Jon DJ’d our wedding in London in June 2024 and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough! Right from our initial consultation call, though the various times we spoke through the planning period, he made things really easy and was incredibly approachable.

He had been recommended by the head planner at our venue and it quickly became clear why. We had a pretty specific request for our first dance which took a bit of work to bring to life and Jon smashed it! During the reception itself, he was fantastic. He was constantly able to gauge the crowd and understand exactly what tracks were needed when and our “must-plays” were weaved in seamlessly at the perfect times. We also really appreciated how he managed some of the more questionable song requests throughout the night!

Music is a huge part of our lives, so something we had really high expectations of for our wedding day; Jon absolutely delivered on this. The sign of a great DJ is keeping dance-floor packed all night with guests of all ages, which isn’t an easy thing to do at all, but that’s what we had!

Jon is personable and helpful, and clearly has a great passion for music as well as experience of weddings and what works. He listened to what we wanted, helped us create a slightly different first dance, and managed to stitch together lots of different genres together to keep the dancefloor going and all generations and tastes happy. He selected the perfect last song of the night and helped to create special wedding moments I'll never forget!
The DJ booth and lights looked great and helped create a party atmosphere and the package was pretty exceptional value imho.

Had such a great experience from the very professional process to the lovely DJ (Jon) on the day! All of our favourite songs made an appearance and everyone had the best time which means the DJ was able to read the room and merge lots of genres smoothly (including some Romanian songs too :)!

From our very first call with Jon from Redline, we knew he was exactly who we wanted for our wedding. We had a diverse vision for the music, wanting to hit so many different genres – from 80s to 00s, emo, garage, and a healthy dose of camp classics. Jon didn't just understand our eclectic taste; he absolutely delivered on it! He also knew our venue at Trinity Buoy Wharf, which put us at ease about knowing about the space.
Jon was fantastic at accommodating everything we threw at him, including working seamlessly with our drag queen to enable a fabulous cabaret act. He was also incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly, which was important to us. What truly set Jon apart was how much he felt like a genuine part of the party; the dance floor was pumping all night long, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the music!
He brilliantly took our "10 must-play" songs along with a selection of "could-plays" to get a perfect sense of our vibe and structure the night. Crucially, Jon was also genuinely willing to listen to what we did not want, ensuring the tone was spot-on without any cliché songs or going too far into camp. And as an added bonus, we now have the full playlist to go back and enjoy whenever we want to relive the magic!
The regular check-ins we had with Jon were invaluable. They really allowed us to get to know each other and made him feel like an integral part of our special day. We honestly could not recommend Jon and the Redline team!

RedLine DJs delivered exactly what we asked for- a fun and celebratory atmosphere with everyone getting up to dance. The dancefloor was very rarely not jam packed and even we danced way more than we usually do! Roi was our DJ and understood our playlist perfectly, and really understood how people were feeling on the night. Jon was great at helping and organising too- for example we needed an extra PA system because of the layout of our venue, and we also had to work with the venue on set up time. All of the problem solving felt really smooth and calm and it all worked out really well.

We chose Redline DJ’s, specifically Jon, to play a DJ set for our wedding so we could dance the night away with our closest friends and family.

Jon made us feel comfortable and trusting from the start with his professional, humour, and passion for DJ’ing eclectic musical events.

We felt empowered to choose the music we really wanted to hear on our wedding night, while giving Jon creative space to add songs he felt would work well and order the tracks in an evolving way. Because of the order Jon played we had all of our older (and younger) guests straight on the dance floor for 80s disco music, then later on the later pop and dance tracks kept all of the younger guests partying away. It couldn’t have been better.

Jon also introduced our first dance, gathering the guests to join in after a cue (his idea). We really couldn’t have had a more seamless experience and it was thanks to his experience and intuition.

Finally, another reason we went with Redline was their professional approach to the organisation of an event, ensuring multiple DJs were available to play your event in the event your elected couldn’t make it from an emergency. As well as thoughtfully not overlapping events on the same day. Your event mattered as much to them as it did to you.

I would not hesitate to recommend Redline & Jon for weddings, professional events, or anything else where you want to throw a great party.

We also had the most talented saxophonist, Anna, play alongside the music for 2 x 45 minute sets. WOW! Anna was incredible and really brought the music to life, I have goosebumps just thinking about it now. The guests obviously thought so too and she was called on for an encore!

e had an absolutely fantastic experience with DJ Vicki Lou for our wedding at Devonshire Terrace, London! From the very beginning, she understood our vibe perfectly and kept the energy high throughout the night. Her music selection (from our lengthy put together playlist) was spot on, and she seamlessly transitioned between tracks, keeping everyone on the dance floor. Highly recommend a couple of their confetti canons, they were amazing!

The entire booking process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free. Jon was supportive and responsive, making sure all our needs were met and any questions we had were promptly answered. His professionalism and attention to detail made the whole experience stress-free.

Jon was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the proces. Not only did he sorted out the DJ for the night, he also helped us organise back line for our home brew wedding band, advising on sounds and equipments. Adam who was the DJ on the night was also very friendly and helpful with a great sense of how to string tunes together to get the crowd going.
