We fell in love with this venue for its incredible decor and warmth, it really has that special feel to it. The gardens and Old library made for an incredible backdrop for photos, and we felt well and truly pampered during our time there. Everyone working there is kind and friendly, and made the day even more fun. We were so happy the whole wedding day. -

Our wedding in October 2025
We recently got married at Wotton House and it was the best day of our lives. The venue is absolutely stunning, inside and outside. The staff were incredible, a huge shout out to Vickey and Tracey as without them the day wouldn’t have gone so smoothly and perfectly. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married as our wedding was truly magical. -

Perfectly Intimate & Dog-Friendly Dream Wedding!
My partner and I first discovered Wotton House during a weekend break and instantly fell in love with the venue's stunning architecture and grounds. When we got engaged, we knew it was the only place for our small, intimate wedding.
We planned a very private celebration with just our children, two witnesses, and our most important VIP: our dog! From our initial enquiry, Fiona (our wedding coordinator) and the entire Wotton House team were incredibly accommodating and fully embraced our unique, small-scale event. They are truly dog-friendly, which was a non-negotiable for us.
We were made to feel utterly special throughout the entire process and on the day itself. The team seamlessly adapted to our smaller party size, ensuring every detail was perfect without making us feel like we were an afterthought. The venue provided the most beautiful and romantic backdrop for our ceremony, and having our dog included in our special day was priceless.
If you are looking for a venue that is professional, flexible, and delivers exceptional service for a smaller, intimate wedding—especially one where your beloved dog can be part of the celebration—we cannot recommend Wotton House highly enough. Our guests (and the dog!) had the most wonderful time. -

Wow!! So much to say about this venue.
From the moment we saw their Old Library we knew it was the place we were looking for, for our wedding venue. They have a choice for you to get married either outside in their beautiful grounds infront of the temple or inside the Old Library which is stunning!
We had an amazing wedding co-ordinator Fiona who helped us plan our wedding and made sure we had everything we wanted right down to the finer details. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make our day really special. The food was incredible!! We met the chef and went over exactly what we wanted and again, nothing was too much trouble. We had a toastmaster Bill who was the loveliest man who helped guide our guests to where they needed to be on the day and was also there to help the best man and us with everything we needed as well as making announcements and making sure everything ran smoothly. He is a true gentleman. There are so many positives about this venue and their staff. All the staff involved were helpful, courteous and friendly and made sure every part of the day ran smoothly. The venue is incredibly beautiful inside and out. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue is and how well organised the day was as well as saying its the best wedding they had been too. They have plenty of rooms for your guests to stay over. We had the pleasure of staying in the honeymoon suite. We had the most incredible day and would highly recommend it to everyone. -

What can I say but planning our wedding has got to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, most stressful but enjoyable at the same time. Jodie our wedding planner from the venue wow what can I say she is amazing, nothing is too much trouble, any worry, any issue or concern she is there to support and make your journey easier, it was so lovely meeting her to view the venue, to have her get me to the end of the alter in safe hands, Jodie was on my journey with us from the very start and I couldn’t ask for anyone truly better, she is a lovely lovely person inside and out with a great humour and personality. Tim the toast master wow wow wow, he is truly amazing, such a nice man, my family all truly loved him, my dad said he’s the type of person he could talk to for hours everyone had nothing but wonderful words to say about him, he was so much fun, down to earth, professional funny on the ball with everything, we didn’t meet Tim till our wedding day but I knew we were in safe hands the moment we met him, he took care of the whole day running smoothly and this is all the reassurance you need, a really truly lovely person he is a credit to the venue. The getting ready room stunning, the wedding breakfast I was too nervous to eat but everyone said was lovely, the venue and food was delicious, everything went to plan and as it should. I highly recommend getting married here. Best day of my life and wish we could do it all again. Thank you to everyone involved in making our day one to remember. Many thanks Mr and Mrs Featherstone.
