We booked the Horniman Conservatory for a Friday afternoon ceremony and drinks reception - it was a perfect venue for stunning pictures, a unique ceremony and a fun relaxed afternoon. The beautiful conservatory made the ceremony feel extra special, and booking it meant we were able to use our own wedding celebrant, musicians and caterers. We used Horniman's approved caterers Caiger & Co - who provided amazing service, very yummy vegan canapes (as we were having a veggie wedding but they have the full range) and it is a female-led, sustainability-focused caterer which I really appreciated. Overall, booking the conservatory through them and using their services felt like really good value for money too, which is appreciated for a London wedding! One thing to note is that the conservatory can get hot on a warm day, but it was still worth it for us, and we made sure to keep the ceremony brief and then there is a great space for drinks and canapés around the conservatory for before and after. We also arranged a London bus to pick up the guests from the Horniman to transport them to the wedding breakfast at a nearby pub. The Caiger & Co team were extremely helpful at every step of the planning and the on the day coordination. Would highly recommend the venue and this team!

We had such a wonderful experience celebrating our religious ceremony in the Old Library at Dulwich. The staff were incredibly responsive, helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Everything went so smoothly, and their help really contributed to making our day so special. We’re very grateful!

We loved the venue from the start and all our guests loved it too. It was great to have the terrace area for canapé hour. Staff were very friendly and professional, and helped the day to run smoothly. There were also great opportunities for photos.

We got married on 29/08/26 and had the best time. The Brunel museums planner Alicja, was absolutely amazing! She always went above and beyond to assist with problems or questions and everything was so flexible and easy for us. The venue is so unique and beautiful - if you love history and want a casual vibe, this is the place for you.

We got married in the Linbury room and had a drinks reception outside afterwards. It’s a simple room with so much natural light. It ended up being bright and really elegant with a few touches. All suggestions from suppliers from DPG themselves. It was perfect for us. We were so pleased with the day and really grateful for all the help received from Imogen and the team. Just so impressed with how easy the process was and how well organised everything was. So really thank you very much. We were also really impressed with the catering and drinks reception from Flotsam and Jetsam. The cafe on site. Little touches like being given the first popped bottle cork was really appreciated. We had photographs around the grounds and in the gallery, even though it was closed that day. Highly reccommend

Due to some personal circumstances, we had to plan a wedding in just under 8 weeks and The Old Timber Store pulled it off. Sonya worked flawlessly with us, providing recommendations for catering, refreshments, photography, and celebrants. We booked MALT for drinks and St. John for light bites. Jemima does the flowers for the venue and they were spectacular. In addition to the unique rafter decorations, she worked with us to create personalized flower vases, a bouquet, and buttonhole. Everything ran so smoothly on the day, our guests couldn't even believe the timeline. The venue is gorgeous and cozy and the surrounding market and providers create a community atmosphere. Definitely use this venue if you need any small wedding or celebratory event planned.

We got married at Ministry on dec 13th 2025 and it was the best decision we made! The team are incredible, the sound system is great, the vibes are off the charts. Could not recommend it more!

Very flexible, helpful and attentive on our big day. Beautiful venue & team

We took a gamble on Sugar Studios and it totally paid off. Brad and the team are amazing and really supported us in bringing our vision to life. We did two site visits before the big day and communication with Brad outside of those was seamless. We had lots of other suppliers involved in the wedding and everything happened exactly as we'd planned without needing a separate on-the-day co-ordinator (although I do work in events so have a lot of experience). It really is a blank canvas for you to do with what you wish. The cafe truck worked perfectly for serving our meal, we were able to create multiple areas for our guests so everyone could choose where they wanted to be and nothing was too much trouble. If you want a unique venue, suitable for a large wedding, where you have control over what it looks like and what the vibe will be, we highly recommend Sugar Studios.

We had our reception at One Friendly Place and thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved the creativity of the space, the props available and that we could come in the previous day to decorate. We loved the different areas in the building for different groups to congregate in- more fun areas, more chilled out areas etc. We could be creative in what we wanted to do, and there was always another corner to explore. Much more affordable in comparison to lots of other local wedding venues. Staff were helpful- we popped in for a visit before the wedding numerous times when we were planning for a walk through, and they answered all of our questions. Steph was great at answering any and all questions that we had, and Rash who acted as building manager/security guard on the day was really friendly and helpful to all of our guests. They can also refer you to great suppliers. I'd recommend this venue if you want to get creative and put your own spin on your wedding reception.
