Helen is amazing!! To highly recommend her would be an understatement. I am a huge cake lover so our wedding cake was an important part of our day (to me anyway) and she did not disappoint.
She went above and beyond for our wedding in March from meeting for a cake tasting to setting up on the day she kept in touch not just about cake but to ask how the planning was going in general which was so lovely a real personal touch!

We had a 3 Tier cake our flavours where Pistachio, Chocolate and Lemon all of them where absolutely perfect and so delicious!
She accommodated important guests who where gluten or dairy free and made us beautiful cupcakes to go along side our wedding cake and also made the beautiful gypsophelia spiral for us that you can see on the picture all I have posted.

I will absolutely be using Helen again for birthdays or events in future I can’t wait to work with her again she’s a gem and a cake genius. 💕

Helen produces the most magnificent cake I have ever seen! We had so many compliments about the design, not to mention how delicious it was (we served it for our pudding and it went down a treat!). It was so lovely to meet Helen and she kindly let us try lots of tasters ahead of making our flavour decisions. A really personal approach to the most professional cake production. Helen was a joy to work with and a lot more reasonably priced than other quotes we had. I sent Helen a picture of the exact cake I wanted her to make and she replicated it perfectly. We had a free cake tasting session where we had multiple flavours to choose from. We picked 4 to try and then picked our three favourite for our three tiered wedding cake. I’m not a cake fan and definitely not usually a fan of raspberry, but we tried the white chocolate and raspberry and it was absolutely delicious, I could not get enough of it so choose that for our bottom tier. We were torn between the red velvet and salted caramel for the top tier and went with the salted caramel which was beautiful. We played it safe for the middle tier and went for vanilla and strawberry.
Usually after a wedding, the bride and groom have plenty of wedding cake left to take home and freeze, not a single slice of ours was left. Luckily my groom had asked the hotel to save us a quarter of the bottom tier 🙌🏽
I cannot recommend Helen highly enough, her cakes are 2nd to none.

I have no idea which higher being was guiding me when I was looking for someone to make our wedding cake, but I’m eternally grateful to have found Helen’s Cakery!

From the second we made contact with Helen, to the moment we laid eyes and tasted the finished product, it has been nothing short of perfection…if not beyond so.

I asked for a Mexican wedding cake design, and boy, did Helen deliver that, and more (including gluten-free cupcakes for our niece)! The wedding cake was a surprise for my now wife, with flavour tiers consisting of chocolate, St Clements and classic Vanilla (Victoria Sponge). {This is where I blow a IMMENSE chef’s kiss!}.

The hugely detailed and intricate design work blew us away. I knew it was going to be good, I just didn’t realise to what extent! My now wife, upon seeing the cake, had her breath taken away, then cried tears of joy! It was so emotional, even the cake was in tiers! (A joke from my wedding speech!)

Helen’s professional, patience, advice and above all else friendliness and care, is second to none.

One last thing. And nobody tell Helen I said this next bit, because I’ll deny it…. I was terrified about how much the cake might cost to make, appreciating how much time and effort would need to go in to making it. When Helen gave me her price I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a LOT less than I expected. And when I finally saw the cake on our wedding day, I would have happily paid double the amount!

Please, please, please, I implore you to ask Helen to make your cake, whatever the occasion. We, for one, will not even consider going elsewhere for any of ours.

Finally,, to Helen: Thank you! You are nothing short of wonderful and amazing. A true master artist, who cares deeply about her profession and clients.

Helen’s service was fantastic. From inviting us to her premises to try the cakes to delivering on the day, everything was perfect - and the cakes were delicious too! Highly recommend.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Helen and her cakes enough. We had three cakes; a Victoria sponge, chocolate and carrot cake. Helen helped guide me on size and styling as well as offering a delivery service.
All three cakes were delicious; all of our guests were blown away and kept going back for more.
Whenever I need an occasion cake I’ll be going back to Helen!!

I needed a gluten free birthday cake and Helen’s cake was absolutely gorgeous as you can see from the photo. Highly recommended.

Helen supplied catering for a party of 30 people and a beautiful cake for my sisters 40th birthday. Food was absolutely superb, homemade fresh and everyone loved it. The cake was beautiful, lovely design and great attention to detail. Highly recommended!

I've always wanted the experience of visiting a cake maker and tasting the different flavours like you see in the movies and Helen made that happens for us. We booked a tasting consultation at her home and was able to try all her available flavours and it was just what I wanted. Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect and tasted even better. We even had the bridal party visiting us after the wedding to collect more cake to bring home. We ended up having to change our venue and Helen was very accommodating. Delivery was on time and our cake looked beautiful all set up on its table. Highly recommend 10/10.

Helen made our cakes for our wedding day on the 6th October 2024 and they not only looked lovely but were delicious and enjoyed by all.

Helen supplied a beautiful and delicious anniversary cake! The ordering process was super easy and stressful free (despite time zone difference). I shared a couple of photos of designs I liked and Helen brought those ideas to life.
We picked Chocolate orange cake which went down so well. Absolutely everyone had cakes and some of us had seconds!
If you are looking for a celebration cakes I would highly recommend Helen.
