About Victoria Green Photography

Victoria Green is a specialist reportage wedding photographer offering beautiful pictures that capture every emotion and moment of your big day.

Hello - I’m a photographer who loves working with couples and children. I’m utterly obsessed with weddings and specialise in natural storytelling - capturing all the romance, fun, laughter and tears. I use natural light to compose the most flattering portraits of couples and their guests. I love all the details of what makes each wedding unique.

Whilst I specialise in natural shots, I cover the more traditional formal shots professionally, sleekly and with a splash of fun.

I love to work with couples who are excited about their wedding day and want to make sure everything is captured in the true spirit of their personalities and individual love story.

I offer gentle art direction, relaxed and bubbly guidance but my focus is on observing all the incredible things that will happen on your day - capturing every laugh, tear and giggle - so you have the cherished memories to look back on.

  • "Unobtrusive, friendly and professional"

As mother-of-the -Bride I was keen that Rachel had a stress free and professional experience, which is what Victoria did. She was unobtrusive, friendly and professional, and never stopped smiling which helped Rachel and her guests enjoy their day and get it captured. Thoroughly reccomend Victoria, thank you so much!

  • "Stunning and exactly what we wanted"
    Brigitte & John on 11 June 2018

We couldn’t recommend Victoria highly enough - the final photographs are stunning and exactly what we wanted. We received them on the doorstep as we returned from honeymoon - they made us cry when we first saw them! The composition and colour is beautiful in all of them. Many of our guests have commented how flattering she has made people look - even certain guests who don’t usually like their picture being taken. On the day, it was like having another friend there with us. She didn’t impose at all and at times we didn’t notice her taking the photos. The only problem is choosing which ones to go up on the walls - there are so many beautiful shots to choose from.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of your service?

For a typical wedding day with coverage beginning with bridal preparations through to the first dance, I charge £975. This includes everything as well as an engagement shoot, a face to face appointment before the big day and a private password protected online gallery to share your photos with all your guests (including high res downloads). I also offer bespoke tailored packages for shorter / longer times. Albums are available upon request.

What style of photos do you take?

I am trained and have specialised as a reportage photographer. I love to take natural shots throughout the day where I am 'ever present' rather than forcing people to pose like Wallace and Gromit. Saying that, I work with couples to compose a shot list of traditional formal shots. These are very important memories for people too!

What''s the delivery time for photographic report?

I will confirm this on time of booking, but to date, I have always sent photos back to couples before they've come off honeymoon! I remember when I got married, it was the one thing that cheered me up when coming back on the plane - knowing I was going to see all my photos as soon as I got back home :0)

Do you send all the photos taken?

No, I don't. Professional photographers in my view should NEVER send all the photos as this isn't professional. You don't want to see my test exposure shots! And where certain people have their eyes closed! The best shots will all be sent to you. All photographers have to try different things, test exposures and some things work better than others. We should always strive to only give you the best of our work.

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

I work alone. There's more than enough of me to go around!

How do you charge extra time?

At the moment, I charge £50 per hour after the first dance.

How do you work?

I like to work closely with couples and really understand the detail of their wedding and what's important to them so I can ensure I don't miss anything. Every couple and every wedding is different and unique so I like to have a strong idea of how I will shoot on the day before I take the len's cap off. This makes people feel as comfortable as possible :0) Some brides like to email, call or whats app me to stay in contact and ask lots of questions about their wedding in general. I am really happy to work like this and will help with my experience in any way I can. However, some people just like to email and keep me updated on how their wedding preparations are going. I like to meet couples (no extra charge!) before the big day - usually around 6-8 weeks before, ideally at the reception venue so we can look at it together and work collaboratively on what will look great on the day. If possible, it's great to have a cuppa back at the couple's home after to run through all the fine detail / itinerary of the day.
