If you’re looking to get married in East Lothian then Whitekirk Hill should be top of your list for venues. It is budget friendly, the wedding team are absolutely incredible and there is complete flexibility to use the space however you wish. The grounds of Whitekirk Hill itself are beautiful for your photographs or for an outdoor ceremony and there’s also great views across the countryside, to the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock. We’re so happy that we chose Whitekirk Hill as our wedding venue and can’t recommend it enough.

We had the most amazing experience at Whitekirk Hill and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From start to finish, everything was tailored to exactly what we wanted, and the team were incredibly flexible in helping bring our vision to life.

A special thank you to Isla and Erin, who were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. They were organised, supportive, and made everything feel effortless on the day.

The catering team also did an outstanding job. They accommodated multiple dietary requirements without any fuss, and every meal was absolutely delicious. Our guests were full of compliments about the food.

We also chose to stay on site, and we’re so glad we did. It made the whole experience even more relaxing and special, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without having to worry about travelling.

Whitekirk Hill made our wedding weekend very special. They were extremely helpful and organised throughout the planning process. We stayed at the venue with our family and bridal party for the full weekend. This gave us a chance to catch up throughout the weekend and not just the wedding day. The day itself was beautiful and all we could have dreamed of. We set up on the Friday and gave any relevant information required to the Whitekirk team for the Saturday. They ran the day very smoothly and allowed us to relax and spend time with our loved ones. Thank you for making our day so special!!

It’s Amy and Jonny here! We got married on 20th June 2026, and we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Whitekirk.

We actually booked our wedding back in 2023, with Erin as our wedding planner, and she was with us every step of the way.

We can honestly say the whole process was so easy, relaxed, and enjoyable from start to finish. The venue is absolutely stunning and every time we stayed over in the lead-up to the wedding, it felt so special.

The setting is simply incredible, and on our wedding day we were so lucky to have glorious sunshine. It made an already beautiful venue feel absolutely magical.

Erin made everything run so seamlessly and completely took the pressure off us on the day. What made it even more special was that she stayed right until the very end.. We even managed to grab a wee selfie together! She truly went above and beyond. Her professionalism, kindness and talent made our day unforgettable and she’s definitely become a friend for life.

We couldn't have asked for a more special wedding weekend than what Whitekirk Hill and all its team provided for us. The staff were all very professional, helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect wedding.

I am so pleased we chose Whitekirk Hill to get married this year.
From the first visit I could see myself being married here. The day didn’t disappoint. With access to the different events space, outside, playbarn and lodges it made for a perfect venue for us. It was a great weekend. The events space is good to go as is but is also a blank enough canvas for you to add any little touches you wish. The flexibility was very much a plus point for us. Erin, Arlene and the team were great on the lead up and on the day and nothing was too much bother for them. We had the most amazing day!

From the moment we walked in to view the venue we knew it was the place for us. All the staff were lovely and welcoming, were great with our son and the vibe was just what we were looking for.

Quick responses from Erin the wedding planner and if there were any issues (caterer not whitekirk) she was straight on it and sorted it out taking the stress away from me.

All the staff on the day were amazing, so friendly and helpful. All our guessed commented on how lovely the set up of the venue and location were and how perfect the day was.

I got married at Whitekirk Hill on 6th July 2024 and our whole day was perfect from start to finish. Nothing was too much for the staff, the venue was spotless and the whole day flowed really well from beginning to end. A big special shout out to Arlene and Erin who really were exceptional and went above and beyond. Both myself and my MOH are very particular even about the smallest things but they both managed this really well, helped in every way they can and made us feel at ease. I can't thank the team enough and we are so grateful for everything they done to make our big day so special. Thank you! Xx

We got married at Whitekirk Hill in May 2024. We've been together a long time so wanted a really chilled, party vibe and space for our 5 year old to let off steam when he started to get bored... Whitekirk Hill ticked every box. My standout points and why I'd recommend to anyone: 1. The whole team are incredible, Erin is fantastic and totally set my mind at ease at every stage but even more than that, the bar staff and everyone I engaged with was amazing and added to our chilled party vibe. 2. The soft play... not everyone's cup of tea but if you have children at your wedding then they (and their parents) will love this. It's far enough away that it doesn't impact on your wedding but close enough by that children have different spaces to enjoy and they aren't tied to one room for a long period of time. 3. The versatility: the venue has it's own beachy vibe but it's versatile enough that it can be styled however you want it to be i.e. it's easy to add colour or your own stamp to the space (we added giant disco balls).

Where do we begin! We got married at Whitekirk Hill on 6/6/24 and it was honestly the best day of our lives. From the minute we viewed the venue and met Erin, we knew we were In safe hands. It was a breeze from the start and we cannot thank the venue/staff enough. They went over and above to accommodate our wishes and nothing was an issue. They were extremely helpful and professional throughout. It was a sunny day, a huge party with everyone we loved. We highly recommend Whitekirk Hill and their lovely staff (huge thanks to Erin & Arlene!)

What a stunning venue. The team at Whitekirk went above & beyond for us on our wedding day! It was exactly what we dreamed of. Nothing was too much of an ask the team really pulled out all the stops. Couldn’t recommend this venue enough, especially if you’re looking for somewhere with flexibility in what you can & can’t do.
