Peterstone Court is a stunning venue and was perfect for our special day back in April. We were lucky with the weather which made the flowers in the gardens pop and gave a beautiful fresh spring feel. The staff were great, especially Dawn. They set everything up and were always on hand to help to ensure the day run smoothly which made us feel calm and relaxed on the day. I don’t think we could’ve asked for a more breathtaking venue, outstanding team or better place to get married. The Elan Valley has held a special place in our hearts for many years and after getting engaged there, we had to get married on the dam. Vikki and the team were so incredibly helpful, brilliant and responsive throughout our booking process and the ceremony itself. Their ideas for extras we could do on the dam to add a personal touch were so great and they made all our dreams come true!

We recently held a celebration event at Nant y Walch Barn and came away incredibly impressed with this very special venue. Gyles, the owner, couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming or accommodating. From the outset, he made us feel completely at ease and helped create the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere we wanted for our day. The location is simply stunning. Nant y Walch feels like a genuine haven of tranquillity and beauty, surrounded by the wonderful Powys countryside. There are several different outdoor areas where guests can sit, talk and enjoy the surroundings, which really added to our event. Inside, the barn is beautiful too. It has all the facilities you need while retaining so much of its original charm and character. The original exposed walls in particular make it feel warm, authentic and very different from a more conventional event venue. Everyone who attended commented on how wonderful the venue was, which is perhaps the best recommendation we could give. Although our celebration wasn't a wedding, having experienced the venue and Gyles's hospitality first-hand, we can easily imagine what a fantastic setting Nant y Walch would be for a wedding. It has character, beautiful surroundings and a genuinely personal and welcoming feel. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Best days of our lives! What a wedding venue - Plas Dinam was the first wedding venue we viewed and we fell in love with it there and then. The views are scenic and the house and gardens are stunning. If you want a package wedding then this is not that - it is a more relaxed experience. My wife and I knew that we wanted to design our own day and this venue allows this. They also provide suppliers lists and advice for any extras you may need. Trust me, if you are worried about any part of your day, speak to your coordinator here and they will make sure you know exactly what you need to do. There is so much possibility with this venue because of the space and different areas that can be used. We had a bbq for our guests the night before on the back lawn overlooking the mountains, we got married inside the great hall due to the weather but were then able to use the inside rooms and the outside of the front of the house and the gardens for our post-ceremony as the weather improved. Finally we went down to the barn for the reception. The staff were great. Our original coordinator, Louise, was great, super helpful and attentive and helped us get started with our journey. Phillipa then took over and she did amazing! She kept in contact and ensured we were on track for everything to run smoothly. On the day before and day of Phillipa was close to us at all times as well as keeping an eye on everything else as well as organising where things would be and how they would be setup. We also had an incident which required out of hours help and assistance on site which was dealt with swiftly. Overall, we would recommend this wedding venue to anybody who wants beautiful scenes and a historic house with plenty of space to work with for their special day. Wilde Lodge was an amazing location for our wedding and everyone commented on how stunning the scenery and setting was. The Wilde Lodge team could not have done more for us or been anymore accommodating. The staff that worked the event were the perfect blend of being completely on top of everything, always in the places they needed to be and also were completely non invasive. We had 130 guests for the big day with around 80 staying onsite which meant the party could keep going into the Sunday. We couldn't recommend Wilde Lodge more!

Llangoed Hall hosted a wonderful exclusive event for our wedding in September. We envisioned a small intimate wedding with exclusive hire of the Hall to celebrate our wedding with our closest friends and family and they totally delivered. The staff were friendly but professional, very attentive and totally enabled us to relax and enjoy our 2 days there, knowing that all our guests would be looked after and we could all enjoy the wonderful scenery and surroundings, it was like living in your very own Hall for a couple of days, what a luxury. Morgan, Vicky and their team completely understood our brief and brought it all together seamlessly. I can highly recommend Llangoed Hall for exclusive hire for any special event and feel very privileged that we got to experience it to host our wedding and celebrations. Thank you to all the staff for creating a memorable couple of days.

Honestly cant recommend Tall John's enough! right from the beginning, they were supportive, friendly and just amazing. The Venue itself is just the most picturesque setting for your wedding.

We got married at Garthmyl Hall on 20/06/2026. We truly had the most amazing weekend. The Friday was a chilled BBQ and everyone exploring our exclusive venue. Checking our family into a weekend we dreamed of. Evie and Darren were waiting for us to unload and set every thing up. Thank you Evie for also doing all my place cards! You were a saint and took a tedious job off my hands without me even asking for the help!! The Saturday went so smooth and was everything I wanted!! The new orangey was beautiful and truly wowed all our guests! All the staff over the weekend were amazing and kind to everyone and made such a huge difference to the vibe! I truly wish I could do the whole weekend over again! We also had the boathouse and stables which were beautifully done and added a little extra something to our weekend! Thank you Julia, for creating such a beautiful venue so close to home for us! We can’t stop looking at our photos and will be retuning to stay in the boathouse! Thank you Evie, you only started working on our wedding at the last minute but just took charge and sorted us out completely. I don’t think the day would have been the same without you. From the moment we first saw Craig Y Nos Castle, we loved it's gothic Victorian look, the stunning opera theatre, the conservatory, lounges, bar, function rooms, grounds, just everything about it. Like other couples we'd looked at other options, some of which were possibilities, others just meh; Craig Y Nos was a yes right from the beginning. The staff were amazing. Our wedding planner, Michaela and her team couldn't have done more for us. The food was outstanding - all our guests commented on it. One thing we would say is don't base all your judgements on the taster meal. Seeing how its presented on the day is nothing like how its presented for the taster. Looking back we'd probably have chosen the leek and potato soup (ours was a winter wedding) but at the taster it wasn't presented very well, was a bit tasteless and luke warm. The food on the day itself was just phenomenal and was so beautifully presented - like a high end restaurant. Sadly we didn't take pics - we wished we had. We chose a Victorian theme for our wedding and included a Victorian afternoon tea, our wedding meal in the conservatory and our party in the evening in the function room. They did all our decorating and set up everything for us so there wasn't all that much we needed to do ourselves. We just provided them with our decorations and the olde worlde crockery for the afternoon tea. Everything we instructed to be done was done. The package we chose was very well priced, with bits and pieces agreed additionally as we went along. Overall, we feel its was very good value for money given the standards received on the day and throughout each touch point. Finally, we found Craig Y Nos staff to be very welcoming and hospitable. We visited our venue quite a few times before the day itself for all sorts of reasons. Nothing was ever a problem and we were always welcomed and time was given to us. If we had it all over again, we would absolutely chose Craig Y Nos Castle again. We could think of no better place and are very much looking forward to attending one of their theme weekends so we can visit that spectacular place once again.
