We had already booked Brackenthwaite before visiting, but upon arrival, we were absolutely blown away by its beauty. Our minds immediately started racing with all the possibilities for our wedding! The venue offers a range of options, from hosting a larger outdoor wedding in the field to a more intimate setting in the smaller courtyard. You can even combine both spaces to create the perfect atmosphere for your celebration. The on-site accommodations are stunning, designed for smaller groups (about 16 people) across several different spaces. "The Dairy" is the highlight of the suites — perfect for the bridal party to prepare for the big day and later serving as a private mini-getaway for the newlyweds. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, eager to discuss your plans, and open to any creative ideas you have for your wedding. They're down-to-earth but also willing to make your dreams come true, no matter how wild the ideas might be. From the smallest details to even the possibility of releasing doves, they strive to accommodate everything. The venue is also conveniently located near local B&Bs, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking. It's hard not to extend your stay in such a beautiful location, and once you experience it, you'll find it hard to resist choosing this amazing venue. The only limit to your planning here is your imagination!
