I cannot recommend these guys enough. Mark was super friendly and easy to chat to on our first zoom call. As an expert in this field, he made suggestions for is to consider that would make our lives easier and ensure we could have the best time. We took it all on board and he was so right! He was so responsive on email about anything we asked. Nothing was too much trouble.
The team on the day, headed by Chris were superb. They delivered all the food on time and even cut our cake for us. They had thoughts on where abouts to set up their kit on the day. It was even better than where we thought originally. They really know their stuff.
The food, let's be fair, the most important part, was simply sensational. Everyone was raving about the food. One of our guests enquired about travelling to them for his 40th birthday next year. He is deadly serious about that as well!
We had approximately 135 guests that day and they put on a lunch with big Pan's and sides, cut the cake a little time after and then put on a BBQ in the evening. All with ease, or at least it seemed like it to us.
They not only helped with food but we wanted a fridge trailer for drinks after seeing this another party. Man With A Pan were able to supply this also. That took something off our minds.
All this was done at a very reasonable price indeed! We had quotes that were far more. But those companies did far less, I.e were unable to supply the fridge trailer or did not have staff to clear up and hand out drinks. The staff made so much difference!
I could go on for ages about how epic they were. Thankyou so so much.

They guided us through wedding stress, and served the most incredible food on the day. So many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. These guys were just incredible from start to finish, so speedy with responses, able to be flexible and change our requirements on the go! They were really good with phone calls and zooms on the run up to our big day - and managed to split all their staffing team across anywhere we needed them. The guests are still commenting on the paella and late night snacks - absolutely delicious and where to the serve so we can go and get some more 😂

Mark and the whole team were nothing but amazing. From the get go, they really helped us shape our food menu for our wedding in Hampshire, fine tuning it to our specific needs and also adapting to the ever changing number of guests that me and my partner were figuring out with the wedding.

The tasting day was one of our personal highlights when planning our wedding, then Carla the front out house manager took everything we had planned and ran with it seamlessly so we did not bat an eye lid during the day.

At the event, the food was highlighted by multiple guests, and i can safely say that no glass was left unfilled. The staff were professional and fun. No questions at all during the run up or day of, just solutions matched with incredible food and service.

We were completely blown away by Mark and his team at Man with a Pan. We decided to go for a fully vegetarian menu for our wedding, and the feedback from our guests was phenomenal - everybody absolutely LOVED the food (even the hardcore meat-eaters were raving about it!).

Communication in the lead-up was great - Mark and Clara were across everything and gave us complete peace of mind. On the day, the team ran everything seamlessly, from start to finish, including the evening bar. We’d asked that no guest ever have an empty glass, and they absolutely delivered - attentive, friendly, and effortlessly on top of everything.

We used Man With A Pan for the catering of our wedding and absolutely loved the service they provided. The food was brilliant, plentiful, varied, and made on time. Our guests were all going up for seconds (and some thirds). Mark was very helpful regarding food choices and preparation and Carla was amazing at organising all the finer details that we had no clue about! On our big day, Carla was brilliant and sought us out with food and drinks to make sure that we were having a perfect time.

People are still raving about the food two weeks on. People have said it is the best wedding food they ever had. We were absolutely thrilled with the catering for our wedding at Poppydown Vineyard. From start to finish, the team were an absolute dream to work with – communication was excellent from day one, and everything ran so smoothly on the day.

Such incredible food - so many people raved about how good it was. The process of booking was smooth and straightforward, with an excellent online system that made it easy to share diary availability and keep track of details. From the initial consultation, Mark was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu options. He understood the vision we had for family-style dining and tailored the menu to fit perfectly, offering thoughtful suggestions and showing real flexibility in meeting our preferences.

Communication
Throughout the planning process, communication was excellent. The team were always quick to respond to any questions or adjustments, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They were reassuring, organised, and worked seamlessly with us in the lead-up to the day.

The Day Itself
On the day, the setup and organisation were faultless. The tables were beautifully laid, and everything ran to time. The front-of-house team, led by Carla, were exceptional—working tirelessly from 10am right through to 11:30pm. They ensured guests were well looked after, ran the bar with professionalism, packed down tables efficiently, and helped manage the overall flow of the day. Their presence brought a calm and polished atmosphere, and many of our guests commented on how smooth everything felt.

The Food
And then… the food! Simply delicious. The tagines served with cous cous, flatbreads, and salad were full of flavour and generously portioned—so much so that we enjoyed the leftovers for lunch the next day! The evening BBQ was also a highlight, with one guest describing it as “out of this world.” The live outdoor cooking setup was a great touch and something our guests loved watching.

Final Thoughts
We had so many compliments about the food and service, and multiple guests asked us where we had found such an incredible team. We would wholeheartedly recommend Mark and his team to anyone planning a wedding or event. Their professionalism, warmth, and quality of service played a huge part in making our day unforgettable.

Honestly I don’t know where to even to begin with how thankful we are to Mark, Carla (the wedding coordinator) and the team. You all were smiles, nothing was an inconvenience, you all were so professional, attentive and so kind and lovely. All our guests thought you and your team were great and of course loved the food.

The food was delicious, we had Paella and wow so yummy, the puds were divine, my toddler was in heaven with his chocolate mouse! As well as the evening food Bah Mi! So thank you Mark and to your chefs!

Mark and his amazing team catered for our wedding last weekend. They communicated very well throughout the whole preparations process.
