We were lucky to meet Lisa at a wedding fair at the beginning of our wedding planning journey and are so thankful that we did! Her cake creations are beautiful and taste incredible! Lisa is always at the end of the phone or email for any questions that we had and feels more like a friend you’ve known for years rather than a supplier. Lisa is incredibly knowledgable about all things wedding and provided us with lots of advice and tips for not only our wedding cake but other aspects of the day too!
Lisa sat with us and discussed in detail our wedding cake, advised on the sizes we would need, offered an amazing selection of flavours of cakes which I can confirm all tasted incredible and listened to the vision that we had for our cake. Lisa hand crafted beautiful sugar flowers which matched my bouquet perfectly - Lisa had worked with the florist to ensure they would and they were beautiful. I cannot rate Lisa high enough, the cake was one of my favourite parts of the day and cannot wait for another celebration to enlist her services for! You will not be disappointed with Lisa and her wonderful cakes!

Lisa is without a doubt, one of the most talented and professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Her cake making skills are unmatched, and she delivered my dream wedding cake. The Iranian tradition heavily involves the wedding cake, so I wanted it to be centre stage, and it certainly was that!

Our wedding cake decoration was inspired through the intricacy of my wedding dress - the embroidery and laces matching the flowers we used. Truly it was a stunning creation and the flavours of each layers were mouthwatering- our guests loved it!

Lisa made an amazing and original cake . She was thoughtful ,inspiring and just lovely to deal with . Nothing was too much trouble during the design phase . She produced several alternatives to choose from and was happy to discuss all the options as many times as we needed .

Came across Lisa at my wedding venues open day. Looking through some of the cakes she had done previously I just had a gut feeling that this is who I had to go with. The process was a breeze and the cake tasting was delicious! Talking to Lisa is like talking to a friend you've known for years. She's really down to earth. On the day I was really happy with how our cake turned out. The colours and design was perfect! As for the taste... I was enjoying my honeymoon and my family were messaging me asking for slices of the top tier reserved for me and my husband! My mum is still trying to wrangle additional slice. I had to cut off her supply 🤣.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Lisa Broughton make our wedding cake back in July, and I can honestly say it was beyond anything we could have imagined. From the very first meeting, Lisa greeted us with such warmth and really took the time to listen to what we wanted. She guided us through the design process with care and creativity, incorporating details from my bouquet and even elements from my dress into the design.

The flowers she hand-crafted were breathtaking!!! They looked so real that our guests couldn’t believe they were edible!

The cake itself was just as impressive in taste as it was in appearance. We chose five different flavours: Morello cherry, raspberry ripple, lemon, strawberry & champagne, and passionfruit & lime. Each one absolutely divine. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how incredible it tasted, and even our venue commented that it was one of the best wedding cakes they’d ever seen and served. We still had some saved in the freezer, and when we enjoyed it again while looking through our wedding photos, it tasted just as fresh and delicious as on the day.

Lisa’s talent and attention to detail are unmatched, and it’s no surprise that so many of our guests who are engaged have already asked us for her details. We’re so excited to recommend her to anyone looking for a truly special cake, not only for weddings but for birthdays and all celebrations.

We’ve had birthday cakes from Lisa before, which were always amazing, but our wedding cake was something truly extraordinary.

The cake we received tasted nothing like the samples we received initially. The cake was also the wrong colour. Our guests confirmed that the cake did not taste what they would expect , in fact terrible as some mentioned when asked. Which was obviously a bad reflection on us. So my advice is to avoid. Stick to the high street.

The consultation we had was made so much easier with how lovely Lisa was - she's so warm and welcoming. She was so attentive and knowledgeable which left us confident that she would deliver (which she did)!! The cake itself was stunning and delicious - could not recommend her enough.

Honestly our wedding cake was the most beautiful cake I have ever sheen. Like something out of a fairytale.
Lisa was extremely collaborative in the design process and really took on board any tweaks or amendments I wanted, and we LOVVVVED the cake tasting appointment.

However not did our cake look amazing......Every guest told me how amazing the cake tasted and we loved all 3 tiers.

At first, we weren’t entirely sure what we wanted, but as soon as we saw Lisa’s inspiration photos, everything clicked into place. Lisa put us at ease immediately, and we absolutely loved working with her.

Choosing the flavours was so tough because every sample Lisa gave us was incredible—even the ones we didn’t think we’d like turned out to be delicious! When we finally saw the cake on the day, we both gasped and said “WOW!”—it was beyond anything we could have imagined. The design was beautiful and so perfect, and everyone was completely amazed by it.

Lisa created a masterpiece of a showstopper 4 tiered, multi-flavour, Indian henna inspired dream cake for our wedding! Throughout the entire process she was professional, easy to deal with, very down to earth and accommodating of all our little details. Her selection of designs and ideas following our meeting were excellent and we collaborated to create a cake perfectly matched to our theme and our tastes. Our guests were in awe by the detail! We chose Lisa Cakes as she was one of our venue's recommended vendors I saw her work on insta and on her website and was impressed by her work.

Lisa kindly accommodated seeing me at short notice and provided me and my daughter a taste testing service which was a wonderful experience.

After having seeing and tasting a selection of her cakes and viewing some of her dummy designs we were sold and opted to go with Lisa to design and create our wedding cake.

Lisa did not disappoint and she created a baeitiful masterpiece that not only looked fantastic on the day but she took parst of my wedding dress design and replicate this on our cake.

We opted for different flavours.. the salted caramel was by far our favourite flavour.
