Parnacott is a large, comfortable, welcoming, self-catering holiday home in Devon, close to the North Cornwall border. Set amidst lawns, trees, and fields in beautiful Devonshire countryside, Parnacott sleeps up to 14 in 7 bedrooms.

​Tranquil, spacious, and inviting, Parnacott House is perfect for families gathering, friends reuniting, and special celebrations. The house is within easy driving distance of several lovely, sandy Cornish beaches and the South West Coastal footpath. The AWARD-WINNING beach town of Bude is only 9 easy miles away.

We are all about creating an intimate space for you to enjoy, from an elopement for 2 to an intimate party of 14. Get married on the Georgian front porch in the warm, sunny months or in the drawing room.

THE HOUSE

Book the house and grounds for either 2 or 3 nights and take the pressure off. The choice is yours.

As well as the large dining room seating up to 14 and the comfortable drawing room with its open fire for chilly evenings, the ground floor has two further sitting areas with sofas.

One is beamed and slate-floored with a pool table, a 55-inch SMART TV with a sound bar, a Wii, games, books, a small puppet theatre, and a dressing-up box – ideal for children. The other is the Sitting/Breakfast room with its wood-burning stove, TV, sound system, and a table and chairs. This area opens out into the well-equipped kitchen, which means those preparing and cooking food are always part of the group.

​In addition to the utility room, there is a downstairs loo/shower room and two bedrooms – a double and a twin. This area of the house can be ideal for those bringing their dog(s) with them, as the side door has level access to the yard and gardens.

​Upstairs, you will be able to choose between 5 bedrooms, 3 of which are doubles, one large en-suite bedroom, and a main four-poster bedroom overlooking the garden.

THE GROUNDS

A true rural retreat, set in and around 35 acres of beautiful land, Parnacott is a large house with a winding private drive. You will discover that Parnacott is rich in wildlife. Forget about traffic and noise; sit out in the garden listening to the song birds – you might get to see a hare or even deer crossing the lawns.

Parnacott's position on rising ground gives it views out toward Dartmoor to the South East and Bodmin Moor to the South West.

It's time to relax and get lost in nature.
