What a team!!! I cannot put into words how incredible Charlotte, Steve and the team were. From the initial meeting they were so friendly, professional and organised, but on our wedding day they exceeded all our expectations.

The food was out of this world and the menu we created together was everything we wanted and more! But what stood out more was their attention to detail, they really went above and beyond to make our wedding day completely bespoke to us. Details we would never think of, they thought of absolutely everything.

Their dedication, hard work and genuine care made our day so special and meant we could relax and enjoy every second! We can’t thank them enough for making our day more than we could have ever imagined ❤️

Taste Caterers went above and beyond for our wedding. Right from the start they were invested in helping us create exactly what we wanted, they listened to all our food ideas and came up with an incredible menu based on all our favourites. The food on our wedding day was perfect, we had so many compliments, from the canapes, all the way through to the evening food, we and our guests loved the food. They also went above and beyond on the details! We sent over our inspiration and the presentation was tied into our themes, even down to taking the patterns from our custom napkins and turning it into the background of the canape trays. Taste truly helped make our day so special and we would choose them all over again without a doubt. Cannot recommend enough!

From our first call with Steve, we knew that Taste were going to be the perfect caterers for our special day. We felt reassured from the moment we discussed our ideas that they would make it a reality and they delivered in every department.

Not only was the food incredible, the attention to detail and advice on structuring our wedding breakfast made us feel so relaxed, and Charlotte was always on hand to guide us through every step. We never felt for one moment that there were going to be any issues and we can't thank you enough for such a flawless service.

We've had lots of feedback from our guests to say how impressed they were and it set up the rest of the evening to be an awesome day as a whole.

Steven and Charlotte and the whole taste team were absolutely fantastic - we hired them for our wedding and from start to finish they were so helpful, informative and reassuring, meaning it was totally stress free for us. The food is the best we've ever had at a large event and really creative based on what we like and asked for - a totally tailored menu!
They also created some lovely designs for the decorative boxes and bar items based on our wedding stationery that matched the theme perfectly, which was such a nice touch we didn't expect! We couldn't recommend them highly enough just based on the food, but everything else around it was top notch as well! Steven really is a fantastic chef and Charlotte is sooooo good at bringing the vision to life - really an amazing team with all the other staff.

There are no words for how much I love everything about the Taste team. We had planned to do a ‘magical, woodland themed wedding’, and none of the other caterers even came close to stepping up and sharing in our vision for the day as Steve and Charlotte. They understood instantly, from the very first phone call.

The food was a massive talking point, both on the day and afterwards - for the flavours, for the magical presentation, for the fact that they were so good that they were all taken as soon as they arrived in the room - Steve said afterwards that they fully ran out of all of the canapes! (I’ve been to weddings where you see servers carrying around the same neglected canape trays on repeat once people have tried them - we were so thrilled that wasn’t the case for ours). We had people that normally skip the vegetarian option not only try some of the veggies - but every plate was cleared (even with the substantial portions).

We cannot overstate how INCREDIBLE everything looked. The smoke, the feathers, the greenery all played into our theme of countryside, and just blew people away. “So much attention to detail! Even the fish and chip cones and the pizza boxes had been thought through!” - and we just have to say that all that magic, love and care came directly from Taste.

Not only that, but the serving staff were genuinely amazing - so attentive, and the guests all commented on how lovely, thoughtful and helpful they were - something that people don’t normally notice - but we had a lot of comments afterwards about how they were so warm and thoughtful.

For us personally - we spent the whole day feeling so taken care of. Charlotte was there all day helping manage guests, food flow and drinks - noticing things we hadn’t thought of and picking up the slack. Steve was amazing at keeping the steady flow of food coming all day - one of our vision words was “abundant” and they certainly delivered. Then looking after us all the way through the evening - they even prepared and hand delivered a couple of personal pizzas for us to take up to the honeymoon suite after dancing the night away. We felt seen, appreciated, and well taken care of - and we know the guests did as well.

The whole process in the run up to the actual day itself is worth mentioning too - Steve and Charlotte were amazing not only on the day, but in the weeks and months beforehand - helping us to define what we actually wanted; narrowing down a huge list of half baked ideas into our ideal menu - and then were incredibly patient through all of our suggestions and changes. Nothing seemed to phase them - they were always there for us through the whole process. Meetings in their cabin on-site were so fun; the tasting session was even better - Steve fully prepared the whole menu for us to see how everything would actually work in practice, and the only issue was how much we struggled to narrow down the options afterwards to a final menu for the day!

We cannot recommend Tate highly enough - not only was the food a genuine delight through the whole day, the presentation, the thought that went into it, the staff and the service were beyond our wildest dreams of what we could achieve with wedding catering. Their knowledge and expertise were second to none, and they were the calm in the middle of the storm of planning a wedding on three months’ notice. We went into the day with so many rough edges and things we hadn’t even considered - but Charlotte was always on hand to help, and Steve delivered above and beyond what we could have imagined.

This might all sound like over-hype - but check the pictures and videos from the day; and in their brochures (it’s what sold us on calling in in the first place). The photos aren’t from an advertising studio or a controlled environment - they’re real, served in the middle of the chaos of 130 guests roaming across the huge venue. We couldn’t be happier - all we need now is another event we can host to get them back into our lives! Thank you - we love you both!

We chose our wedding caterers from the list of recommended suppliers provided by Northbrook Park, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision.

From the very beginning, Steve and Charlotte were fantastic—friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in bringing our ideas to life. They really listened to what we wanted and were incredibly flexible, offering to create any style of cuisine we had in mind.

A few months before the wedding, we were invited to a private tasting with our parents, which was such a special experience. It gave us the chance to refine the menu, and nothing was ever too much trouble when it came to making adjustments.

On the day itself, Charlotte was absolutely amazing. Everything ran so smoothly and was so well organised, which made a huge difference to us. What really stood out was how much they looked after us as a couple—taking us aside to make sure we actually got to enjoy canapés and drinks during the day.

They also added thoughtful personal touches, like putting our names on the fish and chip cones and pizza boxes, which our guests loved. It’s those little details that made everything feel even more special.

Everyone commented on how great the food was throughout our wedding. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better caterers. They played such a big part in making our day unforgettable, and we would recommend them without hesitation.

We could not be happier that we asked Taste to cater for our wedding day, they are an exceptional team and so talented. Our wedding food was absolutely delicious, it was beautifully presented, the portions were spot on and the staff were so professional and friendly.

Steve, Charlotte and the team did the most fantastic job of catering for our wedding at Cissbury Barns this July.

Firstly, the food is incredible. So much better than any food we have ever tried from a caterer before. The food was one of the most complimented parts of the day with one guest comparing it to Michelin Star quality.
We chose to have a Spanish tapas theme for our canapés which worked really well and Steve approached this with genuine passion, you can tell he really loves to provide a personalised service and is up for new challenges.

The service was also excellent during both the drinks reception and meal and they allowed us to provide our guests with a good choice of drinks.

Taste have been so responsive and helpful during the entire process of organising the wedding, and dealt with some last minute changes smoothly. They were also so considerate of our guests with dietary requirements and made sure everyone was catered for.

The personal touches that Taste add to the canape trays are really special and make the presentation seamless.

I would absolutely recommend Taste for your event. They truly are a one in a million company.

We chose Taste for our wedding catering at Cissbury Barns in July, and they were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. They came recommended by both our venue and a friend who had experienced their food and service at a wedding the year before - she told us it was the best she’d ever had at a wedding, and now I can say exactly the same.

From the very first meeting with Steve and Charlotte, we felt in safe hands. They’re warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Taste is completely bespoke, so while we used some of their brilliant ideas for our canapés and starters, we created our own twist for the mains with a selection of pies, all of which were delicious.

The tasting at their kitchen was an experience in itself. It was incredible value for money, we were able to bring friends along, and they truly spoiled us with generous portions (we quickly realised why they’d told us not to eat beforehand!). Even our fussiest friend loved every single dish. We also got to choose from their beautiful range of crockery, cutlery, and glassware, which would be used on the big day.

In the run-up to the wedding, communication was flawless - quick responses to any questions and a detailed final meeting the month before gave us complete confidence. On the day itself, the service was seamless. The drinks flowed, canapés were plentiful, and Steve and Charlotte made sure we got to enjoy everything, setting food aside for us when needed. The wedding breakfast was served smoothly, everyone’s glasses stayed topped up, and the food was incredible. Even a month later, our guests are still telling us it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had.

The evening food was served directly to guests rather than left on a buffet, which meant no one missed out, although most guests were too full from the main meal still! Before leaving, Steve and Charlotte came to wish us well and even told us about their anniversary package, where they recreate your wedding menu in your own home - we will absolutely be booking that.

Taste exceeded every expectation. They made our wedding day even more memorable, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly. If you want flawless service, incredible food, and genuinely lovely people to work with - book them!

Taste did an incredible job providing the food for our wedding day. The team played a huge role in making the day magical and memorable and run seamlessly. Steve and Charlotte are utter professionals & are both so talented, so much so it’s easy to see why they have won so many awards! Doing our menu tasting was one of the highlights of our wedding journey, and got us very excited. Communication was fantastic from the offset, so we felt very assured going into the wedding, but my gosh did they deliver on the day. Canapés were truly showstopping and the dinner was absolutely incredible. We were so impressed they replicated the quality for over 100 people, especially with multiple choices per course.
Service was impeccable throughout and loved all their creative touches. We had many comments from friends and family saying hands down it was the best food and service at a wedding, which is testament to team Taste’s delivery and dedication. We don’t even know where to start because there aren’t the words to describe how incredible Charlotte and Steve are at their jobs! We absolutely loved the whole process leading up to our wedding from tasting, choosing our menu and theme, to the big day. We wanted a meat-free wedding and Steve was only too happy to get creative and present the most mouth-watering dishes that our guests couldn’t stop talking about. Their attention to detail with table decor and our centre pieces was extraordinary, especially because we had quite specific Disney themed designs!
Steve and Charlotte are two of the nicest people and are so flexible with your thoughts and ideas, we loved their whole approach throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

We got married (in the wind and rain!) at Cissbury Barns on 22nd August, and Taste Caterer did the most incredible job! We feel so lucky to have had them as our caterers, they were just amazing from day one!

Tom, Steve and Charlotte are THE actual dream team; right from the outset, we felt so well looked after, everything was bespoke to our requirements, nothing was too much trouble and the actual quality of all the food from our canapés to our evening food was just the best!!

Tom was such a delight to deal with – he was so organised, professional and friendly and provided us with lots of helpful advice and guidance. He was ever-present throughout the whole day, shielded me from the wind and rain, and made sure that both John and I had everything we needed!

Meeting Steve at our preliminary meeting was such a joy - hearing the way he spoke about food just further solidified that we’d made the right choice. Steve is an incredibly talented, passionate chef and this is clearly reflected in the amazing food he creates!

Charlotte created our wedding stationary which we were so pleased with – her designs were so polished and elegant, and were in perfect harmony with the rest of our wedding aesthetic! We have to mention our favourite bit which were the bespoke Schitts Creek themed table names with accompanying illustrations for each location – these were so beautiful and we loved them!

The whole team did such a wonderful job on the day; everyone was friendly, efficient and happy to help - we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guests gave us lots of amazing feedback about the food and the service, which is honestly the icing on top of the cake!

All in all, we would HIGHLY recommend Taste Caterer – if you’re looking, take this as a sign and go and book them right now!!

I could not have been happier with my choice in caterers for our wedding! Two years in the planning and right from the get go I have been so excited for that food! We had so many compliments on taste, presentation and quantities on the plates. They have been so easy to work with and they’ve taken out so much of the wedding planning stress. They really went above and beyond for us and all our guests on the day!

I cant praise the Taste team enough, Steve from start to finish was incredible and made the entire process so much fun, the tasting where we got to try our food was delicious and then the day itself, wow wow wow! Tom the events manager made us feel so so happy and took care of every tiny detail, not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was INCREDIBLE too.
