The White Hart Inn has been renovated to combine its classic charm with modern elegance. The reclaimed brick and stone walls and solid oak beams preserve the original character of the building, while the modern style and décor have brought the venue into the 21st century. The ceremony function room can accommodate up to 100 guests and is fully licensed for civil marriages. Whether you envision a formal three-course wedding breakfast or a more relaxed hog roast, this setting can create a truly memorable dining experience. The reception room can accommodate up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast and 180 for your evening celebrations. The wood-paneled bar downstairs has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, serving everything from real ales to cocktails. The wedding of our dreams
What an amazing venue, the staff at the white hart went above and beyond during the planning and on the day. Communication from staff and our co ordinator Mia was clear and we always had a prompt response. Everybody knew exactly what they were doing and the day flowed so perfectly. The venue, rooms and scenery are absolutely beautiful we got some gorgeous pictures. Some of our guests even stayed an extra night! We had nothing but compliments about the day. If I could do it all again in a heartbeat I would.

We had such an amazing day for our wedding at the whiteheart inn, everything was perfect even the prep and organising running up to the wedding ran so smoothly thanks to Mia ☺️ the staff were great on the day to so accommodating to all we couldn’t have asked for a better venue!

Winter Wedding 2024
The perfect day in every way! Beautiful venue with stunning countryside surroundings for your wedding photos, food was outstanding and the staff couldn’t do enough for you to ensure you had the perfect day. An amazing wedding venue especially for intimate weddings like ours, would highly recommend as a Wedding Venue 🤍

Max capacity wonderful wedding
We had a wonderful day. Katy was a wonderful wedding organiser who helped us with everything we needed. Food was wonderful both as the dinner and evening snacks. The bouncy castle was cancelled due to the rain - but we got a refund!
We had over 100 people and were looked after beautifully and still had the space for a ceilidh with the wonderful Morris&Watson ceilidh band.
The bedroom the night before and the honeymoon suite the night of were a huge treat and we loved our whole stay there. Totally magical.

We got Married here in 2024 - 100% Recommend!!!
My Wife and I got married here in August 2024, and we couldn't recommend it enough. From the staff, to the venue, to the scenary, to the costs and more, everything was perfect for us!
We're so greatful for the support we received from the staff, leading up to and during the wedding and for helping us make our day so perfect! We couldn't have asked for more from the staff at the White Hart Inn.
Not to mention how beautiful the venue and scenary is! We got some amazing photo's here and definitely recommend going out for that sunset picture if you're able to do so!
The size of the venue and parking was also another big plus for us, and we were able to fit in 100 guests very easily which was ideal.
The food here is also amazing, and all of our guests mentioned and complemented how much they loved their meals.
Another massive postive were the rooms me and my Wife and some of our family/friends stayed in! The sweetheart room for me and my Wife was amazing, and all our guests who stayed the night also and booked a room mentioned how lovely and blown away they were with their rooms!
All in all, we had the most perfect day, and that certaintly wouldn't have been the case without this amazing venue and amazing people who work at the White Hart Inn.
If you're looking for somewhere amazing to get married, with great staff and affordable prices for your big day, we would 100% recommend getting married here! We couldn't fault it at all and wish we could do it all over again!

A Perfect Day
We got married at The White Hart in October and we had a perfect day. Katy and the team made organising everything so easy and the costs were really clear upfront - no surprises. On the big day itself, everything was taken care of and we were free to enjoy ourselves knowing that everything was in safe hands. The food was absolutely delicious (with generous portions), and our guests had a wonderful time. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Wedding - July 2024
We had our wedding here in July 2024 and had the most amazing day! The venue is in such a lovely location, with the most amazing views and the staff at the venue were absolutely brilliant, especially the event staff. The event staff were so polite and professional and nothing was ever too much trouble. Leading up to our wedding day, our wedding coordinator was fantastic, keeping us updated and making us feel at ease. Would highly recommend this venue!

A wonderful autumnal day
We would like to thank the whole team at The White Hart as nothing seemed to be too much trouble all the way from planning to the day itself. If you fancy a themed wedding they are used to working with all kinds of ideas. Special thanks to Luke, Cradock, Louis, Mia, Brad, Nathan, Jude and Katie for their input on our day.
The White Hart is a lovely countryside venue with amazing views and your day feels really quite exclusive as the only other people around will be those using the main restaurant. We didn’t even really notice anyone else at all apart from those attending for our day.
The chosen menu provided was excellent quality and they were very happy to work with us as much as possible regarding food intolerances. If you want a particular beer or specific drinks for the day, just ask and they will do their best to stock them for you within reason.
We had the outside fires on in the evening which came in useful given the time of year and they helped to keep those having a break from the music nice and toasty. Their bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable and you can take advantage if need be and use their sister venue - The Horse and Jockey @Wessington, only a mile down the road.
The majority of our 65 guests were not local to the area and didn't have any issues. Those not staying at the White Hart were able to use local taxis and Uber without any issues. Some took the opportunity to visit the Peak District pre/post wedding.

The best venue in Derbyshire
For us our love for the white hart extends faf beyond our wedding.
We had our baby shower for our twins here and feel in love with the venue, location and events team!
Their attention to detail is second to none, they're speedy to respond to any queries and we had the beta day ever. Not once did I ever question our choice of venue and Mia was absolutely outstanding at making sure we had the most outstanding day.. 3 weeks later we're still on a high!
Absolutely cannot fault them! Thank you!

The most perfect day.
We visited The White Hart on an off chance after viewing a few venues closer to home. My husband and I instantly fell in love with the venue and the location. We met with the Wedding Team to discuss packages, availability etc and decided there and then that the venue was perfect for us. Every little detail was taken care of, from welcome drinks to so many options for food, decorations for the dance floor and more. We really crafted the wedding breakfast and evening dining to our taste.
The communication with our co-ordinator Mia, was fantastic. Any questions, Mia was just the other end of the phone or email and always replied promptly. The lead up to the day was stress free and considering that our wedding day took place within six months of booking, that was a huge help!
When it came to our wedding day, the whole day was absolutely perfect. My bridesmaids and I stayed at the venue the night before and had an incredible champagne breakfast to enjoy whilst we prepared for the day. Mia was on hand the whole day, as well as the rest of The White Hart team. The food was incredible, the venue was beautiful, our guests were so complimentary of the bar service and cocktail making and we just had the most special day.
If anyone is considering booking The White Hart for their wedding day, you won’t be disappointed, it was the best day of our lives.

July Wedding 2024
My husband and I got married at the White Hart last year and we couldn’t recommend them enough!
From our initial look around with Mia, one of the wedding coordinators, we knew that The White Hart was the venue for us!
We loved the chilled atmosphere of the venue and there was nothing that they couldn’t accommodate that we wanted.
Our day was absolutely amazing! We had a fantastic ceremony in the orangery, went outside into the gorgeous garden, had the white bouncy castle for the children and the axe throwing truck for the adults to keep them entertained. All of which were fantastic additions to our day, supplied by the White Hart.
The food was also incredible - we had a BBQ (cooked on an actual BBQ) for our day time meal, which was served a table at a time, the waffle truck as desert and then in the evening we had pizzas and we were amazed at the portion sizes. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was both day time and evening!
As already said, we couldn’t recommend the White Hart as a wedding venue and the staff worked with us so well to accommodate all of our wishes!
We would love to do it all again and would choose the White Hart over again!

Wedding May 2024
We had the most amazing wedding day at this beautiful venue. 5* experience. Loved every moment of our wedding. The staff were so polite and knew exactly what to do and what was happening at each moment. They played our music for the ceremony and guests exactly how we asked them too. The bar was quick and easy for all our guests. Literally had a faultless day and would highly recommend this venue to any newly weds.

Wonderful Wedding Venue - Second to None
We had our amazing wedding here on 24-08-24 and it was nothing short of extraordinary. This venue is perfect, set in the beautiful countryside with an outside terrace area and large green space, which we utilised for games, bouncy castle & Helter Skelter. The rooms are superb & the honeymoon suite was fab. The staff are brilliant, everything is incredibly well organised and nothing is too much trouble, no one ever seemed stressed. We spent quite a lot of time at the venue before our wedding day so everything was familiar to us. Katy, our wedding planner was fantastic. She guided us through the planning with infinite expertise, was always super responsive, organised, kind and calm. This venue will always be our special place. We have been back to visit since and enjoyed a lovely meal in the Folk & Furrow. Don’t hesitate to book!

August Twilight Wedding
We got married in August 24, we wanted a more casual style wedding, without the traditional three course meal. Many venues wouldn't allow this but The White Hart were more than happy to accommodate as long as we hit the minimum spend. We had a 4pm ceremony followed by canapes and later on we had Pizza. It was exactly how we wanted it. The venue is set in a beautiful location making the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. The value for money was very good in comparison to other venues we viewed. And getting married on a Tuesday literally saved us thousands. It is very clear that the staff know how to run a wedding well. Our day was perfect and we can't thank the staff enough for all their hard work. We did find responsiveness on emails weren't always the quickest but as an overall review that was minor and the fact that our day ran so smoothly and was very well organised spoke volumes. Highly recommend.

Can’t recommend enough
The most beautiful wedding venue, with the most fabulous staff and food that’s still talked about!
Where to even start! We picked the white hart due to its rural location and country vibe, we absolutely loved the outdoor space and really loved Mia the wedding planner! We were able to pick a date that suited us and got started with the planning, where the wedding planning team were on hand every step of the way! Every little question/ query was answered and honestly they couldn’t have done any more.
The day itself went without a hitch, and was stunning - we even got good weather! It was a dream come true, the wedding we had dreamt of!
Everything ran smoothly, the venue and gardens looked stunning and the food - what can I say about the food! It’s still talked about now - the roast pork sandwiches were legendary!
As far as the experience, the venue, the staff, the day, EVERYTHING goes this venue is incredible and I can’t recommend it enough.
The only thing I would change/ request would have been a pre wedding taster menu but I’m being very picky, and that is the only thing I could suggest!
