Hello, I'm Victoria and I offer natural storytelling photography - capturing all the romance, fun, laughter and tears. I don’t make people stand for hours on steps posing for me. I love just being there – blending into the background – and taking everything as it unfolds and not interfering with the loveliness of the day. That is why I describe my style as reportage, unobtrusive, documentary or ‘natural’. I let the day unfold and capture what is happening rather than trying to re-create or add anything artificial.
I offer gentle art direction, relaxed and bubbly guidance but my focus is on observing all the incredible things that will happen on your day so you have the cherished memories to look back on.
I love to work with couples who are excited about their wedding day and want to make sure everything is captured in the true spirit of their personalities and individual love story.
If you're looking for a wedding photographer and like what you see, I would love to hear from you!
Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the price of your service?
For a typical wedding day with coverage beginning with bridal preparations through to the first dance, I charge £995. This includes a face to face appointment before the big day and a private password protected online gallery to share your photos with all your guests (including high res downloads). If you'd like me to stay into the evening, I charge £50 per hour after the first dance. I also offer bespoke tailored packages for shorter times, as well as engagement shoots. Personalised leather albums with mounted prints are available upon request.
What services do you offer?
I offer a personalised service where I will be with you every step of the way. We can keep in touch by phone, by email or whatsapp. Whatever works best for you. I like to meet couples around 6-8 weeks before the big day - sometimes this can take place at the reception venue itself and then on to your home for a cuppa after. I like to get to know couples well so I fully understand what you'd like me to capture (and of course, what you don't like. That's very important too!) I also offer wedding pre-shoots if you'd like to practice and get comfortable with my art direction before the big day.
What does the wedding package include?
A typical package would include bridal preparations, ceremony, reception, speeches, up to and including the first dance. I am happy to work overtime if you'd like me to cover the inebriated antics and fun into the night! The cost of £995 also includes a separate engagement shoot.
How far in advance should I contact you?
Contact me to enquire on my availability as soon as you've got a ceremony / reception date confirmed. I will let you know very soon if I am able to cover your wedding and then we can talk further about your requirements.
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No - just your wedding!
Are you able to travel?
Yes - I do not charge for my diesel within Kent. Outside of Kent, I just charge for my diesel.
What is the charge for travelling?
Let me know the location of your wedding, and I will work it out. I only charge for diesel, not my travelling time.
What style of photos do you take?
I am trained and have specialised as a reportage photographer. I love to take natural shots throughout the day where I am 'ever present' rather than forcing people to pose like Wallace and Gromit. Saying that, I work with couples to compose a shot list of traditional formal shots. These are very important memories for people too!
What kind of technology do you use?
I use a Canon MKD III. I mainly use a wide lens 24-70mm and a telephoto lens 70-200mm. I am a Canon kid through and through! I also always carry back-up equipment.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I don't do gizmos or gadgets. I don't hold funny little lights or shoot up people's noses. I just take really good shots and I'm super hero lightning speed to capture those magic moments that will never happen again.
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Once your photos have been professionally edited, as well as sending you your memory stick containing high res jpegs, you'll receive a password and login to your private secure photo gallery. Here your guests can view a slideshow of all your photos and also have the opportunity to download them in medium or high resolution. If there are any photos you'd like to keep private (i.e some couples would rather keep the 'getting ready photographs' private), simply let me know and I can take them off for you before you circulate.
What''s the delivery time for photographic report?
I will confirm this on time of booking, but to date, I have always sent photos back to couples before they've come off honeymoon. I remember when I got married, it was the one thing that cheered me up when coming back on the plane - knowing I was going to see all my photos as soon as I got back home :0)
Do you send all the photos taken?
No, I don't. Professional photographers in my view should NEVER send all the photos as this isn't professional. You don't want to see my test exposure shots! And where certain people have their eyes closed! The best shots will all be sent to you. All photographers have to try different things, test exposures and some things work better than others. We should always strive to only give you the best of our work.
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
I work alone. There's more than enough of me to go around!
In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?
Yes, I always ensure a replacement is on stand by. But I never eat a takeaway before I am due to shoot a wedding as I am paranoid! So it has never been needed to date.
Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?
Yes, I have the rights to publish my photos across media.
Do you charge per hour or per event?
I charge by event. However, I am happy to work overtime.
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes, although I have been commissioned to cover bespoke packages tailored to the couple (i.e only the reception), usually I cover a full day from bridal preparations (early morning) until the first dance (usually around 7pm). After that, many couples ask me to stay on and pay my overtime to cover dancing, evening entertainment, etc.
How do you charge extra time?
At the moment, I charge £50 per hour after the first dance.
What are the forms of payment?
Deposit and final payment can be made via BACs or by cheque.
How do you work?
I like to work closely with couples and really understand the detail of their wedding and what's important to them so I can ensure I don't miss anything. Every couple and every wedding is different and unique so I like to have a strong idea of how I will shoot on the day before I take the len's cap off. Some brides like to email, call or whats app me to stay in contact and ask lots of questions about their wedding in general. I am really happy to work like this and will help with my experience in any way I can. I like to meet couples before the big day - usually around 6-8 weeks before, ideally at the reception venue so we can look at it together and work collaboratively on what will look great on the day.

Just absolutely brilliant
I am so pleased I decided to work with Victoria. What an enthusiastic, organised and professional photographer - exactly what you need when there is so much to plan! Within days of my enquiry Victoria contacted me to gain some initial ideas.Sent on 14/09/2019
We then met one morning about 6 weeks before the wedding and went through all the details and walked around the various venues. While we walked and talked Victoria provided lots of ideas and took copious notes as to the photos I was looking for. All this planning meant that the day went like clockwork. Our photos are exactly what I was looking for - natural, relaxed and joyful. We love them. Thank you so much for being part of our special day. I would highly recommend!
Victoria Green Photography's reply:Thank you for such an amazing review Lynette - it was a genuine pleasure to work with you and Mark. And a first for me photographing personalised shoes with cats on! So pleased you love your pictures :0)

Knows her stuff.
On first contact with Victoria she responded very quickly to our email and then we had a telephone conversation a few days later and we spoke about what we would like on the day and I explained it was a 1920s celebration she was quite happy to do colour and black & white. Victoria is very easy to deal with on the day she turn up earlier than we arrange and got to work straight away was very organised and took the photos that we ask her to and a lot of the time she was in the background doing her job like the professional she is.Sent on 22/07/2019
Victoria Green Photography's reply:Thanks Kevin -really appreciate your kind words. It was my first 1920s wedding! I really enjoyed photographing all the unique elements of your special day. I wish you and Carol every happiness.

Passionate and enthusiastic, fabulous photos
Victoria, is passionate and enthusiastic and highly professional. She made sure she got to know us pre-wedding and we met at the venue to agree format of the day and photo preferences. Our more formal shots have a relaxed feel about them and Victoria was totally unobtrusive throughout the day taking some fabulous candid shots. We love the collection and are absolutely delighted with her approach and the photos provided. Highly recommend.Sent on 30/07/2019
Victoria Green Photography's reply:Thank you so much, Sue, for your lovely feedback -it was an absolute pleasure photographing your special day. Everywhere I looked, people were laughing their heads off -it was very fun to shoot.
