Welcome to West Barn Lodge!
A stunning rural wedding venue with luxury accommodation based just outside Salisbury, South West Wiltshire. We run a mix of weekday and weekend weddings we have several packages for you to choose from:
- Full Package - 3 night stay, Friday - Monday (with or without on-site ceremony)
- Weekend Package - 2 night stay, Friday - Sunday (with or without on-site ceremony)
What is included?
Included in the price we offer 5* accommodation in the form of 9 ensuite Super King bedrooms for up to 18 guests, Games Room, Hot Tub, Grand Hall (with seating and dining) and Kitchen. This accommodation is right on the doorstep of The Dutch Barn so allows you to have a completely relaxed start (and end) to your day!
There is the option of having an on site ceremony in one of our many locations or getting married elsewhere and hosting the reception with us. In addition the entire venue is exclusively yours from the day of your arrival until you leave, giving you all the breathing space you need to prepare for your special day.
The Ceremony and Reception
For the ceremony there are several locations within the grounds to say I Do, The Courtyard being the biggest space available and seating up to 150 guests. If you wish to get married elsewhere we also offer The Dutch Barn for a reception only event and can provide you with a set of local and highly recommended suppliers to help you in the planning process. With the hire of the barn we provide tables (either rustic round or long), cross-back chairs, illuminated bar, giant disco ball, PA system, HD projector, underfloor heating, toilets and a catering grade kitchen. For the bar it can either be paid or self-served, we do not charge corkage so you can enjoy your day without hidden charges or costs.
We are a family run venue with a high attention to detail and because of this family and friends are at the centre of this special venue. We recognise that they are part of what makes your day so magical and welcome every party with open arms, working with you to provide the day you always imagined. Perfect venue! Can’t recommend West Barn Lodge enough ✨
Barney and Pippa went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. We were so surprised at the amount of additional offerings they had, and they were so flexible and willing to go with any request. On the day of our wedding it was sideways rain - a real shame as it meant we couldn’t use either of the stunning outdoor pergola setup, or the stretch tent. Barney and his team very kindly moved furniture out of the large hall which is part of the accommodation, and set up for our ceremony in there. All this happened the morning of our wedding and we were so grateful for their flexibility and all their help!
One of the reasons we chose West Barn Lodge is the ability to provide your own drinks all day and evening, and hire bartenders to serve them. This meant we could offer an open bar without breaking the bank!
Every element is carefully thought through and we loved that Barney and Pippa were constantly developing and making changes to the venue. We can’t wait to see what they do next!

The perfect venue and hosts. Could not have asked for more
One of the best parts was the onsite accommodation, which meant our entire bridal party-and their partners-could stay with us. It made the whole weekend feel so relaxed, intimate, and special. The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, and it allowed us to spend meaningful time with our nearest and dearest before and after the big day.
Barney and Pippa, the owners, were just fantastic from start to finish. They were warm, welcoming, and endlessly helpful-answering our many (many!) questions with patience and genuine enthusiasm. They also provided us with a list of trusted local suppliers, which made the planning process so much smoother. You can tell they really care about every couple’s experience, and that personal touch made all the difference.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue with breathtaking views, cozy and convenient accommodation, and hosts who go above and beyond to support you throughout the journey-this is it. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything more!
