly recommended!

Our daughter and her partner had a small family wedding in January 2026. There were only 18 of us but with an age range from 5 to 97 years. The celebrations were in a large house we rented for the weekend. James took personal control of all the catering for the dinner, setting the table, arranging table decorations and preparing the meal. He served numerous canapes, even creating separate mixed platters for those with dietary preferences. Everything was ready for us when we returned from the ceremony and he not only served champagne but he also managed to find time to take a group picture for us! In the run up to the event James was extremely helpful with suggestions and changes and we were able to provide guest with a choice of menus. On the day, he arrived promptly and left after everything was cleared and tidy. The food was delicious! Possibly what pleased us most was that James,without being at all intrusive, became part of the celebration and left all our guests saying that they would recommend him to everyone!

Dave and his team were exceptional! We were looking for a relaxed but special wedding meal and we could not have done better than Truffle & Thyme. From the very first call with Dave, we knew we had made the right decision. He immediately understood the brief, made suggestions that worked with our ideas and what we wanted and was flexible and responsive throughout. On the day itself, he and the team were amazing and all of our guests commented on how exceptional the food was. Book Truffle & Thyme today. You won't be disappointed.

Mark and his team was great! The food was amazing and everyone said how great the food was. (The potatoe salad was delicious!!) The communication leading up to the wedding was spot on! Thanks so much!

We were blown away by how incredible Treats on a Trike was and would 100% book them again. Sheona was extremely kind, responsive, thoughtful and professional throughout the process of organising the wedding and they were the perfect addition to our big day (filling that awkward gap between wedding breakfast and evening party perfectly). All our guests loved the ice cream - it was exceptional quality - and the service added perfectly to the relaxed, family oriented vibe of the wedding. Thank you Treats on a Trike! You were incredible!
