Perfect Day!
Thank you so so much for our perfect day! From the minute we saw Wellington Barn we knew it was the place for us & it really made for a special day. Dave, you and all your staff were fantastic in the build up & took care of every little detail and on the day, Dave you were awesome! Always there when needed but never intrusive. Everyone commented the next day on how beautiful the venue was but also on how friendly & helpful all the staff were - Thank you so much (again!)

Just totally perfect!
I cannot begin to thank Dave and all the staff at Wellington Barn enough for what I can only describe as the best day of both our lives. From the moment we set eyes on the barn we knew it was where we would hold our wedding reception and we were so impressed with Dave's enthusiasm and passion at our first meeting. Emails were always answered promptly, no matter how small the query. We were both impressed with the way we were able to design our own menu, by sitting down with the chef - It was all so exciting. Dave was just fantastic through all the planning, especially during the week leading up to the wedding when we experienced changes to the numbers at the last minute and discovering the best man had a nut allergy he had failed to mention until two days before the wedding! Dave's composure never faltered. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it to be and more. The staff at the barn so helpful and polite and all our guests commented on the welcoming atmosphere of the place. All the food was amazing, beautifully presented, locally sourced produce which really impressed all our guests - it was all delicious. And the setting and the barn itself are just stunning, the perfect backdrop for photographs. The whole service provided by Wellington Barn is absolutely first class and Dave really takes all the worry out of the whole process. He helped us to find a DJ and even booked the DJ for us which we were so grateful for. Dave was a real rock in the week leading up the wedding, we cannot thank him enough.

Highly Recommended.
Dear David, I am writing to thank you and your staff for providing such a wonderful reception for Lily and Thom’s wedding last Friday. The food was excellent and your staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and efficient. The setting under the downs was as magnificent as one could wish especially with the beautiful weather. Every guest I have spoken to seems to think much the same, and although I don’t expect you need it, I should be happy to recommend your establishment to anyone.

Fabulous wedding day.
We had such a brilliant day and our guests had lots of nice things to say that we wanted to pass on. The food tasted amazing, looked stunning and was served really well. the menu choices were so lovely we found it very hard to choose. All of our guests commented on how delicious everything was, right through to the excellent fish and chips in the evening!We are so glad we chose Wellington Barn for our reception, everything was perfect. Thankyou again for everything.

You turned the dream into reality!
We cannot thank you and your staff enough for all the hard work you put into making Karis and Chris' wedding such a fantastic occassion - everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all so polite, helpful and hardworking - you all took the pressure off us. The food was amazing, from the beautiful canapes to the wedding breakfast. My brother has said it was the best vegetarian meal he had ever had! There are not enough superlatives to describe the service you provided for us. It was jus the most perfect, magical day and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. There is no doubt we will recommend you; you delivered everything you promised, and more!

We would like to thank Dave,Leslie, the Chef and all of the staff for all of their hard work,advice and for making our Wedding day everything we hoped it would be. Everything was so professional yet relaxed and our guests were 'blown away' by the setting and views. The Barn looked stunning and it even took my breath away when I saw the reception room beautifully laid out. The food was stunning and we would highly recommend Wellington Barn for an amazing day.

Superb venue and service
We would like to thank you for the way you managed Ben and Abby's wedding last Saturday. Not only was the venue superb, the food delicious, and the staff friendly and efficient, but the way you directed the proceedings was relaxed but at the same time very professional. It was exactly the right combination to soothe wedding nerves. We feel the whole event was exceptionally good value for money and we would have no hesitation in recommending the barn to anyone for a special occasion. Many Thanks for all your help.

Totally fantastic
What a fantastic day we had on Saturday. As none of our guests had been to the Barn before, they weren't quite sure what to expect but they were absolutely bowled over with the views. Many of them said they had been to weddings with beautiful formal gardens but they were not a patch on the natural and open countryside that surrounds the Barn. And the inside didn't disappoint either!! Please pass on our thanks to the Chef, as you know the food was particularly important to us - and it far exceeded our expectations. As one of our guests put it 'that was the best food I've ever had at a wedding'. I was just cross that I was so full up - I was determined to eat all the dessert - that I couldn't manage any of the chocolates. Loved the cake of cheese, it looked great, again struggled to find any room to have any!! And even though many had said they couldn't eat another thing, once the mini fish and chips came out ................., well enough said!! We had a truly amazing day. It was just what we wanted, it felt very relaxed - certainly Kelly and Ru looked so at ease and happy - they felt it was the best day ever!! Please pass on our sincere thanks to all your staff - they were so helpful and friendly. You have a very good team working for you, who certainly made our day very enjoyable. Thank you all so much,
