From start to finish Helen has been a pleasure to work with. She invited us to her house, where we tried so many delicious cakes in her beautiful kitchen. We took them home and ate for days!
She gave us so many options for gluten and dairy free versions which was perfect. She also gave us the idea of a cupcake tower, instead of a traditional wedding cake, which worked amazingly well. No cake was wasted, as guests could easily eat the cupcakes the next day. We loved salted caramel, carrot cake, lemon and black forest gateau, but Helen makes all the flavors well! She delivered the cake on time, the morning of the wedding, and it was so easy for us knowing everything was already in place.

We discovered Helen’s Cakery through her impressive website and Instagram page, showcasing her exquisite cake designs. After reaching out, Helen promptly responded and kindly invited us to her home for a cake tasting.

From the moment we met Helen, she was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She invited us into her home and had prepared a delightful selection of cake flavors for us to sample. We had pre-selected the flavors we were interested in, and after tasting them, we chose our top three favorites. Helen’s artistic background was evident as she sketched a design for our wedding cake, perfectly incorporating inspiration photos we provided.

Throughout the planning process, communication with Helen via WhatsApp was smooth and efficient. We needed to adjust some flavors due to guest allergies, and Helen handled these changes seamlessly. On our wedding day, Helen delivered the cake directly to our venue and set it up beautifully, integrating some of our floral arrangements into the final design.

In our opinion, Helen’s cakes are the best in the area. After considering various local vendors, we found that others couldn’t match Helen’s quality, or flexibility with flavours.

Overall, we were thrilled with our wedding cake and highly recommend Helen’s Cakery!

It was an incredible experience from first message to follow up one after the wedding. She was kind and patient with our disabled daughter at the cake tasting. The final cake was incredible we chose oreo&chocolate. The cake was stunning all the intricate details were incredible. We had sugar flowers. The woman went above and beyond. We couldn’t be happier. Our guests loved it.

This was a last minute request for a wedding cake for an extra celebration. I asked Helen only 1 week before the event! She very kindly agreed to squeeze us into her busy schedule & made everything so easy. Between us we decided upon a design. She was extremely helpful. She came up with the best filling ever! Chocolate sponge with vanilla & chocolate chip buttercream! One week later we picked up the beautifully boxed up cake. It looked absolutely amazing & tasted delicious! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Helen & would definitely use her services again!

Our family has used Helen a few times for cakes now so I knew I needed them for our wedding day. We had cupcakes with a cutting tier and it was all absolutely amazing. Special shout out to the white chocolate and raspberry flavour, amazing! We will definitely be using Helen for future events!!
