JD Catering Services is a bespoke catering company based in Canterbury, Kent, specialising in modern British cuisine using local and seasonal ingredients.
Our team is dedicated to making every booking personalised to your needs. We work very closely with our clients to ensure the menu matches their budget & requirements, whatever the occasion.
We cater for all allergies, dietary requirements & intolerances and can provide a wide variety of different options.
We offer 3 & 5 Course meals, canapes, bread courses & petit fours.
We offer BBQ Packages, including canapes & desserts for a more relaxed dining style.
We also have a gourmet buffet option, which includes an array of local meat, fish, and vegetable-based dishes.

Outstanding and flexible service, great food
James and his team catered for our wedding at Crown Lodge in Wye. From initial communications, James was responsive and helped us to create a menu for our wedding day that suited our tastes. Guests with special dietary needs were also catered for with no fuss, both during the pre-ordered wedding breakfast and during evening buffet options. On the day James and his team were helpful and professional, resulting in a seamless service. The food itself was excellent including canapes, a three course wedding breakfast, and evening BBQ buffet. James was also prepared for changes on the day - the weather meant unfortunately an outdoor BBQ wasn't possible (heavy rain and strong wind), however had a backup plan to ensure the evening menu could still be served regardless. Outstanding service and would recommend.

Catered for our wedding
James and his team were amazing! I was the most difficult bride in the back and forth of what I wanted and James but nothing but patient and kind and we finally settled on a BBQ followed by pizzas.
His team were amazing on the day. Professional, clean, tidy and always made sure my husband and I had food and drink. I especially appreciated the every flavour of cake appearing on our table (thank you again!).
I would definitely recommend and look forward to booking them again.

Fantastic experience!
We recently had James cater our wedding in the woods. He did a fantastic job and we cannot recommend him highly enough. The food was great, the service was great, the vibes were great - what a good show from this young man and his team. He should be proud. Only been going a few years but already has a catering business Gordon Ramsey would be jealous of! Thanks again!

Very happy memories
It was a wonderful experience creating a menu for my daughters wedding with james. He was completely on board with the theme of the wedding and created fantastic food that suited all our guest from vegans to meat eaters. We have many happy memories of that day and having the food completely taken care of gave me the opportunity to be to enjoy every moment.
I recomand JD catering to anyone who wants wonderful stress free food on their wedding day.

A truly memorable meal
James and his team were totally wonderful to work with. From the first point of contact, whilst casting around for quotes and ideas from various caterers, James was very responsive and really understood what we were asking for and the nature of our meal.
In theory it was a fairly straightforward request: a three-course, sit-down meal (with canapés beforehand) for 20 people. The snag: the kitchen was four floors higher! James saw this as no problem and was pragmatic and solved problems readily: he considered the menu choices and then made arrangements to hire a catering trolley.
The food was superb. The canapés were mouth-watering and morish - everyone then waiting eagerly for the meal itself - and the lunch was excellent: full of flavour and beautifully presented.
Everyone had had a choice between two dishes for each course (notified in advance) and James was mindful to check for any dietary requirements.
The experience was so good that, a few months later, I booked JD Catering Services again for a gourmet buffet lunch. Again it was a wonderful experience - and I don't think a recommendation could come stronger than that.
