The Spectrum is a Wedding band based in the centre of the UK.

Ok, so let's talk about your wedding reception. You want it to be fun, lively and full of songs that everyone will know.

We get to know our couples so that we create a wedding reception playlist that all your family and guests will talk about for years to come!

Available to travel across the UK, The Spectrum is a high-energy wedding band based in the West Midlands of England. The band boasts many years of experience playing at weddings, enabling them to provide a complete music service. Playing only the best in pop, rock and indie songs for weddings, these professional musicians have played with international stars and top touring artists.

The Spectrum aims to provide clients with more than just a service and hopes to gift them with an unforgettable experience. This band boasts a high-quality performance, live sound, and undeniable chemistry on stage. These musicians work closely with every couple to ensure that everything runs smoothly and will put together a playlist that reflects their unique personalities.

Their extensive setlist caters for all ages, including classic tunes from The Beatles and The Jam through to The Killers, Walk The Moon and The Weeknd. They will provide a complete top-specification PA and lighting system to ensure you have only the best for your wedding. You will always have a pre-mixed DJ playlist in between the band's live sets, or you can have the option of a live DJ who will be on hand to take requests or have your specific playlist ready to go so you can focus on enjoying your event.

What is included in the wedding package?

Our most popular wedding package is for the evening entertainment with the band arriving at 6pm to setup and giving you music until midnight. Mixing live band sets with premixed DJ or live DJ

How far in advance should I contact you?

Our diary can go as far in the future as you need it too! Weddings often get booked up to 3 years in advance and as we only play one per day then please get in touch as soon as possible

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Yes of course! We love to learn songs that mean a lot to you and so long as it's suitable for a party then we would love to include it in our set so long as it suits a four piece live band

What's your experience?

We have lots of experience in weddings and events of all sizes. As a band we have been playing together for 10 years. You also get the same four guys that you see in our media!

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, outdoor/marquee/tipi we need a hard surface to perform on

Can you travel?

Yes, we travel all over the UK. Our cost includes travel up to 2 hours. See below!

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, please get in contact for your personalised quotation. We generally charge £100 per hour of travel after 2 hours from our base in The Midlands

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

We usually arrive at 6pm for a reception and finish at midnight but later times are available. We usually play 2 x 45, 1 x 90, 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minutes

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Our setup time is around an hour assuming good access to our performance space

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

Dj costs of £150 per hour after midnight. An extra 30 minutes of live band is £400

Best band ever!!!

We had The Spectrum perform at our wedding last week and they made it the best night ever! They were so much fun and got everyone up and dancing, and played a great mixture of songs to appeal to everyone. Communication with James was really easy, and we were able to suggest songs beforehand that we would like them to add to their set list. We requested a slightly altered version of our first dance song, as we wanted it to start acoustic and then transition into the normal song, and this was absolutely no problem for them and worked really well. All of our guests loved them and we have since had so many say to us how amazing they were. If you are looking for a band for your wedding, look no further than The Spectrum as they will make it an unforgettable night!

Rocked the night! Thank you.

We booked Spectrum to play at our vow renewal ceremony to celebrate 20 years of marriage. They didn't dissapoint. In the run up to the event, the booking and communication put my mind at ease. The night ran like clockwork. The band brought the energy to the room, kept the drinks flowing, the guests on the dancefloor and the atmosphere was just perfect. Highly recommend.

Just stop looking...you found your Wedding band!!

The Spectrum were just amazing.

We were looking for a band that would make our wedding unforgettable, and it certainly was. We looked at loads, and I mean a lot of bands but something about The Spectrum stood out. Plus we wanted a band that didn't make it about themselves, if that makes sense?!
They have this incredible ability to read the room and keep the energy exactly where it needs to be, no big gaps and seamlessly moving between styles and even decades of songs without losing any momentum!

They were great on the build up, James is super helpful and fast at responding.

Some of our guests and family members who don't usually dance were up and moving about, and they are still talking about it weeks later. It didn't feel like a typical wedding band, but more like a gig where I was wearing a wedding dress!

They made the night. If you want your wedding to be talked about for all the right reasons, you won't find a better band. X

The BEST! We loved them.

We just wanted to say the biggest thank you to you and the band for performing at our wedding. You truly added the perfect touch to our evening. Having a live band was always something I dreamed of, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better.
Our first dance was made so special by your beautiful performance of our song – it’s a memory I’ll treasure forever, so thank you for that.

Dance floor was never empty

We would highly recommend Spectrum for any occasion. All our guests have all commented on how brilliant Spectrum were. The dance floor was always full and everyone was singing along. Incredible

Couldn’t have wished for a better band on our Wedding day! The dance floor was packed from start to finish. We have had so many comments since our Wedding on how brilliant the band were. Pre Wedding the band listened to song requests we had and played these in their set which made it more personal to us, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would love to do it all over again! Amazing performers!

We hired the Spectrum to play our wedding in September and they were absolutely fantastic. They’re all brilliant musicians and performers, and had the dancefloor rocking throughout their entire set, bringing so much fun and energy to the place.

They even went out of their way to learn our first dance song so that they could play it for us live, and it really made the moment feel even more special.

James was a pleasure to work with - friendly, professional, and accommodating, and when our wedding breakfast overran slightly he ensured that the band adapted with no dramas whatsoever, so that the evening still ran seamlessly.

These guys are superstars and we can’t thank them enough for the part they played in making our day so special. Highly recommended!

The only Wedding band you'll need!

These guys were absolutely awesome! James is super helpful and very easy to get hold of, great professional service throughout. Our wedding in August was an absolute scorcher but they still had everyone partying on the dancefloor. The even humoured the Groom rocking out with them on the mic ! Fantastic variety of songs and styles . Book them and you will be absolutely delighted that you did.

What a band! 🥰

We honestly cannot thank you guys enough! Our guests loved you and you catered for all the generations plus our friends and family from New Zealand.

We had a few aching muscles amongst the guests days after as they recovered from dancing the night away.

If you are looking for a band look no further! These guys will look after you every step of the way and make it special for you!

Out of this world

These guys are great! Can’t recommend them enough.

They are well organised and consulted us on the types of music to play, packages and timings that work well. They even learnt our first dance song especially for us and it sounded great and better than we ever expected.

These guys got the crowd going and captured them all night long and even did a special song at the end of the night to really finish our special day off.

If you book these guys you won’t be disappointed, top class!

Perfect! 🤘🏻😍🎶

The Spectrum were amazing throughout the whole process! Planning was easy and straight forward with flexibility in packages to suit whatever you want. On the wedding evening we had so many compliments about the music. Absolutely fantastic!

The Spectrum preformed at our wedding on Friday 26th July 2024 and we can’t thank them enough for making our evening one to remember. We felt involved, supported and listened to throughout the whole planning process and nothing was too much trouble. The band even helped with a special request which involved piecing together our father & daughter dance which was epic! They also tailored their songs to our specific requests, ensuring that they played some of our all time favourites. If you are looking to dance the night away and party hard, then they’re definitely the band for you!

A night to remember!

The Spectrum Band were incredible! They provided an evening filled with fun, dancing, and singing.

James was great from the outset, calling us to chat through our day and hopes for the evening. They had such an extensive set list and even learnt our first dance song for us! (which was perfect)
Us and our guests had a brilliant time. The sets were outstanding, and the addition of a DJ between sets kept the energy high and the dancing going.

So many guests commented after on how brilliant the band was and how much they enjoyed the night. Including our bonus "kids disco" at the very start of the evening before our mini guests crashed out.

Our only wish is that the night could have lasted longer! We would absolutely recommend The Spectrum for any wedding or music event and just hope we have an excuse to have them again in the future. (Duddon Mill, Tarvin | July 2024)
