Tylney Hall is a wedding venue nestled in the village of Mattingley, England, in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Surrounded by 66 acres of manicured gardens, this hotel is the perfect setting for an elegant and stylish wedding. The venue is also conveniently located only 40 minutes from Heathrow, close to London and the M25.

Facilities and Capacity

Tylney Hall has a variety of stunning locations for you to host your celebration for between 20 to 120 guests. The Tylney Suite is the largest of these. Its baronial style and high vaulted ceilings give it a grand, traditional atmosphere that is perfect for large ceremonies. You can also hold your wedding outside in the spectacular stone gazebos in the Italian Gardens. Boasting wonderful views across the grounds and the lake, the setting is a truly romantic spot for ceremonies and your important wedding photos. You and your guests will enjoy staying at the hotel with its sumptuous lounges, award-winning gourmet dining and luxurious accommodation. Rooms are available with four-poster beds, park views and oak-panelled bedrooms overlooking the grounds.

Services Offered

The dedicated and experienced events team at Tylney Hall will be on hand throughout the preparations to ensure everything runs smoothly. This will allow you to relax and enjoy a stress-free lead-up to the big day. In addition, the happy couple can indulge before the festivities with pampering spa treatments in the leisure facilities. These feature fabulous treatment rooms, a gymnasium, saunas, a whirlpool and an indoor and outdoor pool. Croquet and tennis are also available for guests' amusement.

Wedding venue perfection.

Tylney Hall is a perfect wedding venue. The staff, especially Garry could not have done more for us. We were due to get married in May 2020, which got cancelled due to COVID, and there were subsequent changes until we finally got married in November 2021. The support we received from Tylney every step of the way was outstanding.
The grounds, the food, the supplier recommendations were all perfect and I found it to be excellent value for money. Tylney provides a real WOW factor from the drive up to the venue, to the incredible rooms and grounds. Thank you for providing us with the best day of our lives.

All staff went above & beyond for our wedding

What a fantastic wedding! All of the staff went above and beyond for our wedding. As a bride, I didn't have a single worry on the day! I felt completely confident in Tylney and everything that was done for it! I couldn't thank the venue enough for making the day so perfect!

We were exceptionally lucky with the weather but even had it rained, it would have been just as perfect!

It is clear to see how much time, effort and attention goes into making the weddings run as smoothly as they do! From the waiter bringing me a glass of water when he could see I was nervous before the ceremony, to the staff carefully tidying up our flowers at the end of the night - thank you all!!!

And a HUGE thank you to the brilliant Lucinda who took every single worry away from me throughout the process! She gave myself and Ritchie every confidence in our wedding when she took over from Louise and we felt extremely lucky to have her work on our wedding! Her speed in getting back to us and sorting any queries was the best it could be and she was extremely professional and friendly throughout! It was also lovely to see her there on the day to see it complete! Tylney is lucky to have her working there:)

All aspects were perfect

All the way along the preparation was so professional, patient, friendly and accommodating thanks to Debbie Hine. On the event, it felt like everyone was there for us from Debbie and Ben through to all the staff working on the event and the ever warm welcome from the reception, cloakroom and door staff. All aspects were perfect, from the beauty of the location, the layout of the rooms, assistance with decoration etc , quiet efficiency of service during the drinks reception. wedding breakfast and evening reception.
The food and drink were of the highest quality. The staff bent over backwards to meet our every wish. It was a fairytale wedding that could not have succeeded without Tylney Hall's superb staff. I see it as top class quality, beauty and sublime elegance without snobbery - something very rare and to be treasured indeed. We look forward to many future visits including anniversaries and the other events such as opera nights.

Forever truly grateful

I would like to make special acknowledgement of the service and support provided by your events planner Garry Sampson. Throughout the 18 months of planning our wedding, Garry was in no less of a word fantastic! No phone call was to much of a bother and no visit for a question or three pages was a hassle. He helped us with ideas for our wedding when we were not sure about certain things and when a minor accident happened the day before our wedding with our table plan, Garry went out of his way to rectify it. Our wedding day was as perfect as any wedding day should be and I believe this to be because of the time and hard work Garry put into planning our wedding with us and for this we will be forever truly grateful.

The most beautiful venue

We had an absolutely magical wedding day. Ben was fantastic and was on hand whenever we needed him. Tylney Hall is the most beautiful venue that any of our guests have ever been to and we couldn't have made the day any more amazing than what it was.

Best day of our lives!

From the moment we saw Tylney Hall we knew that it was 'the one'. Every moment, every member of staff and every detail ran smoothly on the day and the coordination of our wedding was just perfect. The support of the staff and beautiful surroundings made our wedding day - and weekend - a dream come true. Thank you so much to everyone who helped pull our wedding together at Tylney Hall, especially Garry Sampson, and we will be recommending you to all of our friends and family from now on. The hotel is the perfect venue

Garry Sampson was brilliant throughout the whole of the wedding planning process, made us feel extremely welcome and like we had known him for years. Alan Coxhead the toastmaster was legendary, he was professional, funny, welcoming, calming, he added to our day and helped make it perfect. We can't thank Alan enough. The hotel is the perfect venue, the staff are all lovely. Very attentive and no request was too much. The food was delicious, all our guests complimented on how perfect it was. The 3rd party suppliers were all brilliant, especially Tina Sir from Cookie Creations, she really took on board what we wanted. And developed the idea, the cake had quite an impact and it is still being mentioned. The ladies working in the spa treatment area were fantastic, very relaxing and friendly, Donna was brilliant! We are looking forward to our next stay at Tylney Hall Hotel.

We had an amazing time

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help this past year. Your assistance with planning our wedding made our lives so much less stressful, and we managed to bring everything together in time. My new husband and I had an amazing day and it was all made possible by yourself and the wonderful staff at Tylney Hall. All of the staff were more than happy to help and my only regret of the day is that I didn't have the time to thank them personally. The food was sublime, and many of our guests went for second or third helpings at the Barbecue. When we retired for the evening to your Duchess Suite, the documents we had left at Reception had been kindly placed in the lounge area and our bed had been dusted with rose petals - the little details that made our stay so memorable for us.

We had an amazing time, and all of our guests have expressed a desire to come back and enjoy the high life once more. I will certainly be recommending yourselves in future, and wish you all the best for the future.

Wonderful venue and helpful staff

We were very well looked after from the start of planning our wedding with Garry Sampson our Event Co-ordinator right through to when we left the Hotel the Monday after the wedding. The staff were all very helpful and did everything they could to make our day very special, except the weather! Oh well, you can't have it all I suppose! The food was excellent, even though my bride and I didn't get time for the canapes or evening buffet. The Toastmaster Alan was fantastic too. All our family and friends said that it was a very special day made even more so by the wonderful venue and helpful staff. Thank you, everyone, at Tylney Hall for making it so special and we'll be back in the coming years I hope to celebrate our anniversaries.

It really was a perfect day.

15th August 2014 - The way our wedding was handled from start to finish was excellent. Louise Searle was so approachable & welcoming. She really made me feel at ease & I had complete trust in her that everything would be organised & set out how I wanted. We had a BBQ for our reception food and all the food was exceptional. The spicy prawns were the best I've ever eaten. To be honest the evening buffet I didn't get to eat as I was dancing the night away & talking too much. But I have spoken to my guests & they all have said it was all good quality food. I would like to mention Ben Whale & Arthur who were beyond excellent. Me & my husband never wanted for anything, they were so accommodating & attentive. I once mentioned to my husband that I fancied another glass of wine & just as I had finished the sentence a glass appeared in front of me. I mentioned to Arthur I fancied a glass of Pimms, I wandered off & he came & found me with my Pimms. Their service was beyond anything I've ever had. I really can't thank them enough. They made my day go so smoothly it really was a perfect day.

Made our day amazing

The wedding team and staff at Tylney Hall are superb, the day ran smoothly with no issues or problems. Garry was very helpful and accommodating, we had to add one more person at the last minute and this was dealt with effectively and efficiently which is the same for the planning of the wedding. Alan the toastmaster was fabulous he made sure that everyone was where they should be and arranged people for the requested group photographs. All the guests commented on how lovely Alan was and helped throughout the day. All the staff were efficient and nothing was an issue they were also fabulous. I cannot recommend Tylney Hall for your special day enough they made our day amazing and we cannot thank them enough.

Everything went as great as we expected

Uzarska & Gullz Wedding, 27th June 2014 - We just wanted to take an opportunity to thank you again and all the staff who looked after us whole night as everything went as great as we expected from standard of Tylney Hall. We loved the room, atmosphere, food and overall approach from everyone. We do hope to come back to Tylney Hall sometime in the future to experience all the greatness again.
