As soon as we walked through the door we knew Peterstone was going to be our wedding venue. There was an immediate warmth and it has a very homely feel to it. The staff were brilliant from the beginning and I can’t thank them enough for helping everything run so smoothly on our big day. A special thanks to Sophie, our wedding planner, and Brad for leading everyone on the day. It couldn’t have gone any better & the food was absolutely delicious! So incredibly happy with our choice, we had the best day and will continue to visit for food or to use the spa as often as we can! 💖

This venue is incredible. We dreamed of a festival wedding and Wilde Lodge made that possible. It’s the perfect balance of laidback but still feeling very special. The venue has no rules, they truely just let you bring the space to life, and build a wedding weekend that is exactly what you want. The staff at the Lodge are amazing, everyone wants to help and they make you feel that every question or request is so simple and easy. Our guests were in total shock at the scale and beauty of this venue. I will forever be grateful to Wilde Lodge for the best weekend of our lives.

Plas Dinam is an incredibly special place. It was the first and only venue we viewed for our wedding, because from the moment we arrived, we knew it was the one. We had a winter wedding in the house, and despite the grandeur of the building, it felt wonderfully cosy, warm and inviting. It truly became our home for the entire weekend and so many of our guests commented on that same feeling. The DIY nature of the venue was perfect for us, allowing us to create a wedding that felt completely authentic and personal. The wonderful ladies at Plas Dinam were endlessly supportive, always on hand to answer questions and put any planning worries at ease. Their kindness and reassurance made the whole experience even more special. Plas Dinam will forever hold a place in our hearts. We only wish we could relive the day again and again.

Our wedding at this Glyngynwydd Wedding Barns was nothing short of magical, and I truly could not have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate such a special occasion. From the very first enquiry, the communication was excellent – every question was answered quickly, every visit to the venue was warmly welcomed, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The owner’s care and attention to detail throughout the planning process made everything run smoothly, leaving us completely reassured and excited in the lead-up to our big day. Having the entire venue privately to ourselves for the whole weekend was such a unique and special touch, giving us the chance to relax and celebrate surrounded only by our family and friends, which made it all feel so personal and intimate. The cottages and pods for our wedding party and guests were absolutely perfect – beautifully kept, comfortable, and just what we needed to make the weekend even more memorable. The setting itself was breathtaking from start to finish. Our ceremony in the woods was truly magical – the peaceful, natural backdrop of the trees created the most enchanting atmosphere and felt like something out of a fairytale. Afterwards, we had the most wonderful opportunity to capture photos in the beautiful meadow, which gave us the dreamiest, most romantic pictures that we will treasure forever. Every detail of the day flowed seamlessly, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the venue owner, whose professionalism and warmth were second to none. Everything went swimmingly, from start to finish, and I can honestly say it was beyond anything we could have imagined. It felt like our own little world for the weekend, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day and experience.

Where do we start… We had the perfect day at Llangoed Hall celebrating our September wedding. There’s not many things in life that give you butterflies in your tummy but every time we think about our wedding it does just that. It was perfect from start to finish and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! We were lucky enough to spend the night before our wedding here too, enjoying the build up with our family and friends and it allowed us to decorate everything ourselves and not have the stress of doing everything in the morning. We also all enjoyed an evening meal and then headed to the snooker room! Llangoed hall is beautiful both in the sunshine and rain (one of the main reasons we picked it as ‘You can’t rely on the Welsh weather!’), but we managed to have the sun which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful gardens and grounds and have the most amazing photos. Inside is equally as beautiful and plenty big enough to accommodate everyone (90 in total). We had canapés and drinks outside where the younger ones could run around and enjoy themselves, and then inside for our delicious wedding breakfast (the food was amazing!). Then the party with the band Northern Ruins and the Mid Wales Roadshow in the evening. It was the perfect end to the day . We honestly couldn’t recommend Llangoed Hall enough. It really was the dream wedding venue. The rooms are all individually designed by Laura Ashley and all have such a homely feel. We will forever be grateful for being able to get married there I and can’t thank everyone at Llangoed enough. Abbie was brilliant and any question that we had , she would reply immediately to, which really did help make the planning so easy and stress free. Abbie you are made for this job! We can’t wait to come back for our anniversary next year and also for the Christmas market next month. Llangoed is just magical and will always have a special place in our hearts. It was a dream come true and felt like our home for the weekend with having exclusive use for the two days 🥰☺️. We will never be able to thank you all enough. Kate & Nick xxx

We recently celebrated our wedding at the manor, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! From the very beginning, the staff made us feel welcomed and supported, ensuring every detail was taken care of. One of the best things about The manor was their flexible and affordable wedding packages. They truly allowed us to customize our experience to fit our vision and budget, which made the planning process so much smoother. We felt like we had the freedom to create our dream wedding without any financial stress. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, with gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces The food was fantastic! A special highlight was the apple crumble it was delicious!! If you’re looking for a wedding venue that offers flexibility, affordability, and outstanding service, we wholeheartedly recommend The manor. It made our special day truly unforgettable!

There is no better venue in my opinion to get "hitched". The venue itself speaks wonders! The weather helped and we had the most amazing day. Big thanks to Liza & Archie & everyone involved. We can't wait to revisit and re live one of the greatest days of our lives. Jak&Meghan ext. 02.07.2025

"Julia helped us to arrange our dream outdoor woodland ceremony and reception. Julia totally understood our vision for the wedding and in the eighteen months before the big day answered all of my (many!) questions, quickly and efficiently, providing useful insights and creative solutions to problems which had me completely stumped! She was a really positive and calming force throughout the planning process, always with good grace and a real sense of the happiness of the occasion. As well as being brilliant in the run up to the wedding, Julia also did a wonderful job behind the scenes on the day itself, coordinating suppliers and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Julia dealt with a number of supplier related hiccups - problems that i wasn't even aware of until a few weeks after the wedding because Julia handled them so carefully and swiftly. This was invaluable as it meant that my husband and I could really relax and enjoy the day, without any distractions. From start to finish, Julia went above and beyond the call of duty and we are so grateful to her for all her help and support. She is an absolute joy to work with and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both her and her new venture, Garthmyl Hall, to every couple in search of the perfect venue and wedding coordinator for their big day."

From the moment we first saw Craig Y Nos Castle, we loved it's gothic Victorian look, the stunning opera theatre, the conservatory, lounges, bar, function rooms, grounds, just everything about it. Like other couples we'd looked at other options, some of which were possibilities, others just meh; Craig Y Nos was a yes right from the beginning. The staff were amazing. Our wedding planner, Michaela and her team couldn't have done more for us. The food was outstanding - all our guests commented on it. One thing we would say is don't base all your judgements on the taster meal. Seeing how its presented on the day is nothing like how its presented for the taster. Looking back we'd probably have chosen the leek and potato soup (ours was a winter wedding) but at the taster it wasn't presented very well, was a bit tasteless and luke warm. The food on the day itself was just phenomenal and was so beautifully presented - like a high end restaurant. Sadly we didn't take pics - we wished we had. We chose a Victorian theme for our wedding and included a Victorian afternoon tea, our wedding meal in the conservatory and our party in the evening in the function room. They did all our decorating and set up everything for us so there wasn't all that much we needed to do ourselves. We just provided them with our decorations and the olde worlde crockery for the afternoon tea. Everything we instructed to be done was done. The package we chose was very well priced, with bits and pieces agreed additionally as we went along. Overall, we feel its was very good value for money given the standards received on the day and throughout each touch point. Finally, we found Craig Y Nos staff to be very welcoming and hospitable. We visited our venue quite a few times before the day itself for all sorts of reasons. Nothing was ever a problem and we were always welcomed and time was given to us. If we had it all over again, we would absolutely chose Craig Y Nos Castle again. We could think of no better place and are very much looking forward to attending one of their theme weekends so we can visit that spectacular place once again.

I would like to thank you for making my daughters wedding day/weekend so special. The venue for the reception was fantastic and all the staff were very warm and friendly and could not do enough for us all. All the gustes were thrilled with the setting. The accomodation of all the cottages was really comfortable with loads of space inside and out, to be able to let the children run about in safe surroundings made our stay relaxing and carefree. Your 5 star rating is well deserved.
