Annika and the team at Plas Y rhosyn were beyond accommodating and couldn’t do enough to ensure our big day was perfect. Being the laid back bride I was, I had no real plan of how the day was going to run, but Annika basically made the whole order of the day for me and took all of the stress away. She was proactive and noticed the small details that I hadn’t even considered. If I could go back and do it all again I wouldn’t change a single thing. And that was honestly all down to the brilliant team at Plas Y Rhosyn ♥️

26th April 2022 Our wedding was exactly what we dreamed of. A relaxing, romantic yet unusual way to tie the knot. We were married on the balcony of the Cadwollen Treehouse, with the sun shining, lambs bleating and birds tweeting. Jazz and Emily at Squirrels Nest were fantastic at organising and ensuring a smooth and stress-free stay. Our wedding package was catered specifically for us. We gorged on a delicious hamper full of Welsh treats; had a local personal chef cook us a scrumptious vegetarian delight (The Welsh Kitchen) as well as a delightful couples massage when we arrived. The venue was serene, beautiful and private. Stargazing in the hot tub was a true highlight. We will be certainly re-visit and have recommended Squirrels Nest and their treehouses to anyone who will listen.

Jemma and Maddy went above and beyond expectations to make our whole weekend extra special with so many thoughtful gestures. Really cannot thank them, and all of the staff at the Lodge, enough for all of their hard work. The scenery is spectacular, surrounded by nature, perfect for day-after walks from the doorstep, or just relaxing by the campfire watching dawn turn into dusk.

When planning our intimate wedding in Hay on Wye we considered a couple of different venues within the town. We settled on The Globe after visiting and falling in love with its quaint and quirky charms. The versatile space offered exactly what we needed and allowed us to customise and make it truly unique to us. Layla, Bill and team were so lovely to deal with, laid back but with all the answers, a reassuring combination in the midst of wedding planning! We also enjoyed some very good canapés and fizz to see in wedded life, thanks to Billy in the kitchen. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better ceremony, perfectly accommodated by The Globe, thank you!

We knew we wanted something a little different for our wedding. We wanted a venue that was special to us and our guests, and Tretower Court gave us this. The staff were so friendly, flexible and supportive, so that we could make sure that we had the wedding we wanted – not just a template that someone else had developed. Our guests loved exploring the castle and grounds and interacting with the re-enactors. Everything was perfect.

My wife and I were so glad we choose The Manor as our Wedding venue. It's a great location with stunning views, and the staff were excellent from the day 1. Necole our wedding coordinator was amazing and we couldn't thank her enough. All our wedding guests commented on how nice the place looked, the food was lovely and our room was faultless. I wouldn't hesitate to book The Manor for future stay's, and I highly recommend for a wedding venue. Great place, excellent friendly staff and a brilliant wedding coordinator in Necole.

We held our wedding party at Glyngynwydd last October, and I cannot recommend the venue/cottages enough! Officially we married on the sunny beach in Mauritius- but were after a personal, intimate, but yet relaxed venue for a large celebration on our return. I (the Bride) born in Wales: was after a rural, relaxed but close to home venue, but my husband born on the outskirts of London needed accommodation to house close family. Glyngynwydd was all we could have hoped for & more.. the beautiful Mid-Wales setting, with the added weekend accommodation for friends & family was perfect. (We always love to drag out a celebration!!) The beautiful quaint cottages, stunning rural setting & fabulous hosting made the setting for our PERFECT wedding celebration! The flexibility of the beautiful rustic barns gave us an amazing opportunity to create the absolutely beautiful setting for our (possibly quite individual) celebration! Our hosts Carla & Adam were fantastic- and gave us all the information needed to contact any local suppliers available for our needs, If you are after a personal, rustic, individual wedding celebration set in the most beautiful grounds... Glyngynwydd Wedding Cottages and Barn is the perfect place! Sending our thanks & gratitude to Carla & Adam again... :-) x

We got married at Llangoed Hall on 23 April 2016 and have just returned for a two night stay marking our first anniversary. We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding and everything went like clockwork due to the marvellous staff, particularly Lynsey and Brian and the chef. Our guests came from as far away as Germany and Cornwall and everyone says what happy memories they have of the day. We enjoyed the same high standards on our return - the staff really cannot do enough for you and are all so charming. The restaurant is superb! We will most definitely be returning.

"Julia helped us to arrange our dream outdoor woodland ceremony and reception. Julia totally understood our vision for the wedding and in the eighteen months before the big day answered all of my (many!) questions, quickly and efficiently, providing useful insights and creative solutions to problems which had me completely stumped! As well as being brilliant in the run up to the wedding, Julia also did a wonderful job behind the scenes on the day itself, coordinating suppliers and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Julia dealt with a number of supplier related hiccups - problems that i wasn't even aware of until a few weeks after the wedding because Julia handled them so carefully and swiftly. This was invaluable as it meant that my husband and I could really relax and enjoy the day, without any distractions. From start to finish, Julia went above and beyond the call of duty and we are so grateful to her for all her help and support. She is an absolute joy to work with and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both her and her new venture, Garthmyl Hall, to every couple in search of the perfect venue and wedding coordinator for their big day."
