Our walled garden can provide an idyllic setting for your arrival drinks and, should you require it, an ideal space for the traditional marquee. The interior of the house boasts a range of grand spaces, with reception areas featuring original fireplaces, wood panelling and intricate strapwork ceilings. There are a range of rooms licensed for civil ceremonies, each with original historic features and a sense of grandeur suitable for the magnitude of the occasion. We are happy to provide a list of tried and trusted caterers, who each offer a unique and tailored menu for you to enjoy. Your venue was the perfect setting for my wedding and I could not have asked for the day to go any better. Special mention to Imogen who was very helpful and wasn’t fazed with me ringing with many questions. Just a side note that my wedding has been asked to be featured in a wedding magazine and I have noted you down as a supplier. I’m not sure what pictures they are using but hopefully the venue will be shown. Please see the attached photos, they are very large so I will send you a second email with a couple others.Thank you! We really did choose the perfect venue! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, the place looked beautiful, and the arrangements all worked out perfectly. Lyndsey and Jon were both radiantly happy. Please pass on our appreciation to the caretakers, cleaners and gardeners, and everyone involved. It was so kind of you personally to help with moving the chair covers and ribbons, and the room did look beautiful when our guests came in. If you ever need a glowing reference for the venue, we would certainly be happy to provide it!
