We'll provide a friendly professional DJ who will play your requests, also complementary uplighting to match your colour scheme and £10 million Public Liability cover. Prices inclusive of VAT
How far in advance should I contact you?
Most couples book at the start of their wedding planning journey because they recognise the importance of a good DJ. We only ask for a £200 deposit with the balance payable 1 month before

Our standard evening is 5 hours and we do not charge for setting up

We arrive an hour before start time and usually set up within 40 minutes of being able to access the room

What are the forms of payment?
We charge a £200 booking deposit to secure your date with the balance payable in full one month before.

They won’t disappoint!
Simon, was amazing from the moment we booked with Hampshire Event DJs a year before our wedding. The communication we received from him was always personalised, professional and friendly. I truly feel a lot of care went into our playlist.
Simon 100% understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding and was able to deliver exactly that! We had a mixture of high school musical, Barry white and even Nicki manaj and it worked amazingly. The dance floor was busy all night.

Thank you to Charlie and Simon!
In the lead up to the day Simon was so responsive and so helpful. We loved the song selector tool and Simon put a medley together for our first dance which was great.
On the day Charlie was so kind and helpful. It was a warm day so not that many guests on the dance floor because it was just so nice outside, but this was nothing to do with Charlie’s evident skill - he was great!!

Dan was the man on the night and Simon was the one with whom we liaised for our wedding on 19th April 2025. Both of them were highly professional and accommodating/flexible. They worked seamlessly with our gorgeous singer, #victoriabasssings, filling in between her sets and then playing us out for the last couple of hours.
The dance floor was rocking and everyone was tired and happy at the end of the evening!

Couldn’t recommend Hampshire event DJ’s enough! We ended up messaging them the day before asking if they could arrive a bit earlier. Simon was really flexible and arrived when asked and was great at reading the room and playing banger after banger!

Brilliant night, great music, best wedding 💒
Simon was the DJ for our wedding in August 2024.
From start to finish the music was brilliant, and the service highly professional.
A friend told me that they were going to leave at midnight, but everyone they went o go another banger would come on, they stayed u til the lights came on!

August 10th Wedding
Hampshire Event DJs have been an amazing company to work with start to finish! Simon is brilliant at communicating and has been a breeze to work with! Stuart, our DJ who joined us the evening of the wedding came in smoothly and quietly - he was set up quickly and began playing some of our favourites! He worked alongside well with our wedding singer who was singing our first dance. Could not recommend these guys enough! Professional, efficient, friendly and our dance floor was never empty during the evening!

Such a good party
We had a substitute step in at the last minute but both our original choice and the DJ on the night were amazing and did an amazing job with our lesser known first dance choices. Played good music all night, highly recommend.

The best DJ!
HEDJ were excellent from start to finish, they had taken a playlist of ours to get a read of our vibe and matched this perfectly to a soundtrack for the evening which covered everyone from our age range (30) to younger guests and our families (up to 70) and the whole room was dancing throughout. Dan was our DJ and was able to read the room and adapt when needed to keep everyone dancing. Communication in advance of the day was proactive and helpful. Thank you Dan and HEDJ for a great evening we won't forget!

Stuart was absolutely amazing on the night. Kept the dance floor going until the very end and the perfect mixture of our wedding playlist was played!
We had a custom mix for our first dance, created by Simon, and can honestly say it's our favourite version of the song now.
Cannot thank you all enough for your hard work in making our day so special.

Hi - I'm Simon and I established Hampshire Event DJs in 2018 with a few other DJs I shared work with over the years.
Like me, many of my team have come from a commercial radio background which means we avoid all the wedding DJ clichés.
We're all about getting the music right for you and if you don't know what you want we've build an app to make it easy, filtering out and presenting the most popular music from hundreds of recent weddings.
