We came across Lewis on the Hitched website and immediately felt he would be a good fit to capture our wedding – and we weren’t wrong. From the first consultation, he was really clear about his photography style and what we could expect from his services; and the final consultation a few weeks prior to the wedding really reassured me that he would capture all of the essential moments.
On the wedding morning, Lewis met me and my bridesmaids at our hotel to capture us getting ready – his energy levels were contagious and really got us in the spirit of celebration. Despite the room being very full with me, six bridesmaids and three stylists, Lewis was able to seamlessly work around everyone to ensure the morning was well documented. He moved across to the venue with us shortly afterwards and continued to catch all the special moments – a first look with my parents, gifts, getting ready. He was also more than happy to capture some of the ‘sillier’ requests from my sister and I.
Lewis stayed with us for the rest of the day, until around 9pm – he somehow managed to be everywhere without us even noticing he was there, but based on the previews, I’m confident he has captured so many special moments. One of our guests even came up to me an extatically exclaimed ‘your photographer is everywhere, it’s great!’. The portrait previews we have seen are absolutely stunning – not only did we get some beautiful photos during and after the ceremony, Lewis was always on the look out for more opportunities for a good photo, and he even spotted a brief moment where the sky looked on fire at sunset, and quickly got us outside for a photo opportunity that I had wished for, but didn’t think I’d get with it being a cloudy day – so massive props to him for that!
I’m so incredibly happy that we found Lewis – his photos capture the emotion in every little moment and every image is the perfect reflection of the love and happiness we felt on the day. I shall treasure these photos forever, and can’t thank him enough for the wonderful job he did documenting our special day.Lewis Bishop Photography's reply:

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Lewis for our wedding day. From the moment we met him, we knew we’d made the right choice – he’s not only incredibly talented but also just a genuinely great guy who we got on with brilliantly.
Lewis has a real creative eye and captured moments we’ll treasure forever. Despite the unpredictable weather on the day, he worked his magic and delivered fantastic photos that exceeded our expectations. When the weather briefly cleared, he was quick-thinking enough to get us outside for some beautiful outdoor shots without any fuss.
What really set Lewis apart was how comfortable he made us feel throughout the day. He blended seamlessly into our wedding party and never felt intrusive or overbearing – it was like having a friend there who just happened to be taking incredible photos. His relaxed approach meant we could enjoy our day naturally while he captured every special moment.

Lewis photographed my friend's wedding (Sam & Frankie). He was brilliant - early to arrive (!), super responsive and made everyone feel really comfortable. on receipt of the first slideshow photos we were all absolutely in love - such stunning shots! Thank you Lewis! -

At the risk of running out of superlatives, Lewis is an exceptionally talented photographer who was simply amazing at our wedding. From start to finish we have nothing but praise for him, from initial enquiry to post-wedding photo releases he has been supremely organised, a prompt communicator and always happy to be reached out to. On the big day he was so friendly and relaxed, exactly what was needed! Our friends and family all specifically commented to us on the day and the morning after about how wonderful he was. And the photos! OMG – absolutely indescribable! It’s easy to understand how Lewis has won so many awards for his photos, they are simply incredible! If Lewis is free for your wedding and you haven’t booked a photographer yet, do not think twice, book him! I would recommend him to anyone, though frankly his photos recommend him themselves! -

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding at Plum Park Manor. From the moment we booked Lewis, everything felt effortless and on the big day, he was nothing short of exceptional.
He arrived early to take a walk around the venue, as he hadn’t shot much there before, and that extra care and attention to detail really showed in the photos. It was so reassuring to see someone take that time to get a feel for the space before diving in. Throughout the day, he blended into the background so naturally which was perfect for us, as quite a few of us are camera shy. He captured the most intimate, candid moments without ever making us feel like we were being watched or posed.
All of our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how lovely he was, he brought such calm, positive energy to the day. It felt like having another friend there, someone who genuinely wanted the best for us and our memories.
We’ve only had the highlights back so far and already I’m completely blown away. He somehow managed to catch every special moment, even ones we had completely forgotten about in the whirlwind of the day. Just from the preview, I know the full set is going to be absolutely magical.
100/10 – would recommend over and over again. If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to book him, don’t even hesitate. He’s the kind of photographer who not only delivers stunning images, but genuinely adds to the experience of your wedding day. -
