Knockerdown offers you a blank canvas, to create an unforgettable weekend of celebrations based on your personality, style and beliefs. With the village entirely yours for the whole weekend we want you to treat it like it’s your home.
Once you and your guests have arrived, you can just park up, check in and relax for the duration of your stay. Your guests can choose to stay in one of our sixteen well equipped self-catering holiday cottages (4 being Dog Friendly).
On site facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, children’s play area, a communal games room and lots of grounds to explore.
We of course understand that organising a wedding can be tricky and time consuming so our events team will be on hand and aim to support you with your wedding weekend arrangements to the utmost, should you need them.

We are fully licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies so you can choose to hold your ceremony outdoors, in the meadow surrounded by far reaching views over rolling hills and open countryside under the specially designed oak framed garden gazebo OR the Brackendale Suite has plenty of scope to be turned into a beautiful space for an indoor civil ceremony complete with the all-important aisle.

Meet the Team
I have been working as an Events Co-ordinator now for over 8 years and I love to succeed. I am highly motivated and over the years the best job has been working with ALL of our Wedding Couples that have come knocking at our door. (Knockerdown!!!!) I feel that I have played a big part in their Wedding Planning and I hope they all hold "Special Memories" because "Events are over in a flash BUT photos last forever". The messages, photos and cards that my team and I have received has been overwhelming. "The Events Team" has grown over the past year and each one of them play a very important role whether they are behind the scenes or with me out front in the public eye.
I have been involved in the Events side of the Company for 4 year's now and was lucky with my determination to get promoted to Events Coordinator 2 years ago.
I feel very privileged when a wedding couple visits our venue and a year or so later, I see them leave as a married couple, and watch and help them throughout their planning for their special day. Being part of the “Events Team” At Knockerdown Cottages is a treat in its self.
