The Kedleston Country House is a stunning Georgian property dating back to 1760. It was designed by renowned architect Robert Adam as a former coaching inn for Kedleston Hall, and many of the original quirks are still a prominent feature today.
After falling into disrepair, the building was lovingly restored by Derby Brewing Company and reopened in 2015 with a license for civil weddings and wedding receptions.
The Kedleston Country House stands proudly on the edge of the Kedleston Hall estate, just a stones throw away from Derby City Centre, but surrounded by the most idyllic countryside. Whether you visualise your guests enjoying a cocktail in the Georgian walled gardens, or cosying up by the roaring fireplace in the Snug with a hot mulled wine, we invite you to make this Country House your home for your wedding celebrations.
For your evening celebrations, The Orangery can be transformed into the perfect space for a party of up to 120 guests. Whether you’re hoping to have a DJ or a band, the room layout is flexible enough to accommodate your needs. After dinner and dancing, why not make the most of our gorgeous boutique bedrooms so you can kick off your dancing shoes and head straight upstairs after your celebrations?
We are delighted to offer five boutique bedrooms, each complete with roll top baths and fluffy robes. Each room has been individually decorated and packed full of Plum & Ashby toiletries, so you really can relax and while away those post-wedding blues… Our accommodation is also the perfect place for you to spend the night before your wedding*. Our bridal suite is a great size for you to prepare and get into your gown, and to have your bridesmaids in tow too!

The day was absolutely perfect. As we said our vows the sun came out and was streaming through the glass roof of The Orangery. We’ve had lots of comments that the food was the best people had had at a wedding and the service was outstanding. The Orangery is the perfect spot for a wedding and its beautiful surroundings meant we achieved an intimate and relaxed feeling throughout the day.Sent on 13/07/2017

Brilliant Wedding Experience!
We booked a show round at The Kedleston Country House as my mum had been and said how beautiful the new renovation is. We saw Robyn the co-ordinator. She was really lovely and showed us round, talking through every detail of our day and how it would run. She seemed to really care about what we wanted as a couple, and special ideas we had to include. The honeymoon suite is to die for!! Gorgeous massive bed, and amazing roll top bath! The quote came through the next day, and after a couple of changes (we upgraded to a cocktail which we get to help create for our guests) we've booked. Can't wait for my big day now. Roll on August! Can't recommend The Kedleston enough.Sent on 14/03/2016
