From start to finish, the team at Hotel du Vin were outstanding. Every query was answered promptly, and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, everything ran smoothly—staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The meal service was excellent, and thoughtful touches like post-ceremony drinks and champagne in our stunning suite made the day even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend Hotel du Vin wholeheartedly!

We recently had our wedding at The County and it was beyond perfect. Lucas and Anna were amazing coordinators and the rest of the staff were incredible too. I’d made a load of things for the tables and they arranged them perfectly. The food was delish, service brilliant and a special shoutout to the dude I never got the name of but seemed to be there all day, he was cracking! Thanks again!

I got married 24/08/2025 at The Grand Hotel Tynemouth. From the initial show around appointment to the wedding day itself everything was perfect, which we knew it would be. Both myself and my now Husband knew this was the venue for us before even stepping inside, it gave the wedding feels instantly. The wedding day was faultless and a day I will never forget. One reason for that is the staff, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and seamless. The Events Team are amazing, nothing I asked or queried was a bother and they done everything they could to accommodate and ensure the best day was had. I have had numerous comment about how fabulous the day and evening was. If I were to do it all again I would not change anything especially the choice in this venue.

I have been one of the preferred venue decorators for this venue for over 6 years. I always recommend this venue to my clients because it's nice, affordable and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. They are always willing to help and go the extramile. I love decorating this venue!

We booked our wedding in 2024 and had constant communication with the hotel from the dayof booking. We were able to pay in installments and no query went unanswered. Staff always so happy to help and our big day went off without a hitch! So thankful for the professionalism and assistance as well as the absolutely incredible food provided both day and night time. Will forever sing praises for how wonderful they made our special day

Our wedding day was special from start to finished the team at Gosforth Park hotel couldn’t do enough for us. Both the ceremony room and the reception room looked amazing all our guest commented that it was a stunning wedding. The food options were great and the biggest hit with the guest so plenty of full tummy’s the DJ was brilliant happy to play any songs requested and do karaoke. Connie and her team really looked after us from the initial booking right to the day after the wedding. We are so happy we picked the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park and I’m sure it will be our first choice for future events. Thank you to all the staff Love Mr and Mrs Lewis-Dale

Where do I start ... I always had my heart set on Gretna Green but after visiting my mind was changed and I wanted somewhere closer to home and something better. We went along to The Grand wedding fayre in January and when I walked in, I cried and from then on I knew this was the place!! From start to finish the team were bang on, very responsive throughout - they even kept up with my millions of emails which is very impressive!! We booked our special day for June 21st 2025 ... we had been engaged for 6 years and thought why not ... let's do it!! Leanne was on holiday at the time of our wedding so we had Charlotte running our day and everything was spot on ... the organisation was amazing, the food was beautiful. Get booking you will not be disappointed!! The only issue we found was lack of air con ... trust me to get married during a heatwave but staff done all they can to accommodate. A massive bonus was having out 13 year old mini schnauzer there for the full day as I could not say I do without having her by my side. Thank you all ❤️

We got married at the Holiday Inn Washington on 18th October 2025. It was THE BEST DAY of our lives! Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish with no awkward gaps while the room was turned around after the ceremony for the wedding breakfast then the disco! The room was absolutely beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make our day so memorable. Every guest commented on how great the whole day was. The ceremony was emotional, the food was delicious and the disco was fantastic!!! We’re so pleased we went for this venue, it was everything we wanted and more. Big shout out to SiAnne (the wedding planner), Chris (the manager), the lovely lady who was like my bag security on the night ( I kept putting it down and losing it🥴, and she would appear with it😁), the two DJ’s, and every other person who made our day so very special!!! Thank you all❤️ So don’t even think about it, just get it booked! You won’t regret it!

We had our wedding at the Vermont on 3/5/25 and all I can say is outstanding. The venue alone is truly gorgeous and then above is amazing for the scenery. The pictures we got were truly breathtaking. The wedding team were just 10/10 can’t fault them at all they ensured our day was perfect and flowed. Tanya and Lukas are definitely the best! Everyone complemented our day and even some said one of the best weddings they had been to! Thank you so much for everything. 100% recommend to get married here you will not be disappointed!🤍

Now the dust has settled, I just wanted to drop you and the whole team at the Royal Station Hotel a note to say thank you all for helping us have a better wedding than we both ever imagined. All of the rooms were set up perfectly. The food – I’m not going to lie, I had been nervous as we hadn’t tried anything, but delighted with how lovely it all was – everyone commented on how good the food had been so thank you to the kitchen staff and chefs who made everything delish! Bar Staff – Please thank the bar staff who I’m sure had their work cut-out for them! They too were very helpful and always seemed to be smiling which makes a huge difference! Christine the duty manager was very good and reshuffled things for us when things ran-over a bit time-wise which helped me relax as I didn’t feel rushed at any point! The DJ you had organised for us was fantastic! Again, as it was part of a package I think my expectations had been low, but Kerry was great, the lighting set-up was awesome, she played the music we asked for and was a good sport when dealing with some of Gareth’s well served friends! ? Overall I am amazed that we had such a brilliant wedding with you for the money that we paid – We both feel very lucky to have found the Royal Station Hotel for our wedding. Thank you all again!
