I genuinely don’t even know where to begin with Zoe, because no words will ever quite do justice to how incredible she is, but I’m going to try anyway.

From the very first moment we spoke, Zoe didn’t feel like a supplier, she felt like an old friend. Our journey started with the most relaxed FaceTime call, and within minutes we were completely at ease. There was no pressure, no awkwardness, just warmth, laughter and genuine excitement. It was obvious straight away that she truly cares about her couples, not just their photos.

After that, she sent over the clearest and most thoughtful booking form, which actually encouraged us to reflect on what we really wanted from our day. Because of that, we were able to create a bespoke package that felt perfectly tailored to us, not just a standard offering, but something deeply personal.

Once we had agreed on the package, she surprised us by including an engagement shoot. I honestly can’t put into words how special that was. The photos weren’t just beautiful - they were us. She captured our relationship so honestly, somehow balancing both of our very very different personalities in a way that felt effortless and real. My husband is incredibly shy and usually hates being in front of a camera, and yet Zoe made him feel completely at ease. She even got a genuine, proper smile out of him, which is something I truly never expected. That alone says everything about her magic, her calmness and her expertise.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, a few weeks later, she sent us a surprise video from our engagement shoot… and I cried. Not just a little tear - full, ugly, puffy faced happy tears. It was so far beyond anything we imagined and perfectly sums up how she goes above and beyond for her couples.

And then came the wedding day…

Zoe arrived early with her experienced and sweet second photographer and together they captured absolutely everything. Every moment, every emotion and every tiny detail. Nothing was missed. It was one of the sunniest days imaginable (amazing for us, but I know a challenge for photographers), and yet Zoe turned it into pure magic. The lighting, the colours, the angles. Every single image feels like a piece of art. I genuinely don’t know how she does it, but she does it flawlessly every single time, while keeping it all genuine.

Then, within just 30 hours of leaving our wedding, she sent us a SIGNIFICANT amount of photos over the usual number of preview photos other photographers offer. We were completely blown away and yes, I cried all over again. That level of care and dedication feels so rare, and we couldn’t have been more grateful.

She was also unbelievably accommodating throughout the entire day. My brother decided last minute (yes, that means 2 days before the wedding) that he wanted to try filming, and Zoe welcomed him without hesitation. In fact, she welcomed everyone. She blended in so naturally, making sure every single person felt comfortable, relaxed and valued. She even wore blue after I said the theme of the wedding was ‘something blue’, which helped her blend in more and feel part of our special day even more. I truly mean it when I say she felt like a friend, not a vendor.

She stayed late, made sure every single photo we (and our guests!) wanted was taken, and gave her absolute all from start to finish… and this was all just 9 days before her own wedding. 9 DAYS! That alone tells you everything you need to know. She is selfless, dedicated and genuinely one of the most special people you could ever hope to meet and have capture your special moments with.

I also have to mention my mum. She was a highly awarded wedding photographer for 25 years, while I was growing up, so she played a huge role in helping us choose the right person, and she is not easily impressed. But she trusted Zoe. She said her photos were beautiful, which is more praise than she’s given most photographers. Knowing my mum had that level of confidence in her meant everything to me and reassured me completely. Due to this trust, my mum actually left her camera at home and simply enjoyed the day, which I never dreamed imaginable.

Overall, this entire experience has been more than I ever could have dreamed. Zoe didn’t just give us photos, she gave us memories, emotions and moments we will treasure forever.

And finally, a very important mention for Bruce, her beautiful dog, who definitely deserves his own shoutout. I’m very sad he couldn’t join us on the wedding day, because he would’ve looked great in a blue bow tie!

Zoe, thank you for everything. You are truly one in a million and we couldn’t have dreamed of our wedding looking so magical.

We met Zoe at a wedding fair and won her contest for a free photoshoot and got lots of really beautiful shots of us at Tulleys Farm. She did an amazing job editing out the crowds and hiding how filthy our shoes had got! Really quick turnaround too, had them back after about a week. Super happy with them would reccomend.

We were recommended to Zoe Mills by Woodlands Park Hotel and found their faith in her to be fully justified.
She arranged a pre-wedding photo shoot and let us see the results in good time to have a large print on display at our wedding reception.
On the day itself, she and a colleague covered all aspects of the bride's preparations, guests arriving at the church, the ceremony and the reception; the whole "shoot" must have taken some ten hours.
