Our Grade II-listed 17th-century Tythe Barn, with over 400 years of agricultural heritage, provides a breathtaking backdrop for your special day. Our beautifully repurposed Old Cattle Shed offers a versatile, contemporary space for up to 200 guests, perfect for ceremonies and drinks receptions. Thoughtfully designed, it blends modern finishes with subtle industrial features that pay homage to its past.
With multiple indoor spaces, a stunning outdoor courtyard licensed for ceremonies, and expansive countryside surroundings, there are endless opportunities to create unforgettable moments and capture beautiful photographs.

Perfect in every way!
My husband and I got married in May 2026 and had the most perfect day from start to finish. The food, the venue, and the staff were all amazing. A special thank you to Megan, who looked after us throughout the whole process - she was outstanding. Calm, reassuring, organised, and incredibly efficient, she made the whole day feel effortless and even more memorable.
If you’re looking for a venue just outside Cambridge, Manor Barn is the one! So many of our guests complimented the venue and commented on how much they loved it.

We couldn’t recommend this venue enough!
It was the first venue that we visited, and nothing else that we saw came close. The venue itself is stunning, perfectly sized for our just over 100 guests, and a great location 15 minutes from Cambridge. The biggest endorsement though is for the people who make it all happen - any idea or query we had was always met with “we can definitely do that” or “we can work out how to do that”. Communication throughout the months of planning was always prompt, friendly, and professional. Some highlights were sourcing a few of our favourite beers from Milton Brewery and providing an evening cheese board of our selections. The flexibility from the venue in helping bring the vision of our day to life is unmatched by anywhere else we saw.
On the Friday when we were setting up, I think Charlotte must have said “you don’t need to worry about that tomorrow, I will sort it” about 100 times. She was absolutely correct. Every detail or thing that needed to happen on the day happened without any input or knowledge from us. From the large items like getting through the day’s timeline and liaising with other suppliers on the day, to the small details like ensuring we both had a beer straight away after the ceremony and some cheese waiting for us in the accommodation - Charlotte had it all covered. This extended to Ali, Nancy, and all the other staff.
The food was excellent, we have had so many comments from our guests about the fantastic quality of the canapes, wedding breakfast, and evening food. At the private food tasting we were able to try a selection of the menu and speak to the chef directly with any thoughts that we had about any of the dishes and specific alternatives for our dietary requirement guests. Again, highlighting the flexibility and personal approach of the venue.
Having access to the venue from Friday made getting in, setting up, and rehearsing a much calmer experience and the same on Sunday morning when packing away. The evening team had boxed up and prepared all of our items so that we could load up the cars and head off. Just another example of the hosting of Manor Barn making the whole wedding experience as smooth as possible.
The on site accommodation, both the Hayloft and new Milking Shed were excellent and provided the perfect base for the Bridesmaids on the Friday and us on the Saturday along with a couple who had travelled a long way to celebrate with us.
We unfortunately had two guests affected by the extreme heat on the day, which the team dealt with discreetly and extremely professionally. Something that could have affected the day was handled expertly.
Overall we couldn’t recommend this venue enough. It is beautifully kept and has great authentic character, elevated to the highest level by the attention to detail and hosting skills of the people that work there.
May 2026 Wedding
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for our wedding. The food was incredible and received so many compliments from our guests; the attention to detail was clear in everything that was served.
The staff were excellent throughout the entire weekend—friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. We felt completely looked after and were able to enjoy every moment knowing everything was in such capable hands.
A special thank you has to go to Charlotte, who was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and was always on hand to answer questions and offer support. Her guidance made everything feel so much easier. We'd also like to thank Ali, who was fantastic on the day itself and helped ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish and that our family and friends had everything they needed.
We would recommend The Manor Barn to any couple looking for a stunning venue, amazing food and drinks and a team that truly goes above and beyond to create an unforgettable wedding experience.
The dreamiest of wedding venues
A huge special mention has to go to Megan, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. She was organised, reassuring, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. Having someone so dedicated and supportive made such a difference and took so much stress away from us.
The quality of the food and drinks was exceptional, so many of our guests commented on how amazing everything was. It really exceeded our expectations and felt like fantastic value for money considering the level of service, attention to detail, and overall experience we received.
Our wedding day was genuinely perfect, and if we were ever planning to do it all again, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to choose Manor Barn Harlton again. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We were very fortunate enough to not have anything go wrong on the day and any query that arose was dealt with with professionalism and thoughtfulness. Kerry was incredibly attentive, checking in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed and the day ran so smoothly.
The barn and grounds are the perfect setting and so much care and attention has gone into the smallest of details. We couldn’t recommend them more and would love to be able to do it all over again.

The food, the actual venue, the staff, the location. Genuinely cannot fault it. Plus the on-site accommodation is BEAUTIFUL.

I absolutely love getting to know each couple and what makes their story unique. No two weddings should ever feel the same, and I’m passionate about helping you create a day that truly reflects you both.
With a calm, organised and friendly approach and a genuine love for weddings, I’ll be on hand to offer advice, answer questions, and make sure everything runs seamlessly - so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
My favourite part of the job? Seeing everything come together on the day and watching our couples take it all in (often with a happy tear or two!).
