The White Hart Inn has been renovated to combine its classic charm with modern elegance. The reclaimed brick and stone walls and solid oak beams preserve the original character of the building, while the modern style and décor have brought the venue into the 21st century. The ceremony function room can accommodate up to 100 guests and is fully licensed for civil marriages. Whether you envision a formal three-course wedding breakfast or a more relaxed hog roast, this setting can create a truly memorable dining experience. The reception room can accommodate up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast and 180 for your evening celebrations. The wood-paneled bar downstairs has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, serving everything from real ales to cocktails. The wedding of our dreams
What an amazing venue, the staff at the white hart went above and beyond during the planning and on the day. Communication from staff and our co ordinator Mia was clear and we always had a prompt response. Everybody knew exactly what they were doing and the day flowed so perfectly. The venue, rooms and scenery are absolutely beautiful we got some gorgeous pictures. Some of our guests even stayed an extra night! We had nothing but compliments about the day. If I could do it all again in a heartbeat I would.

Our wedding day 3.1.2025
We had an amazing experience from start to finish Mia was amazing and always there to help along the way .All the staff were amazing on our special day nothing was too much to ask making it hassle free ,friendly and professional. The 3 course meal was delicious and all guests commented how nice it was ,we opted for the hog roast in the evening which was also delicious there were also vegetarian options if required . Myself and my bridesmaids stayed at the venue the night before and this was perfect ready for the wedding day . The night of the wedding day myself and my husband stayed in the bridal suite which was amazing and most of our guests stayed in the hotel and we all had a lovely breakfast the day after . We would highly recommend this venue ours was a winter wedding and the grounds and venue have lovely areas for your photography Thankyou to all who made our day special 3.1.2025 Claire & Tim

Our Wedding
We honestly can’t thank The White Hart enough for helping us create the most amazing wedding day. From the very start of the planning process right through to the big day itself, nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made us feel completely at ease the whole time.
A huge, special thank you to Mia, our wedding coordinator — she was absolutely incredible. She was so calm, supportive, and reassuring, especially when I started to feel nervous just before walking down the aisle. Her care and attention meant everything to us.
Our day was truly perfect, and we wish we could do it all over again. Thank you so much for making our wedding so special and unforgettable. 🥰

Perfect Day!
Our day could not have gone any better if we had tried. Mia and the team were always on hand at the run up to the wedding to help with any questions we had. They were flexible with choices we made., and helped make the right decisions for us.
The day was seamless and ran so smooth, everyone who came to our wedding commented on how beautiful the venue was and how well organised the whole day was.
i would recommend the White Hart to any couple looking for a venue to hold there dream wedding.

The most perfect day
From start to finish it was perfect, the most beautiful day! The venue is so photogenic, and the staff and vendors made it look perfect for our special day! The weather was 28 degrees the day we got married so the main room had aircon with was a god send but also because it was so beautiful we got to enjoy the outside of the venue which is beautiful! We had the white bouncy castle which we deffo got our moneys worth from! The food was amazing and they catered for all allergens! Truly the most beautiful day, I’ll never forget it!

Beautiful Wedding Venue!
The White Hart was everything we wanted in a venue - rustic yet elegant, intimate but with plenty of space and a friendly atmosphere! The staff at the White Hart go above and beyond - from helping us with planning prep and answering all of our questions to even sending some of the cake and evening BBQ food up to our room for a late night snack once our wedding day was done. Everything ran smoothly, on time and the venue has some stunning locations for photos. The food was amazing and loved by everyone and everything is reasonably priced with some fantastic add on options (we opted for some of their light up signs, ice cream van and sweet cart!). I can’t thank the staff at White Hart enough for making our day extra special!

we cannot express enough how emma and the team at the white hart inn did to make our wedding perfect, they went above and beyond for us as our original venue was cancelled due to flooding only 6weeks before our big day , They pulled out all the stops and delivered the most amazing day , the venue was beautiful and has a beautiful backdrop for photography, we would highly recommend here’s for your special day

Time of our lives 🥳
Our wedding at the Hurt Arms could not of gone any better! I would not change a single thing about our wonderful day 🥂 The wedding coordinator would answer all of my frantic emails leading up to our day and was genuinely an angel sent from heaven on the day! Our day went so smoothly, the venue is simply stunning I just felt so at ease and so homely not a kind of white washed clinical looking place soo much character. And most importantly....The food was out of this world!! Every single one of our guests genuinely couldn't believe how good the food was, and the buffet with the pies in the evening just amazing! Also a good drinks choice on the bar catered to everyone's needs. The cost of our wedding was far less than most of our friends and everyone said our wedding was the best they'd been too and I put that down to the Hurt Arms and the wonderful staff ensuring we had the best day followed by an almighty knees up! Incredible day and would recommend anyone looking to get married to 100% look at The Hurt Arms 🥳

A special day that was loved by all who attended
We got married here three years ago, and I honestly wish I could relive it all over again — it was truly the most perfect day. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the team, even when I accidentally mixed up the number of mocktails (I was 35 weeks pregnant at the time 🤰🫣).
The venue itself was absolutely stunning, and the price was amazing for what we got. We didn’t have a sit-down meal, so I can’t comment on that, but the canapés and evening buffet were delicious! Every one of our guests said how magical the day felt and how wonderful both the staff and the venue were.
I was so sad when I heard the venue had closed, but I’m overjoyed to see it opening again — ready to make new memories for future couples on their special day. I truly can’t recommend this place enough.

Exceptional.
The White Hart were incredible, and they gave us the most amazing day. Nothing was too big or too small, and were so accomodating and supportive. Our co-ordinator, Mia, was fantastic and very responsive, and made sure the day went off without a hitch - and was just so amazing throughout the entire process.
The food was absolutely delicious, our guests commented on how wonderful everything was! The views were incredible, and the hotel itself was one of the best I've stayed in! All the staff were so friendly and helpful, they really helped make our day special!
We had the most magical day, and we're beyond grateful to all the staff at The White Hart and to Mia for helping us bring our vision to life!

The most PERFECT day
This was such a hidden gem I found as a wedding venue right in the middle of searching and I’m SOOO glad we found it as it was absolutely the perfect choice for us. We managed to get everything we wanted for our wedding day, tailored completely to us. We originally spoke to Katy when booking but Mia ended up being our wedding coordinator and she couldn’t do enough for us.
We had quite a big family and finding a venue that was affordable and could give us what we want felt like a hard task, but having the white hart meant we could have all the guests we wanted within budget.
They have so many options it really does feel personal to your day. We opted for nachos instead of canapés, a hog roast as our main meal, followed by ice cream and then pizza and fries in the evening. We booked a couple of extras through the white hart too like the light up love letters and a bouncy castle (we had a summer wedding, plenty of kids so it felt like a must… although we adults did manage to have a good go on it)
The biggest shout out to all the rest of the staff and Nathan on the day (and the other days we were staying)
We’d been a couple of times prior for food and every time it has been perfect. Our couple of nights stay there was also perfect. Air-conned rooms in the summer definitely helped as well (and in the main room where we had our ceremony)
We ended up getting married on what was the hottest day of the year so I was very thankful!
I DIYd a lot of it myself and Mia and the wedding team set it all up for me with the instructions I left. The day ran perfectly smoothly and it’s all thanks to the white hart team. This will always be a special place for us now and we already can’t wait to come back and visit 🥰

Our fabulous NYE wedding!
We simply cannot thank all the staff at The White Hart enough for making our NYE 2024 wedding the spectacular occasion that it was!
From initial meeting in December 2023 right through to our stunning fireworks display to welcome in 2025, everything was taken care of and we never had a single thing to worry about. The communication was amazing and all our wants and needs were met, including last minute (quite literally 1 hour before the ceremony!) additions to our guest list! Emma and Mia made sure we felt comfortable and confident our day would be exactly as we wanted and they without a shadow of a doubt achieved this.
To any couple looking for a beautiful venue with amazing and well experienced staff to create a day wonderfully tailored to your desires, look no further!

What an amazing day!
we recently got married here on 04/05 and it was just gorgeous. The day and evening was just amazing, the staff were absolutely fantastic. The whole day ran smoothly and there was nothing to worry about. As a very hands on bride, Katy and Mia were both very accommodating for meetings and emails for all of my questions.
The food was amazing- due to guests having allergies, we were able to choose or change items on the menu to accommodate everyone that attended. The list of recommended venders was great, and we used the majority of them on our big day.
we will definitely be returning for our wedding anniversary’s every year.
