Ellie Murphy is the proud owner and beautician of this business. With over 8 years of experience to her name, this professional loves to create one-of-a-kind styles that flawlessly showcases her clients’ natural beauty. Having completed her formal training at Brushstroke, Shepperton Film Studios, Ellie combines her theoretical and practical skills with your ideas for inspired looks. All services at Elligance Hair & Makeup can begin with trials. Here, you and your wedding entourage can have your envisioned styles achieved. During trials, Ellie takes into consideration your visions, skin tones, natural features, and hair length. When it comes to your hair, your wedding theme can often influence the final touches. Whether it’s a vintage, boho, or traditional theme, Ellie is on-hand to make sure that your hair compliments and matches your big day’s aesthetic. Using top-of-the-range products, this artist can fabricate a style that withstands your entire day and flatters your natural beauty. On the day of your wedding, Ellie can come to your location and reapply your styles as you relax and look forward to the festivities ahead.

What is included in the wedding package?
I offer Hair & Makeup services for Brides and Bridal party. I offer 3 different types of packages - Blushing Bride, Elegant Bride & LUXE Bride. This can be found via my website
How far in advance should I contact you?
Brides usually book at least a year in advance so I would advise to book sooner rather than later. Especially if your wedding is in the summer months!
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel fee will be assessed and added to the initial payment for the trial, then again for the initial wedding payment. This will be charged at 50p per mile from a 10 mile radius of the RH12 Postcode
What is your main business area?
Make up
Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
It all depends on timings! As long as plenty of time has been given, I can beautify larger bridal parties even if this means myself getting another Artist to help on the day!
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes

When only the best will do
So super happy to have found Ellie to do my hair and make for my wedding. At my trial we discussed the look I wanted, and on my wedding day we slightly tweaked things. Ellie also did hair and make for my bridal party, to help make us all look stunning.
Ellie and Erin, who came along to help, were both professional, very calm and friendly.

Bride, flower girl and bridesmaids hair!
Ellie has been my hairdresser for several years, and she continues to impress me with her fairness, skill, and genuine care for her clients. She styled my bridal hair, as well as my flower girl and two of my bridesmaids, and she was absolutely fantastic throughout.
Her work was efficient and professional, yet she remained warm, approachable, and completely open to questions or adjustments—never once making me feel rushed or judged. Ellie is truly lovely and gets along with everyone she meets.

One word amazing!
I honesty couldn’t have been happier with my wedding hair and makeup. From the trial to the wedding day, everything was handled with professionalism, care and attention to detail. I felt listen to and everything was exactly how I wanted it but better! Both my hair and makeup lasted beautifully and I felt the best version of myself. I would 100% recommend and can’t thank Ellie enough x

The perfect start to our wedding day
Ellie was absolutely lovely and so personable from the moment she arrived. She brought such a calm, reassuring presence to the wedding morning and really helped set a relaxed tone for the day. With 8 of us to get ready for a 1pm ceremony, I was expecting at least a little stress or panic, but there was none at all — Ellie was completely in control and incredible from start to finish.
She was amazing with my 2-year-old, which meant so much to me and made the morning even more special. She truly was the icing on the cake while we were getting ready. I received so many compliments on how beautiful I looked, and that is entirely down to Ellie’s amazing work.
She listened carefully to my feedback and tweaked everything to absolute perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend Ellie without hesitation.

Me and my 5 bridesmaids!
Ellie was absolutely amazing from booking her to the big day! I felt listened to, guided and amazing on my wedding day. I had 5 bridesmaids which was a big task! Ellie was happy to arrange another artist which was great. She is made sure on the day I was happy with my hair and makeup and I felt beautiful!

Would highly recommend!
I cannot recommend Ellie enough. I felt incredible on my wedding day. We also had a hair and makeup trial and Ellie was incredible throughout the whole process. She listened to what I wanted and advised what she thought would work best for me. I wish she could do my hair and makeup every day! Such reasonable prices too!

Beautiful hair and makeup for my wedding
Ellie was a great hair and makeup artist for my wedding.
Her communication was top notch from the start, sending me a quote quite quickly with clear details of what was included in the package. She also was quite flexible and she was able to bring two assistants (one hair dresser and one make-up artist) to help have a later start, which was great for me as I am not a morning person.
Organising the trial was a tiny bit chaotic, but that's in big part because I wasn't able to get a day off during the week and weekend days are limited.
On the day, Ellie was great: she was really cheerful, efficient, adaptable (I decided 3 days before my wedding to add some pearls to my hair and she was fully fine with that), very patient (especially despite the barrier language with my French family) and both her and her assistants' work was outstanding. It really helped to make the morning fun and stress-free.

Exceptional professional!
Where do I start? I reached out to so many different professionals but Ellie immediately stood out with her beautiful and elegant portfolio for both makeup and hair. She was incredibly responsive from the very first message and I just knew she would be the one.

Ellie was amazing!
Ellie did my hair and make up for my wedding and she was amazing!! From the trial all the way through to the touch ups just before the ceremony, she made me feel beautiful.
She really listened to any changes I wanted to make. She was easy to talk to and all of my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair too! My sister cant stop talking about how much she loved it!
My make up lasted ALL DAY without me touching it up (only lippy with the cute kit she got for me!). My hair lasted me until the FOLLOWING DAY! So glam!

Couldn’t have chosen better!
I was impressed with Ellie from the get go! She was so kind and accommodating, the trial went really well, she answered any questions I had no matter how silly or small and was so lovely to chat to. My wedding day went so smoothly and she helped me to feel at ease. She fit right in with my bridal crew and was so professional and friendly! More than happy to pose for getting ready shots too which have come out beautifully! My makeup was stunning and I’ve never felt more beautiful!! It was so light, didn’t feel cakey at all and lasted amazingly throughout the day and night! Considering I probably had over 1000 photos taken that day, I genuinely love how I look in every single one and I have Ellie to thank for that! Have gone on to purchase some of the products she used because I loved how it looked. Would recommend again and again!!!

Elligance wedding hair and makeup
Ellie did my bridal hair and makeup and my bridesmaids and mother of the bride makeup. She was incredible from start to finish. At my trial she understood exactly what I was after and replicated it on the day to absolute perfection. I felt like such a princess. Our makeup and hair held throughout the entire day and we looked as beautiful at the start as we did at the end! I could not recommend Ellie enough! She absolutely nailed it.

Absolutely Amazing Wedding Makeup Artist!
