My husband and I opted for a fairly small ceremony at Chester Town Hall for our wedding, and wanted to find a celebrant who could provide a personalised and well-written service with just enough humour, warmth and 'seriousness' - David ticked all our boxes! Warm, professional and attentive, David offered lots of options for us to choose from for our wedding ceremony, resulting in a fabulous occasion which felt just right for us.

David is communicative and calm which are both vital attributes whilst planning a wedding...! We were kept in the loop throughout the planning period, and any questions were answered quickly and thoroughly.

David is a fantastic celebrant! We couldn’t recommend him more highly. From the beginning David was warm, professional and listened to what we wanted. He got to know us and made our wedding ceremony very fun and personal. Many of our guests came up to us and said how much they enjoyed the ceremony and our wedding pianist (who we hired separately) said David was the best celebrant he had ever seen (and he’s seen a lot!). David also went the extra mile on the day to help organise guests and make sure everyone knew what they were doing e.g. the best man, ring bearer and our friend who did a reading. Book David for your special day, you wont regret it!

David is a genuine personable guy. We wanted our celebrant to be someone our children could also feel relaxed with and David ensured just that, meeting them at their level and including them as much as we wanted in the ceremony. David's guidance through the vows was really clear and it helped us to create vows that were really true to our love story. David provided mass materials to help us and created beautiful crib sheets for our big day which we can treasure forever. He considered every minute detail to ensure it all ran smoothly and it never felt overwhelming both in the planning and the delivery. We couldn't thank him enough.

David's ceremony captured our relationship and story so far perfectly. We wanted a celebrant who had conviction and presence without being too theatrical or corny and David certainly accomplished this. He made us feel at total ease during the planning process and was professional and courteous throughout. He even dealt with an intruding hornet halfway through the ceremony with such effect the whole congregation gave him a round of applause! From the moment we met David (via teams due to our location) he was super friendly, inquisitive, helpful and very knowledgeable. David set up regular meetings with us, running us through every detail of the speech he wrote and giving us the chance to edit the speech (though this wasn’t required). David is clearly an expert in his field and super experienced.

As well as perfectly capturing us as a couple he was entertaining and captivated our guests with the tales of our love story!

As well as this, David provided us with a reel of our wedding and the photos he captured and a beautifully bound wedding certificate and transcript of our ceremony.

From the moment we had our initial meeting with David we knew he was the right celebrant for us. He listened to our story of how we met to our journey as a couple and incorporated so many details to give us a wonderful and personalised wedding ceremony.
David offers a variety of services to choose from to truly make your ceremony unique and special. We chose to do hand fasting and an exchange of flower garlands and David helped us decide by talking us through each step and even doing additional research for the garland exchange for my Tamil/Hindu background.

We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant in David. Right from the start he was welcoming, helpful and easy to talk to. The collaboration between us and him on our vows and service prior to the wedding went very smoothly. He allowed us to have plenty of creative freedom with creating our love story, as well as allowing us the flexibility to update or tweak any elements of our story or vows when needed.
He was very generous with his time on the big day, by turning up earlier than initially planned to put us at ease with our preparations, as well as being really friendly and approachable to our friends and family as they arrived. The ceremony itself couldn’t have gone better. David had lots of energy right from the outset and toed the line perfectly between fun and lighthearted as well as genuine sincerity where necessary. After the ceremony he didn’t rush off and stayed to mingle with the guests and have a celebratory drink with us before heading home.
