Jimmy was an absolute legend on our special day! From our very first meeting, we felt his warmth and enthusiasm, and he made us feel so comfortable and welcome as a same-sex couple. He hosted our day beautifully, making sure every little music detail was spot on, and the whole day just flowed perfectly.
It was the little touches throughout the day that made all the difference! Jimmy suggested a table photo run, which turned out to be so much fun and added a whole new element to the day—it just goes to show he really knows his stuff!

When it came to the evening, Jimmy absolutely rocked it, playing all our song requests long into the night and keeping the party vibe alive! The photo booth was such a fun touch too, and the guest book filled with those memories is something we’ll treasure forever. We honestly can't recommend Jimmy and his amazing team enough—they're the best!

Devoted Events was a recommended supplier at our wedding venue and for good reason! We chose the DJ package with a dancefloor, adding uplighting and a disco ball to complete the setup. Communication was super easy, and the portal made it simple to share our song choices by linking a Spotify playlist.

Jimmy worked brilliantly with our saxophonist to create Ibiza vibes early in the evening, played the songs we’d requested and was happy to adapt when we came up with a few left-field choices on the day. He even worked in a little rock for our young nephew and mixed in some favourites we hadn’t thought to mention. The announcements were great too, especially the shout-out to our “YOLO wall”!

We honestly couldn’t recommend Jimmy enough! He was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special.
Not only was the music incredible, but Jimmy was an amazing host. He kept the atmosphere fun and energetic throughout the day, getting everyone involved with games between courses through the use of team captains, which was such a brilliant touch and had everyone laughing and joining in.
He kept the dance floor going all night and created such an amazing atmosphere — exactly what we wanted for our wedding! He was professional, friendly and genuinely seemed to care about making our day as memorable as possible.
Jimmy was one of our venue’s recommended suppliers, and we are so grateful that we chose him to be part of our special day. He played such a huge part in making it everything we hoped it would be, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ and host for their wedding. 🥂🎶🤍

Thank you so much to our DJ Paul from Devoted Events who helped make our wedding evening so much fun! There were plenty of people on the dance floor at all times, which speaks for itself. Paul even played a couple of Iranian songs for a few Iranian guests which went down a treat!

The rustic DJ booth worked so perfectly in the venue, Colville Hall, and we hired some rustic light up “LOVE” letters and poseur tables to add some subtle and interesting lighting.

Having Jimmy as our DJ was Just like having a friend or family with us! Jimmy made the whole process of booking all the way through to the wedding day so perfect and easy! It was just like having an extra friend at the wedding. From making us laugh to letting friends and family get involved through games or even having a go on the decks. Myself & my Husband got married in February 2026 at Mulberry House. We found Devoted events as they’re a recommended supplier of our venue.
They offered such amazing packages that we HAD to book them. They had such a variety of extra’s to make a bespoke package that was amazing for us as a couple. We had 360 video, Photo Booth, Audio book and so much more.
We opted to have a host/MC as well as a DJ included and got Jimmy.
What can I say about you Jimmy. WOW.
You’re a man of pure talent. You’re the most personable, fun and charismatic bloke going. Jack said to me this morning you was a personal highlight for him. (Think it could be because you sang Garage tunes to eachother mid set).

Jimmy hosted the day and when I say he went ABOVE and beyond for us to the point he made sure we never had empty drinks. He engaged every guest at our large wedding with games which went down so well. Jimmy was also our DJ and I have to say, the dance floor was packed.
Jimmy got in on some inside jokes and made it that much more personal with some ‘Jess Glynn’ references and High School Musical tunes!

Caroline is one of the nicest ladies going. She helped out with the photobooth and everyone said how much fun they had. The photo book we got was amazing!!

The whole team at Devoted were incredible and our friends and family haven’t stopped going on about them all! They didn’t just make sure everyone had an amazing time but they also joined in on the fun and it was honestly the best thing about our wedding.

Jimmy is absolutely fantastic, we did their package deal which included a starlit dance floor, phone audio booth just to name a couple! It covered so many parts of our special day all under one umbrella which made planning a breeze! Everything was high quality and the DJ had our guests dancing all night long, the vibes we unreal and we can’t thank devoted events enough! Look no further!

We cannot recommend Devoted Events highly enough! From the moment we booked, everything was seamless, but what really made our wedding day special was having Jimmy as our host.

We had our wedding last week - and I can hand on heart say it wouldn’t have been the same without Ian. As soon as we had an initial call we knew we were in a good hands. The energy be never left the floor - any request he was on it. I recommend requesting Pitbull! The light-up dance floor looked absolutely incredible. The dry ice machine added such a magical touch, especially for our first dance, creating a beautiful atmosphere that we’ll always remember. Plus keeping it a secret in our planning meeting a surprise for my husband.

Jimmy at devoted events is the best!! We don't have the most traditional taste in music but that wasn't an issue at all. We got to hear all the songs we loved while we celebrated with our friends and family and Jimmy was happy to add in our last minute requests on the night.
We had devoted for the whole day to take the stress out of the ceremony music and everything went without a hiccup. We even had some fun and games during our wedding breakfast that kept people entertained and laughing away.
We also added on a Photo Booth to our evening which we absolutely loved and so did our guests. We had great fun looking back at all the photos from the evening.

We had the pleasure of Jimmy being a part of our wedding reception on the 26th of September at Mulberry House.

It was a spectacular evening, the range of music was great, lots of our guests complimented how well the playlist was put together and how fabulous Jimmy was as a host, getting everybody up onto the floor. Everybody was up dancing, there wasn't a moment when the floor was empty and we didn't want the party to end.

We also had a magic mirror photobooth which was hosted by Jonathan. All our guests loved this and had so much fun. We loved that we were given a guest book with a collection of fun snaps to look back on to remember our wonderful day. It put a cherry on top of the evening.

Also supplied was the starlight dance floor, love letters and a personalised protection that added that special touch and gave it a magical feel.

Devoted Events were fantastic and added such a special touch to our first dance with their dry ice. The effect was absolutely magical — it looked like we were dancing on clouds, and it made for the most incredible photographs and memories.
