About
**WEDDING FAIR - 9th March 2024 12.pm - 3pm ** Come along, see our fabulous building, function space and some of our characterful bedrooms.
The White Swan is a historic inn and pub in the quaint village of Stratford Upon Avon, England. Dating back to 1450, this 500-year-old building also serves as an unforgettable and iconic wedding venue. The pub was originally owned by Robert Perrott, a brewer, and kept by his brother William. In 1588, Robert's granddaughter Susanne Woodward married Richard Tyler, a childhood friend of William Shakespeare. Couples who wed here will do so knowing that the legendary bard of Avon once drank in the same hallowed halls where they are tying the knot.
Facilities and Capacity
Civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts at The White Swan are held in the Capulet and Montague rooms. These stunning, stylish suites are entirely private and hold up to 100 guests. The rooms can also be divided into two for smaller events. Both areas are equipped with plasma screens that can be used for videos or slideshows. For intimate soirees of up to 16 people, the Snug will be at your disposal. This is the most historic corner of the hotel and is conveniently situated adjacent to the bar.
