Our friendly professional team will play the music you love without any cheesey chat.
Most of us have worked in radio, events or clubs which gives us a unique approach compared to typical wedding DJs.
We have an outstanding reputation and make it simple for you to build an amazing playlist with our exclusive client portal.
The team provide for around 380 parties and events each year and we always have DJs in reserve incase of illness.

What is included in the wedding package?
We'll provide a friendly professional DJ who embraces your requests, complementary uplighting to match your colour scheme and £10 million Public Liability cover. Price inclusive of VAT
How far in advance should I contact you?
Most couples book at the start of their wedding planning journey because they recognise the importance of a good DJ. We only ask for a £200 deposit with the balance payable 1 month before

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
We source all requests provided in advance and will take requests on the night as long as they fit within the bride and grooms brief. Our Perfect Party Playlist portal helps you build a fantastic set

We are an experienced team of DJs from club, broadcast and events backgrounds.
Getting the music right for you is THE most important part of our job and use the same identical, modern stylish set ups

Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, it depends entirely on the distance to the venue. if it's over 50 miles from Southampton we do add a charge
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
Yes
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
Our standard evening is 5 hours and we do not charge for setting up
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
We arrive an hour before start time and usually set up within 40 minutes of being able to access the room

How do you charge extra time?
£100 per hour
What are the forms of payment?
We charge a £200 booking deposit to secure your date with the balance payable in full one month before.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or by card.

Stuart was absolutely amazing on the night. Kept the dance floor going until the very end and the perfect mixture of our wedding playlist was played!
We had a custom mix for our first dance, created by Simon, and can honestly say it's our favourite version of the song now.
Cannot thank you all enough for your hard work in making our day so special.

The best DJ!
HEDJ were excellent from start to finish, they had taken a playlist of ours to get a read of our vibe and matched this perfectly to a soundtrack for the evening which covered everyone from our age range (30) to younger guests and our families (up to 70) and the whole room was dancing throughout. Dan was our DJ and was able to read the room and adapt when needed to keep everyone dancing. Communication in advance of the day was proactive and helpful. Thank you Dan and HEDJ for a great evening we won't forget!

Wedding DJ
We were so impressed with Hampshire DJ’s. They were professional and made choosing our songs so easy to make sure our favourites were played. We had to have a last minute change of DJ due to health issues but we would never have known that the DJ had limited time to prepare! Thank you so much and we would hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

Amazing! Highly recommend
Simon was our DJ for our wedding in July 2021 and did an amazing job! Great with our guests, playing any request that they had. We had to re arrange our date due to Covid and Simon made the process so easy and stress free, the communication was great throughout. Would highly recommended Hampshire Event DJs for any event! Thank you for helping make our wedding reception perfect!

Fantastic DJ!
We are so happy we chose Hampshire Event DJs for our wedding reception on Friday 7th April at Wasing Park. From the very beginning, Simon communicated with us in a welcoming and friendly manner and continued to check in with us in the lead up to the wedding. We were impressed by the technology used to generate our music tastes, we were able to select music we liked, disliked and then further categorise music we must have played and definitely would not want played, which was really useful. We also submitted a list of requests from our guests and guests were also able to request on the night too, not that it was needed! We had Charlie as our DJ for the night… he was absolutely lovely, super enthusiastic and everything we would have hoped for in a wedding DJ. The dance floor was full all night long and Charlie managed to play a great range of tunes which kept people from age 16- 78 dancing all night. We are so grateful to the Hampshire Event DJ team, they were fantastic from start to finish! Thank you so so much.
