Vanessa, with her years of experience organising events, will work closely with you at each stage to ensure that your day is as perfect as possible. The beauty of arranging your wedding with the owner is that you can have the wedding that you want, with few rules and regulations. You will enjoy working with Vanessa and will find that no question is too big, too small or too silly, and the answer is usually 'yes'.

The Swan at Hay is licenced to hold civil ceremonies, and can accommodate up to 60 people in The Garden Room, overlooking our beautiful walled garden, while The Coach House Suite can accommodate up to 80 guests for the wedding breakfast. With the ceremony complete, the gardens provide a perfect backdrop for photographs and a drinks reception. Alternatively, the hotel’s wonderful Georgian rooms provide an indoor location if necessary.

The Swan at Hay offers excellent evening entertainment facilities with its dance floor, well-stocked bar and access to the garden. With 19 en-suite bedrooms, guests can also stay overnight. You can all enjoy breakfast together the morning after the wedding and swap stories and happy memories.
