Pretty Tasty is an award-winning bakery in the village of Wimpole near Cambridge that specialises in sugar paste wedding cakes and other sweet treats. Owner Nadia and her team of bakers have years of experience in the cake business, with options ranging from two-inch-tall to six-foot-tall creations. They specialise in bespoke sugar paste cakes and create a variety of design elements in-house, from lovely sugar flowers to custom monograms, from toppers to piped detailing.

At Pretty Tasty, they like to design cakes as individual as you are!
Whether you prefer something classic and romantic or vibrant and whimsical, they can come up wth a design to match your day. With their from-scratch recipes and high-quality ingredients, Nadia will be ready to create cakes that taste as good as they look. They can also accommodate dietary needs, offering gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan cakes.
In addition to the main wedding cake, Pretty Tasty can also create macarons, cupcakes and a variety of biscuits, including classic Swiss biscuits and custom iced bites. Cutting cakes and pre-cut cakes are also available.

The more notice, the better. Our diary is open a minimum of 2 years ahead. However, even at short notice, it is sometimes possible that we can accommodate your date, so don't hesitate to get in touch

Yes, delivery charges depend on mileage. At some close by venues delivery might be free of charge

There is no limit on the amount of tiers. We make all sorts of cakes from tiny single portions to huge cakes for big events

Best wedding cake and top quality service!
Nadia was so lovely and accommodating. We changed our cake design quite a few times before deciding on the final one and she was extremely patient whilst also giving us suggestions and recommendations on what was feasible. We got a taster kit and all the sample cake flavours were delicious! We eventually settled on the marble cake, and it was truly the best cake we'd ever tasted. We got so many compliments on our wedding day about how beautiful and tasty the cake was. Compared to other cake suppliers we had asked for quotes from, Nadia's cakes are extremely value for money, and so delicious - 100% would recommend!

A showpiece of a cake, exquisite design and delicious cake
From the very start Nadia was fantastic to work with, listening to my thoughts and helping me to shape my ideas. We had so much fun with the tasters deciding what flavours to go for (lemon and elderflower, pistachio and honey). Nadia was a star working with our florist to design the cake to fit with our flower choices and to make the sugar paste flowers on the cake (no one believed they were not real flowers) so that they matched the varieties and colours in my bouquet. Even when we had a bit of a panic about the size of the hoop, Nadia worked tirelessly over weekends to ensure that I was happy with the result. I had so many compliments on the cake on the day and it was great to be able to offer my guests with allergies a free-from cupcake equivalent which were just as pretty as the cake. Even better is that the flowers have all survived the cake cutting so I can recreate a display to remember it! I now have the top tier in the freezer and am looking forward to reliving the experience for our first anniversary.

Amazing wedding cake
Our wedding cake was absolutely incredible and our experience was amazing from start to finish.
The taster selection we received to choose our layers was beautifully presented and delivered so quickly. There wasn’t one flavour we didn’t like so the only struggle was choosing between them all!
Nadia was so quick at replying to queries and made the lead up to the wedding seamless by liaising with the venue and florist directly to arrange delivery and decoration.
The cake itself was beautiful and so delicious - it disappeared so quickly which is a testament to how well it went down with all of our guests!
We couldn’t recommend Pretty Tasty more!

Absolutely Fabulous Wedding Cake
We wanted to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible wedding cake that Nadia created for our special day. It was a true masterpiece that delighted our senses and was enjoyed by all.
The cake's exquisite design and delicious flavours exceeded our expectations. It became the centrepiece of our reception and left our guests raving about its beauty and taste.
Anything we wanted on the cake, any ideas we had, Nadia absolutely went above and beyond to make this happen!

Beautiful cake and lovely lady!
We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Nadia, it was actually one of the least stressful and most favourite parts of our wedding prep. Going over to Nadia’s for a tasting was so fun!
Onto the cake, it’s hard to describe how talented this lady is, she took our vision of a fairly plain and modern cake on a colour scheme and upped it to the next level and the level after that adding a hexagonal shaped layer and some stunning stencilling, different flavours on each layer and fresh flowers to match our bouquets on the top. She also fully complied with our budget and made sure it was exactly what we wanted sending us different design ideas over a few weeks. Seeing the cake having arrived on the day sitting there was an extremely joyful moment. As you can see from the photos the cake is immaculate with extremely high craftsmanship and attention to detail. Nadia delivered over and above for a very reasonable price and we can’t thank her enough!
